Synopsis
A high-out-his-mind teen gets absolutely disintegrated by a nuke, and now he’s in Naruto as a random extra who barely appeared in more than two scenes. They didn’t even reuse his design. He was truly an NPC. However, he was most certainly an important NPC… at least for all the, well, questionable shippers.

Chapter 1 : What? Nuke?

Ring ring.

The school bell shrieked out the end of free period. The hallways swarmed with students, a noisy tide of chatter and shoes squeaking against waxed floors, as everyone migrated to their next classes.

Inside the boys' bathroom, the metallic click of a lock echoed. In the farthest stall, cramped in the corner, a group of teens huddled together. The stale air reeked of piss, mold, and something sharper—thicker. Weed. Strong enough to make your eyes sting.

"Yo, Jay, pass the blunt," a lazy, slightly buzzed voice broke the silence.

Jay—a blonde-haired teen with brown eyes, slouched and barely present—wordlessly handed the joint to the speaker. That guy had clearly smoked more than a little already. South Asian, with luscious brown hair and bloodshot eyes where the sclera had turned a soft red glow from all the weed in his system.

He brought the joint to his lips, breathing in deep like it was the last breath he'd ever take. The smoke curled in his lungs.

Then—

BOOM.

A flash. A noise beyond comprehension. In an instant, a shockwave tore through the city, the school, the bathroom—everything. Concrete walls shattered like powdered snow. Flesh and bone became pink mist. Human bodies turned into grotesque confetti. No warning. No time to scream. Just... nothing.

Their brains couldn't even process it. It was a death too fast to feel, yet too awful not to be called pain.

Among the millions who met their end was Arjun.

So much for the high. It didn't mean shit. He was dead.

"Huh? Where the hell... am I?" he muttered, blinking.

The smoke. The bathroom. The stall. Gone.

Now he was sitting in a chair. An old wooden one. The kind your grandma might have in her creepy back room. The "room" he was in had no windows, no doors, no shadows. Just white. Endless, blinding white. So bright it had no depth. Nothing to focus on.

In front of him sat an ancient, chunky PC. A relic from the 1990s—big, yellowed plastic and a humming box monitor. Its screen glowed with harsh neon green text.

[YOU HAVE DIED. Serial Code: 089735797367]

Due to the unfortunate escalation of geopolitical tensions on Earth, a full-scale nuclear artillery exchange has occurred.

Humanity: mostly wiped out.

Would you like to be reborn?

YES / NO

Arjun stared, mouth ajar. Slowly, the weight of it all sank in. He was... dead. Actually dead. The world was nuked. Everyone he knew—gone.

Though, to be honest, "cared for" was a bit strong. More like... "tolerated."

Still, no going back now.

Mechanically, like he was still high, he reached out and tapped the right-click button on the old, grimy mouse.

Click.

"Shit... I just clicked without thinking," he muttered. "Ah well... better than finding out what happens if I said no."

The screen flickered.

Arjun squinted.

"Naruto...? Wait. Waitwaitwait. Naruto?! Are you serious?!" he laughed, then groaned, dragging a hand down his face.

"A dice roll? Is this some DnD bullshit? Where's the 'God-tier OP powers' button? Some busted skill like infinite chakra or—hell, at least a sexy jutsu buff. Something fun."

He sighed. "I swear, if I get some trash-ass ability..."

Still, he clicked.

The digital dice spun—an absurd 100-sided polyhedral, whirling too fast to read. Then it stopped.

[MYSTERIOUS BOX]

A box of unknown origins. Functions as a randomized starter pack. Rarity may vary. Let's hope you're lucky.

One use only.

Arjun's face twisted. "Eh? The hell kinda lootbox-ass nonsense—"

Before he could finish the sentence, the world shattered like glass. The white space cracked, split, and fell away.

He was falling.

No. He was being pulled, yanked in every direction like his very soul was being torn to pieces. The pain he expected didn't come—just the sensation of being liquified, like a human smoothie thrown into a cosmic blender.

Then, that liquid version of him seeped through the ceiling of some random house. It passed through the floor like vapor, sinking down into the unmoving body of a teenage boy.

Transmigration complete.

Arjun had arrived.
