Among these twenty-one people, each had learned several languages of different races to varying extents. Nie Yan had learned up to thirteen languages, some of which he had paid to learn in the library, while others he had picked up accidentally during his adventures. Common Language and Ancient Common Language were mandatory, as well as languages like Beastmanish and Dwarvish, which were quite common. Each major language family contained many smaller dialects, such as Kolaradian Minotaur Language which belonged to a small dialect within Beastmanish.
