Chapter 10
The Voice Beneath The Passion.
Ava's POV
I didn't know who moved first…him or me. All I knew was that one second I was telling him to leave, the next I was telling him that I wanted him so bad. My back hit the cabin wall, his body pressing into mine, heat radiating from every inch of him.
"I want to feel every part of your body tonight." He told me as he started kissing my neck. "I need to feel you, Ava."
My core clenched, and my heartbeat sped up. This was wrong, but I didn't care. My fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him even closer as his lips brushed mine.
"I am yours," I said, panting hard. "Every piece of my body and soul is yours, Caden." He looked up at me, his hands everywhere ... my waist, my back, gripping, claiming, worshipping like he had been starved for years and now on my found his salvation.
He looked up at me and gave me a small smile. Deepening the kiss, never closing his eyes or looking away. "Caden…." I gasped, his mouth trailing down my throat, leaving a trail of fire in its wake.
Tell me to stop," he whispered against my skin. "Say the word and I'll stop." He growled low in his chest, a sound that sent a shiver racing down my spine. But I didn't want it to stop. I couldn't.
Because for the first time in forever, I didn't feel broken. I felt wanted, needed. I felt alive. "Take my clothes off," he growled, making me wetter than I already was. He lifted me effortlessly, carrying me to the bed like I was something fragile, precious to him.
He sat up so I could lift his shirt over his head. I drooled at the sight of his muscles on his arms and chest. No matter how many times I saw his body, I always admired him. I couldn't believe this moment was happening.
He kissed me again, it wasn't gentle this time. It was desperate. Like he was trying to drown in me, to lose himself, to forget everything else outside these four walls. And maybe I was doing the same.
I didn't wait for him to tell me what to do next. I unbuttoned his jeans and pulled them down. His cock was already hard, I rubbed it over his boxers, making him groan. I felt the conflict in him with every touch.
The man who rejected me. And the wolf who couldn't let me go. There was no Seraphina this time, no rejection. No broken bonds. Just Caden and me.
"You're wet. " his voice came out deep. I was a virgin. If he didn't know before, he knew now. I had never seen what a cock even looked like. I leaned forward and swiped his cock with my tongue, tasting the precum. It tasted salty and tangy.
His hands gripped my thighs, pulling me closer to him, our bodies fitting together like pieces of a puzzle long forgotten but somehow perfectly aligned. I wasn't thinking anymore. I was feeling. And right now, I feel alive.
He groaned against my mouth, a low, rough sound that vibrated through me. My fingers gripped his neck, pulling him even closer, deeper into me. But then—
The sound was soft. Almost too faint to hear.
"Ava..."
I froze, wanting to know where that voice came from. But his mouth never stopped moving against my skin, neck, down to my vagina.
But then the voice came again.
Ava... please... find me..."
This wasn't his voice. Caden was above me, kissing me, touching me, going deep inside me while he was burning me alive. But this voice….it was coming from somewhere deeper within him.
His wolf.
"Help me..."
I gasped, but it got lost in the heat the moment Caden slid his cock into me. "I want to hear your moans calling out my name," Caden whispered, his mouth kissing my hard nipples.
He didn't notice my hesitation. His hand roamed over me, hungry and desperate, as if I were the only thing holding him to this world. For a second, I let myself drown in it again.
Because gods, I wanted this, he was fucking me so good and I wanted him. But the voice wouldn't stop. It clawed at my heart, side but relentlessly. "Free me... Ava... please."
I grabbed his face, forcing his eyes to meet mine. His pupils were blown wild with desire, but beneath the heat….I saw something else.
Fear.
Pain.
Don't stop ... please don't stop making love to me," I whispered, searching his eyes, my voice shaking. For a heartbeat, I saw a flicker of something. Like a man screaming behind a glass that they couldn't hear from.
Then his lips found mine again, distracting me from what I had just seen. It was rough, needy, and the passion between us reignited. But I couldn't ignore it anymore. His human self wanted to lose himself in me tonight. But his wolf... his wolf was crying out for help.
I broke the kiss, my breath ragged, my chest rising and falling against his. "Listen to me," I whispered, holding his face between my palms. "Something's wrong. I can feel it. Your wolf…he's trapped."
He stiffened above me, confusion evident through his features, then something colder took over. "You're just imagining things, Ava." He rasped, his voice shaking.
No," I whispered, shaking my head. "I heard him. I hear him, Caden." He pressed his forehead to mine, his breath coming in heavy gaps. "Don't ruin this moment for me, Ava," he whispered, groaning against my lips.
"I want to make love to you. Don't make me feel this." But it was too late. We were both already falling. I slid my arms around him, holding him like he might shatter.
And then—
The voice came louder this time, echoing in my mind like thunder. "Ava... free me. Break the bond. She's killing me
