I'd finally learnt to leave the questions unanswered and live my life in ways I could after all it was the best I could have,
not until my parents died
The the police and investigators handling the case reported that it was an accident allegedly a truck ran their car over
The bodies weren't brought back they said my relatives collected the the body of the diseased to give a proper burial
to think that I didn't even get the chance to see them get buried
the relative that took their bodies didn't even bother one bit to reach out to me
because I was only 16 and would be 17 in 2 months time I would have been taken away by child service but perhaps someone insisted that I'd be okay with them I think they are the relative my parents never spoke of I believed they were My relatives cause the police confirmed to them being my mom's relatives
the only thing bothering me was why they haven't visited for once in years never spoke a word and never came to claim me as any family would
I had got a job at the bar right across the street it wasn't even a hassle getting a job cause I found out I looked 2 years over my actual age and that was an advantage because I really needed the job so desperately
At first it felt a bit awkward cuz I've been indoors all my life but I had to put everything behind me and take the job seriously if I really wanted to get by while having something to eat till my supposed relatives shows up at least I have a house and a few treasurable items left for me by my parents
That might be enough for me to hold on to till I find out my next move.
