Thunder echoes across SkyVault. The sky is tinted deep purple. Rift energy bleeds into the clouds. Nullborn's presence is growing. The air feels wrong.
In the skies, rift shards begin to swirl, forming a vortex directly above SkyVault's heart.
[SCENE — VAN HQ WAR ROOM]
Kael (gritting his teeth):
"It's time. Nullborn's fully emerged. We don't have long."
Yuna (calm but shaken):
"People are already evacuating. Its presence is... disrupting every living thing. Plants are weeping. Animals fleeing."
Jax (slamming fists together):
"Then let's shut it down before it turns the whole city into a horror show."
Aurix:
"We're going full force. No holding back."
Tari (locking her rifle):
"And if this is the last fight... I'm making every shot count."
[SCENE — SKYVAULT CENTRAL PLAZA]
Nullborn rises from the Rift — a being of glitched crystal, faces twisted into its jagged body, its eyes hollow and echoing with ancient screams.
The team assembles, weapons out. Crimsa nods quietly to Kael, gripping her daggers. Irion breathes deeply, his energy already glowing.
Nullborn (voice layered, ancient):
"You delay what is inevitable. I am the echo of all ends. I am the silence after the scream."
[INTENSE BATTLE SEQUENCE]
Kael surges in first, flames igniting across the plaza, but Nullborn's body twists and absorbs the heat.
Kael:
"It's feeding off energy! Go non-elemental!"
Jax switches tactics, using concussive bursts of silence. Tari calls orbital fire — precise, minimal. Yuna weaves protection vines around the team. Crimsa dashes in shadows, hitting weak points.
Irion channels his true power. His eyes go white as Rift patterns glow along his arms. He lifts into the air, binding Nullborn's limbs with pure anti-Rift energy.
Irion (shouting):
"NOW! While it's bound!"
Tari's sniper sings. Echo-7 links his signal to Irion's field. Aurix drives a plasma blade deep into the entity's core.
Nullborn (screeching):
"You think death ends me? I am the void you left behind!"
Irion floats forward, placing his palm over the core.
Irion (whispers):
"Then I'll fill that void myself."
A surge of anti-Rift energy blasts outward in an orb. Nullborn screams — glitching, cracking, then shattering into millions of light particles that fade into the wind.
[AFTERMATH — SKYVAULT, DAWN]
The city is calm. Survivors cheer. The Vanguards stand on a rooftop, exhausted, scarred... but alive.
Kael (quietly):
"It's over."
Yuna (looking to the sun):
"For now."
Irion:
"That thing... won't return. I felt it end. Truly."
Veya (grinning):
"Alright, so breakfast on me?"
Jax:
"Only if you don't pick the spicy ramen place again."
Everyone laughs, even Aurix.
[SCENE — LATER, AT NIGHTFALL RESTAURANT]
Chef Malro brings out plates of food as everyone relaxes.
Malro:
"To SkyVault's finest. And the loudest."
Tari:
"Is that a jab at Jax?"
Malro:
"Who else would I be talking about?"
They laugh again. But Crimsa sits quietly, sipping tea, glancing out the window at the distant Rift tower now silent.
Crimsa (softly):
"Phase One… complete."
[POST-CREDIT SCENE — UNKNOWN CRIMSON FACILITY]
The Commander stares at a map. Multiple Rift signatures flash across the globe.
Commander:
"Nullborn is gone. But its death... awakened far more."
He places a hand on a prison-like tube. Inside — a new figure sleeps.
Commander (smiling):
"Begin Phase Two. Mother Null is ready."
