Chapter 1 - The Demon Who Devoured Dao

Chapter 1: The Demon Born Beneath Heaven

The skies raged the moment he was born.

Thunder roared. Blood rain fell. And the heavens, once silent, trembled in rejection.

Deep within the sinister halls of the Black Abyss Sect, a child came into the world without a cry—eyes wide open, black and bottomless, like a void that consumed even light.

His mother—an exiled cultivator whose name was stricken from the records—died moments later, her body crumbling to ash as if heaven itself erased her for birthing him. No one knew who the father was. Some whispered she had mated with a demon. Others believed she made a contract with something ancient, something forbidden.

The elders looked upon the child and recoiled.

> "This one is cursed."

"He carries... a devouring aura."

They named him Mo Tian—Heaven's End.

From the beginning, he was different. While other children cultivated under sunlight and guidance, Mo Tian meditated in the shadows of tombs, drinking from poisoned springs and absorbing the remnant Qi of slain beasts.

At age five, he killed a senior disciple for stepping on his shadow.

At age seven, he created his own technique: Devouring Dao, a cultivation path that fed on the Qi, souls, and bodies of others.

Not refined. Not elegant. But terrifyingly effective.

By ten, he had surpassed the core disciples.

By twelve, he destroyed his own sect—absorbing every elder's cultivation and burning their legacy to ash.

Standing alone on the Abyss Cliff, his robes torn and soaked in elder blood, Mo Tian looked to the distant celestial mountains—the sacred lands of the righteous sects who had branded his mother a heretic and cast her out.

> "You feared me before I could crawl," he whispered.

"Now you will kneel before I let you die."

He raised his hand, and from the abyss, a blade forged of devoured Dao emerged—its edge humming with the souls of a hundred cultivators.

The winds stopped. The sky darkened.

> "I don't seek immortality," he growled.

"I seek domination. Vengeance. Annihilation."

And with a single step forward, the world began to change.
