"Next Tuesday, same time?"
"Of course. You better not bail on me again, Lith."
"Pfft. Says the guy who rage-quit two matches in a row."
"Shut up."
The laughter still echoed in Martini's head—bright, digital, half-muted by headphones. A promise made beneath the flicker of a login screen, under the soft hum of his PC. It was just another night. Just another ranked match.
Just another playful argument between online friends who had never met but somehow knew each other better than anyone else. With those thoughts in mind he dozed off and had soon awakened at the morning dawn.
He smiled, eyes squinting from sleep. He hadn't stayed up that late—just enough to make him slightly groggy as he adjusted the strap of his work bag and stepped out the front door.
'I wasn't awake for too long yesterday, was I?' The thought was raised and immediately dismissed as he walked out the door.
The air was cool. Morning traffic buzzed faintly in the distance. His hoodie was a little too warm for spring, but he liked it—a gift from a little brother who never acted too attached. He passed a familiar corner store, humming an old tune from the a random game's soundtrack. The crosswalk light blinked red.
That was the last normal thing he saw before a group of boys—maybe high schoolers or first year university students—laughing too loud, began messing around near the curb. One of them stepped behind the other, saying something idiotic like "Bet he jumps!" and shoved Martin fiercely.
He remembered the moment mid-air.
Not fear. Not panic.
Rage.
A fire that exploded behind his eyes, roaring with betrayal, injustice, fury so strong it swallowed even his breath.
This isn't fair.
Surprisingly?
The impact never hurt.

He floated.
Time passed—days, weeks, months.
There was no sky here. Nobody. Just his thoughts. Just burning, pulsing anger that refused to settle.
He'd been promised more. A life. A second chance. A chance to play again next Tuesday. A chance to live to his hearts content.
But the fury boiled over. The betrayal of a senseless death, the gut-punch of leaving with no goodbye, no closure.
No deleted internet history.
---
Then came stillness.
Not peace. Not forgiveness. But resignation. The rage didn't vanish, but dulled—chilled, reshaped into a hollow sort of calm.
He let go.
He finally accepted that he lost everything. His family, his friends, his life but most importantly his sanity. It was is if a switch clicked inside his mind saying: fuck it, do whatever you want and don't care about other opinions.
And in that moment, the system returned.

His last thought before light took him was simple. Not dramatic. Not heroic.
Just tired.
"I still wanted to play again, Kuro. I hope you didn't get morose because of me."
And then silence.
Until the world pulled him back—into a body older, unfamiliar, powerful beyond measure, and now... entirely female.
But that fact? 'She' would learn soon enough.
---
Darkness gave way to silence.
Then, breath—shaky, unsure, alive.
Martin's, no, her—eyes snapped open.
She lay on her back, surrounded by an ancient cavern bathed in faint violet light. Moss and glowing fungi clung to the walls, the ceiling high above laced with roots and crystal-veined stone. Magic hummed in the air like a living thing. She could feel it—not just around her, but inside her, coiled like a storm waiting to be unleashed.
Her body felt alien.
Slimmer. Softer. Lighter.
A sharp jolt ran through her as she sat up too fast. Hands flew to her chest. A very real, very present chest.
"Wait... what the hell?!"
Her voice wasn't deep anymore. In fact, it was clear and smooth, with just enough bite to make her wince at how cute it sounded. She scrambled to her feet and nearly tripped, catching herself on a nearby boulder.
"I've got boobs."
(A/N: Nah timeout. Really Lith? Of all the things to focus on, you pick that?)
She blinked again, mouth twitching.
"Big ones."
(A/N: ... I think I'm going to kill you Lith.)
Her voice was higher, smooth but a bit rough from disuse. Her gaze scanned herself, taller than she remembered, more muscular than expected, and curvier than one would expect. A black and crimson outfit clung to her like it was painted on, the short shorts and half-jacket far too reminiscent of a certain anime character.
"Okay. Weird dream? Really realistic dream? I'm... alive? No, I definitely died. What the hell is this?"
That's when her eyes dropped to the obsidian plaque glowing beneath her feet. Strange, ancient script pulsed softly with lavender light. But she could read it as easily as breathing:
"Lilim Nava."
She stared at it. The name... It wasn't hers. Not the one she'd been born with. Not the one she'd used on Earth. But, despite all odds, somehow it felt right. Like it belonged to her and her alone.
"Lilim huh. I guess that's me now?"
There was no panic. Just... confusion. And a strange calm, like a part of her had been waiting to wake up for a long, long time.
She took a breath. Then another. Thoughts of her Earth life, the gaming sessions, her friend Kuro, university, the cruel 'prank' at the crosswalk, all of it swirled rapidly in her mind. That pain was still there, but dulled, distant. Her soul had burned with rage for months after death, delaying her journey here.
No answer, or rather no voices responded to her unanswered questions. Just silence and the hum of residual magic. No guiding voice, no floating text window to hold her hand. The system seemed broken or just done with her.
Probably done with her.
"Guess I'm on my own."
Now... she was back. In a body that wasn't hers. Or maybe, one that always had been. It was hard to say considering the conflicting feelings she had about her name.
She stood and dusted herself off, eyeing the tall exit ahead. The heavy air of confinement no longer held her, only potential. Potential for what you may ask? For whatever she wanted of course.
She wandered out of the cavern, moss crunching beneath her bare feet. A thin mist curled through the trees. She barely noticed the scenery; her mind was still racing.
"I look like older Milim."
I have boobs.
I'm cute, I guess?
I am... disturbingly okay with this?
The realization was surreal. But somehow,
it wasn't horrifying. In fact, the longer she stood there, the more right it felt.
Lithnox, huh? Guess you got an upgrade.
With a quiet breath, she looked up. Her instincts tugged at her again. The magic inside was swirling, like wind behind locked gates.
Flying should be easy, right? Just a little test ease into it.
She crouched slightly, focusing on the thought of gently floating up—
FWOOOOM—
The world exploded. A shockwave of pure force launched her upward, vaporizing the ground in a perfect circle beneath her.
Trees bent outward like matchsticks, birds scattered, and the sky tore open.
Lilim rocketed through the clouds before she even registered she had left the ground. Cold air whipped at her face. Stars twinkled far above.
"WHY AM I STILL GOING?!" she screamed, flailing in a panic.
The system chimed in, its tone dry and emotionless as it spoke with a deadpan voice:
[Observation: Accidental skill use. Velocity: 3,200 m/s. Power Output: 0.7% of base level. Concussion probability: 0.003%. All good.]
"Thanks. Very comforting."
-_-
"Ugh... how do i stop this? C'mon think! Wait a second..."
She twisted mid-air and began her descent. Fast. Very fast.
Rimuru's Camp – Just After Sunrise
Crim sipped tea lazily, sitting beside a half-asleep Rimuru near the camp. The slime had only just awakened and as he did, he muttered something about naming fatigue when suddenly Great Sage started flashing warnings.
[WARNING: Catastrophic energy spike approaching. Time to impact: 10 seconds.]
Rimuru jolted upright, his gelatinous form trembling.
Crim blinked once. Then again.
"Huh."
[Dangerous Mana Signature Detected. Incoming.]
Rimuru relayed the words causing Crim to sigh.
"Of course it is."
BOOOOM.
The earth quaked as a dust cloud erupted nearby. Crim rose to her feet, half serious now, hand hovering near her dagger, before realizing she didn't have a dagger and thus letting her hand slide back down to it's side. Hoping non one noticed.
"That wasn't in the anime."
Rimuru meanwhile was torn between running and staying to investigate. 4
"What the hell was that?!"
A colossal shockwave had leveled trees just outside the village. A flash of violet light blazed through the woods, followed by a second burst of wind. Leaves scattered. Wolves howled.
The ground trembled.
Crim's eyes widened.
"That... wasn't supposed to happen."
"You think?!"
"I mean I am..."
"What does Descartes have to do with anything?!"
The Crater
Lilim lays in the center of a crater, flat on her back, blinking up at the sky.
Smoke curled around her. A small bird landed on her nose, looked around, then flew off in a panic.
[Observation: All limbs intact. Landing successful.]
Lilith looked at the trail of devastation as her eyes went dotted.
"I think we have very different definitions of successful..."
She sat up, hair frazzled, dirt smeared on her cheek. Dusting herself off she looked up and saw two figures at the crater's edge.
A slime. And a girl.
The girl stared at her like she'd seen a ghost. Or maybe something worse.
She froze.
'That's him. Rimuru. This is actually real. Damn...'
It all clicked in that instant. She wasn't hallucinating. She was in the Tensura world. And if Rimuru was here, then...
She stood tall, puffing out her chest, suddenly trying to copy that chaotic, proud energy she remembered from Milim since she resembled her.
"Fear not, low-tier NPCs! Your goddess of mayhem has arrived!"
Crim arched a brow, unimpressed. "...You okay?"
Lilim coughed in embarrassment. "Yeah, sorry—first impression kinda exploded. Literally."
Rimuru blinked. "Who are you?"
Lilim grinned wide. "Name's Lilim. Lilim Nava."
Crim chuckled lightly. "With that crater, I thought it was Landing? Naaahh."
Lilim snorted. "Hey, I was testing gravity. It failed."
Crim smiled, a glint of amusement in her eyes. "Gravity's fault, huh?"
Lilim smirked. "Yup. Not user error. Totally science."
Crim crossed her arms. "You're... really strong."
Lilim flexed an arm playfully. "Yeah, I hit the gym once. Then hit everything else by accident."
There was a brief pause as Crim and Rimuru shared a glance.
Rimuru took a hesitant step forward, glancing back at Crim. "You sure we shouldn't, like... run?"
Crim crossed her arms, watching the strange girl with amused caution. "Nah, if she wanted to nuke us, she probably would've done it already."
Lilim snapped her fingers. "Exactly! Thank you, shortie."
Crim narrowed her eyes. "I'm not that short."
Lilim made a show of squinting. "Hmmm... nah, you're definitely snack-size."
Crim snorted. "Says the walking wardrobe malfunction."
"Hey!" Lilim flicked her twin tail back dramatically. "This outfit is peak combat fashion. Aerodynamic. Practical. Short shorts are superior!"
Rimuru's slime body trembled slightly. "Why do I feel like I've stepped into a weirdly chaotic slice-of-life episode?"
Crim shrugged. "Just roll with it. I think we're the side characters now."
Lilim put her hands on her hips, grinning. "Side characters? Please. I crash-landed into your plotline like a meteor from the heavens! I'm clearly the protagonist now."
Rimuru coughed. "Uh-huh. Speaking of which... you did land like a meteor. Are you okay?"
She blinked, glancing around at the massive crater behind her. "Oh yeah, that was nothing. Just a gentle touch-down."
Crim arched a brow. "You leveled three trees and the while area around it."
"Only three?" Lilim turned and examined the crater. "Huh. I must be rusty."
[Potential Threat Level: Catastrophic.]
'Learn to read the room Great Sage!'
Crim leaned closer to Rimuru and said casually, "So... want to pretend we're not terrified or just roll with it?"
Lilim saw the unease, and her expression shifted. She dropped her "tough act" posture, grinned, and gave a dramatic bow.
"Don't worry, I'm not here to obliterate you. Yet. Unless you guys try to tax me or something."
Rimuru chuckled nervously. "I mean... we are forming a village..."
Crim nodded seriously. "And taxes are evil."
Lilim pointed at Crim, laughing. "See? She gets it."
Crim smirked. "Damn right I do."
Lilim looked back at them, a more serious glint in her eye. "Actually... I'm kinda figuring things out as I go. You could say I woke up from a really long nap."
Rimuru hesitated. "You mean like... sealed?"
Lilim nodded, slowly. "Yup, sort of. No clue why. Just woke up in a dusty ruin with this name carved under me—'Lilim Nava.'" She shrugged. "So I figured, hey, that's probably me."
Crim's eyes narrowed slightly. "Nava... that name's familiar..."
Lilim waved it off. "Probably just a coincidence."
Not really. (Crim)
But she didn't say that out loud.
Rimuru looked thoughtful. "Well... if you really just woke up, maybe we should check the crater. You might've landed on something. Or someone."
Lilim's eyes widened. "...You think there's treasure?"
Crim grinned. "If it survived you landing on it, it deserves to be looted."
"Fair."
Lilim turned and walked towards the edge of the crater with a bounce in her step, still brushing the dust from her shorts. "Come on, weird slime dude and mini firecracker, let's check it out."
"Firecracker?" Crim muttered. "I swear I'm gonna slap her one day..."
"Please don't." Rimuru sweat dropped. "She could probably punch a mountain."
Crim followed behind anyway. "So could I."
"It's not the same."
They climbed into the crater together—well, Lilim just waited while holding a boulder on her finger effortlessly then put it down while Rimuru and Crim came down with caution. The center of the crater was scorched, the impact having dislodged several large chunks of stone. Crim knelt down, inspecting faint glyphs barely glowing with residual magic.
Rimuru hovered above them. "So... do you have amnesia or something?"
"Sorta?" Lilim scratched her cheek. "I remember... being someone else. But not the important stuff. Just the boring stuff. University. Commuting. Family. Video games. Uh... more video games."
Crim glanced up at her sharply, but said nothing yet.
Lilim continued, arms crossed. "But I don't remember anything about this life. Just woke up here. Boom. Now I'm a hot pink-haired superweapon with no memory of being one. As if my memories are gone or locked. Fun."
"And you apparently gained an ego to rival Gigglemesh but semantics."
Despite her sass, Crim's eyes were on Lilim closely now, gears turning behind her joking demeanor.
Rimuru meanwhile began questioning his skill.
"Great Sage, any clue about her?"
[Individual: Lilim Nava. Race: Dragonoid. Danger Level: Unknown. Estimated power: Inconclusive data, Threat Index beyond Milim]
"Inconclusive data?!" Rimuru shrieked. " How is that even a frickin thing?! And who the hell is Milim?!"
Crim's mouth dropped. "Wait, Milim Nava?!"
Lilim blinked. "Who?"
Crim stared. "You don't know her?"
Lilim shrugged and whistled. "Name doesn't ring a bell."
Crim laughed awkwardly, trying to play it cool. "Nope. Totally fine. Not like she's a walking nuke with twin tails."
"Sounds fun," Lilim said with a smirk. "Is she cute?"
Crim shot Rimuru a look. "We're so screwed."
Crim chose to ignore the thought that if Lilim and Milim met, they might cause a war over who's cuter.
Lilim sat cross-legged in the crater, stretching her arms overhead. "Well, I'm not gonna blow up your village. Unless your food's bad. Sooo, what now?"
Rimuru sighed. "Now? We probably take you back to camp... and try not to have a panic attack."
Crim nodded. "And maybe see if you accidentally qualify as a natural disaster."
Lilim grinned. "Only on weekdays."
