(In 1983, a white policeman killed a black kid for pushing his son away from his brother, only to cause a black riot in South Central Los Angeles- the news spread around the United States, which only created a crisis for both communities. The riot not only caused thousands to die but also a blackout to the entire state; fourteen years later the power has not come back since, and people have started a deprivation-and-economic turmoil.)
We now see a man known as Craigory Chronus riding his motorcycle, heading to wherever there is sanctuary as the man makes a quick stop at a gas station, hoping to find food, water, and medical supplies. As Craig entered the gas station, he saw that the inside had been wrecked. He looked at every broken fridge and every wrecked shelf, but no luck. He even went to the office, but all he saw were two dead bodies that seemed to be rotten. Craig sighed in disappointment as he had no food or water in two weeks, Craig was about to head out when he gazed from the broken window a light flashed from a wrecked truck Craig pulled out his 9mm 1A from his holster and aimed at the source of light, Craig shot fire at the source of light and as he went closer to see what it was he saw the person he killed holding a Barrett mrad Sniper Rifle.
As he took his time staring at the guy with the rifle, he checked if it had any bullets, but only five. He took those and left, riding his bike, heading to the west; after five minutes on the road, the bike began to slow down as if it was out of gas. Craig got off his bike and started walking until he noticed a coyote; as he saw the coyote, he pulled out his 9mm 1A and shot it.
As he approached the now-dead coyote, he pulled out his Bushcraft knife and began to cut open the coyote, pulling out its meat and eating it. He didn't care if it came out of an animal he killed- or if the meat wasn't cooked; he had been starving. As Craig ate the raw meat from the coyote he just killed, he heard motorcycle noises coming from the east side.
As he looked, he saw a gang of seven motorcycle gangs. One of the gang noticed Craig eating meat from a dead coyote he gagged in disgust. "Look at this, he's eating roadkill." He pointed out as the others laughed. The other biker said. "That's all these filthy apes can eat, it's what they deserve after what they have done to our wonderful country." Craig stopped eating as he stared back at the white biker with a gray beard; he noticed that all the bikers were white and all wore the same jackets that had the letters D.W.C. on the back.
A female biker noticed what Craig was staring at and said. "Aww, he's looking at our jackets... maybe we should tell him what it means." Another white male biker said. "It stands for Down With Colors, which means we kill people like you. NIGROS WHO RUINED OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY." He shouted out as he got off his bike and marched toward Craig as if to hurt him, but when Craig got up, he blocked a punch from him and sent him a jab on the neck five times causing the white biker to collapse on the ground choking on his own blood.
As the other white bikers saw what Craig had done to one of their men, they all got out of their bikes and pulled out their weapons; Craig stared at the D.W.C. with dead eyes while pulling out his 9mm 1A and shot five of them with a single bullet. Leaving two in fear, as they saw their friends on the ground dead, they dropped their guns and put their hands up, showing that they had surrendered. Craig put away his 9mm 1A and dug through their pockets, checking if they got anything useful but he found nothing and continued to eat the dead coyote.
The two remaining bikers stared at Craig in fear, wondering what he'd do to them; one of the remaining bikers asked Craig if he was okay eating a dead coyote, even if it was raw. Craig looked at the biker but didn't say anything; the other biker asked if Craig wanted some real food in his belly, then they could take him to their place where they kept worm food, water, and a warm bed to sleep.
Craig looked at the two but didn't say anything as he took another bite out of the dead coyote not falling for one of their tricks. They warned Craig if their friends noticed that one of the members hadn't returned yet- they'd come searching for them, and if they saw that they were dead, they'd hunt every last one of his kind till they found the one who killed them.
Craig didn't pay any mind to the two as he continued to eat the dead coyote; by the time he finished, he took one of their bikes and drove off. As the two bikers saw him take off, they drove on their bikes and returned to their church, where the rest of the D.W.C. were hidden. Five minutes have passed as we see Craig continue riding the bike he took. He was getting a sudden pain in his stomach, and as he gritted his teeth, he slowly stopped the bike. As he got off his bike, he began vomiting. As Craig finished vomiting, he collapsed- moments later, Craig woke up to a bed, and when he looked around to see a woman sitting in a rocking chair, he jumped to grab his 9mm 1A but soon realized that his clothes were gone and all he had on was his underwear.
Craig stared at the woman, wondering what she was planning on doing to him; the woman looked at Craig and got up from her rocking chair as she went to a drawer and picked out some clothes for Craig. The woman left the clothes near the bed and left outside; Craig looked at the clothes and wore them-by the time Craig finished putting on the clothes, he took a look outside and saw that it was bright daylight.
Craig saw the woman picking up some crops the woman looked back at Craig. "Oh, you're here. Ok, just wait till I wash these up and I'll go make us some breakfast." Craig just stared at the woman, not saying a word; he looked around and saw that he was at a farm where there were five chickens and two cows; Craig saw that the woman who had saved his life was growing vegetables and picked them up so she could start cooking.
We now see Craig sitting at a table across from the woman as she places a plate of two eggs, six carrots, three tomatoes, and a glass of milk. "Well eat up now. You gotta need all that strength if you're going to work around here." The woman said as Craig looked at her without saying a word. "Oh, I haven't introduced myself, haven't I? Well, I guess I'll tell ya, My name is Stella Queen, and the place that you are in is my family's farm." Stella introduced herself to Craig, but Craig stayed quiet and looked at the food; Stella noticed and said. "Oh, don't worry about it, it's safe. I am the one who saved you, after all, so it wouldn't make any sense for me to try to poison you, now wouldn't it?"
Stella said as she took a bite of the carrots she made. Craig saw Stella eating as he was getting hungry, so he took a bite of the carrots and began eating the food as if he hadn't eaten real food in four years; Stella noticed Craig eating paste and replied. "I've noticed that you haven't eaten real food for years am I right?" Craig stared at Stella as she continued. "I looked at your vomit and figured you've been eating dead, rotten, or decayed food, and I can tell you it isn't healthy. You were close to dying; if it weren't for me, you would have been dead on the road."
Stella finished talking as she continued to eat her food; Craig stared at his food as he thought of what Stella just said. If it weren't for her, he would have been dead, Craig had finished his food and was about to leave before Stella stopped him. "Now, wait just a moment; you can't go anywhere yet." Stella grabbed Craig's hand and sat him back down. "You need time to recover, and to do that, you need plenty of food and rest-if you like you can help me around my farm until you are all better." Craig wasn't too sure whether to trust Stella, but he knew that she was right-so from that day, he stayed at the farm to help Stella & recover.

Meanwhile, with the two bikers that Craig let go, they arrived back at their church. They immediately ran inside, where they saw everyone praying to their God in silence; as soon as they both saw Theodore in the font, they confirmed to him what had happened to their friends in a panic. "THEODORE, THEODORE, THERE WAS THIS BLACK MAN A-AN-AND, HE-HE KILLED JIMMY, JESSIE, EMMA, CHRIS, AND JONAH." "YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN HIM; HE WAS CARRYING A GUN, A TYPE OF PISTOL, AND." Before one of them could finish what they were saying, Theodore shot one of them in the head, everyone around the church stayed silent as Theodore said. "So let me get this straight, a black guy killed your friends, and you two just ran?" The last member just stared at Theodore's loss for words. Before he could say anything, Theodore shot him as well.
Theodore got up from his chair and said to his fellow D.W.C. members. "MY BROTHERS, MY DEAR SISTERS, WILL WE LET THIS WHITE KILLER CONTINUE HIS MURDER SPREE!?" His fellow D.W.C. members shouted no as Theodore continued. "THEN TONIGHT WE WILL DELIVER THE LORD'S ORDERS AND SEND THIS WHITE KILLER BACK TO THE DEPTS OF HELL WHERE HE BELONGS!" His followers cheered as they all grabbed their knives and guns to hunt down the one who killed their fellow brothers and sisters.
One of Theodore's followers said to him. "I don't mean to question you nor the lord, but how are we going to find this man if you killed the two who have seen him last?" Theodore looked at his driver and said to him. "We don't need those two; remember, brother, the lord will lead us to the murderer." As Theodore said, the driver nodded his head and drove off with the others, searching for the guy who killed their fellow brothers and sisters.

Back to Craig, he is watching Stella milking the cow as if she is showing him how it's done. "Now watch carefully, as I'm expecting you to do the same one day. First, you need to prepare the udder by washing and drying it to ensure cleanliness and promote milk letdown. Then, use your thumbs and fingers method, gently squeeze the teats to release milk. After you finish milking, post-dipping the teats helps prevent infection." Craig watched and listened carefully as Stella demonstrated how to milk a cow. "Now do you see how easy it is?" Stella asked Craig as he still didn't say anything. Stella asked Craig if he could grab some eggs from the chicken coop; Craig went to the chicken coop, grabbed some eggs, and showed them to Stella; she saw that Craig had grabbed seven eggs. "That's good enough, now put them in the fridge, and help me pick up some vegetables from my garden." As Stella said, Craig put the eggs in the fridge and helped Stella pick some vegetables.
By the time both Stella and Craig finished picking out the vegetables, Stella asked Craig how he felt. Craig stared at Stella, not knowing what she meant. Stella explained to Craig that farming can call up a range of emotions, from satisfaction and connection to nature relieving stress and despair, the weather and the financial pressures can cause stress and mental health challenges, the sense of accomplishment from nurturing crops, the beauty of the natural world, and the connection to the food supply can also bring deep fulfillment to those around.
As Stella finished explaining to Craig how farming can change those around, she asked him again how he felt. Craig, of course, didn't say anything and just looked at the sunny sky. Stella smiled at this scene and told Craig to pick up the basket filled with the vegetables they picked and wash them in the kitchen sink, Craig washed the vegetables and placed each of them in a plastic container, Craig saw Stella reading a book as Stella noticed Craig's appearance she asked Craig if he would like to sit down and read a book with her-Craig picked out a book and began reading.

Theodore and his followers found their lost brothers and sisters' dead bodies, one of the followers searched through their bodies and saw a single bullet hole in each chest. One of the sisters saw a track and alerted Theodore. As he saw them, he ordered them to follow the track as it was leading to where Craigory was recovering.

Craig was having dinner with Stella; they were having roasted vegetables, with baked carrots, eggplants, mushrooms, reddish, and corn, with a glass of warm milk. Stella looked at Craig, enjoying the food, which made Stella smile. "Craig, have you thought of your plans when you finished recovering?" Stella asked Craig which made him confused as she continued. "Are you planning on heading back on the road when you finish your recovery? If so, where will you be going?" Craig hasn't thought of riding on the road as he didn't have anywhere else to go; all his life, he was just going from place to place, finding ways to survive.
Stella asked Craig if he would like to live on the farm with her Craig stared at Stella as if she were serious-Stella continued. "I mean it, you have nowhere to go, and if you continue riding on the road with nothing on your hands. So I believe it is best if you stay with me on this farm with plenty of food, water, milk, and a bed, all to maintain your health & stress." Craig thought for a moment, and before he could actually reply, a gunshot was heard from outside. As Craig and Stella went to check who it was, they saw twenty-seven people outside the front lawn. One of them called out for the black man for he needed to be punished for his crimes against the D.W.C members.
Craig saw them all wearing jackets with the same letters on the back, Stella told Craig to grab his gun as Stella was grabbing hers. Theodore waited long enough and sent four of his brothers to barge into the house; they did as they were told, and a gunshot was heard from inside the house-four men were down. As Theodore saw the one who shot his brothers through the window, he saw a white woman who was in her 50s holding a double-barrel shotgun.
Theodore ordered his followers to open fire. As everyone began to fire at the old woman's house, Stella and Craig flipped over the table for cover. As everyone had a ceasefire, both Craig and Stella waited for them to come in. As two women entered, Craig shot two of them in the head; Craig quickly ran to the living room as Stella shot three more from behind. Theodore ordered his followers to ceasefire as Stella came out of her house holding her double-barrel shotgun, aiming at the members, and began walking toward them firing. "YOU HAVE TRESPASSED ON MY PROPERTY (FIRE), YOU HAVE RUINED MY DINNER (FIRE), AND YOU ARE DESTROYING MY HOUSE (FIRE).
Theodore still told his followers to ceasefire as he was going to reason with Stella up close. "Calm now, ma'am, we are not here to hurt you nor destroy your property; we are simply here to punish the one who has killed our brothers and sisters." Stella didn't give a flying fuck about what they wanted and simply asked. "Punish him, how?" Theodore replied. "By whatever the god pleases to punish him." Stella stood frozen on her front porch as she began to giggle and then laughed at Theodore's stupidity. "You honestly think you're following the god's bidden? Killing all of those who are colored, and kept on saying you are doing this because your God told you to? You are incredibly stupid if you believe this is what God wanted, why do you think he created black people in the first place, huh? Look at all of what you white people have caused; this is America; it's supposed to be a home for freedom. All are welcome, no matter what skin or race, but I guess you've all forgotten that. And you all called yourselves Americans, YOU ALL ARE A BUNCH OF FAKE AMERICANS!" Theodore and the rest of the D.W.C. members listen to Stella's speech, but none seem convinced until Theodore asks Stella. "What does a Fake American mean exactly?" Stella shouted out. "NAZIS, YOU PEOPLE ARE A BUNCH OF NAZIS HIDING IN OUR BEAUTIFUL, AND DESTROYING IT COUNTRY!"
As Stella blurted out exactly what she said, Theodore pulled out a Ruger Blackhawk Revolver and fired at Stella making her fall backward. Craig witnessed the scene, frozen in gaze, and shouting. "NO!!!" Craig shot fire from the living room window and hit at least four of them, as they all fired back. Craig didn't have many bullets left and didn't know what to do until he had an idea-Theodore had shouted out for Craig to either come out and face the consequences for hurting God's children or they all come in and take him down by force, Craig has not responded in about five minutes and Theodore had ordered his remaining members to enter the house. As they all did, they pulled up their guns and looked around for Craig.
Craig was no wear to be found but one of the members saw that the stove was on at a high degree. As soon as a member went close to see what was inside the stove there, he opened it and saw five pieces of 45 ACP bullets, two pieces of 9MM bullets, seven 40 S&W bullets, nine pieces of 10MM bullets, and 380 ACP. As soon as he saw this he shouted for everyone to run but it was too late the stove was on 355°F and all of the bullets went off around the kitchen three members were killed as Craig came out of the shadow and pulled out his bushcraft knife and stabbed the female members in the back, grabbed her gun and shot remaining three.
Craig pulled his Bushcraft knife out of the female member's stomach. The woman was coughing out her own blood on the floor, and by the time Craig was about to leave the house, Theodore was standing in front of Craig, holding up his Blackhawk Revolver and pointing it in his face. Theodore stared at Craig and asked him. "Who are you?" Craig didn't reply as Theodore continued. "I know you can speak; you just chose not to; how are you surviving all this time? How can one man take down an entire army by himself? How are you still alive?" Craig stared at Theodore directly from his eyes and slowly replied.
"My name is Craigory Chronus; I am from South Central, where all of this madness began. My father and wife had died for something they hadn't done, and I was the only one to survive through that madness. There I pleaded to God to watch over my family and to guide me through this journey. I made it through hardships day and night; I searched for food and supplies to survive the road ahead. I fought for my survival and kept on walking with no plan... just me and the empty road."-Theodore said nothing and stared at Craig until he replied. "You've gone through a lot to survive all on your own, until now, that is. Your body must've reached its limits, and there you ended up here." Theodore continued. "You have gotten an old woman killed; you destroyed her home and killed my brothers and sisters." Craig quickly interrupted Theodore before he continued. "You killed Stella, you broke into her house, you got all of your brothers and sisters killed, you brought nothing but death and greet to those around you. And you have the balls to say it was all God bidding, it was never God bidding, it was all yours; YOU WERE NEVER A MAN OF GOD!"
Craig shouted out as he and Theodore continued to stare at each other without saying another word; Theodore chuckled at Craig's words and asked if he would like to pray to God to repent for all of his sins. Craig stayed silent. As Theodore was about to pull the trigger, a gunshot was heard. Theodore collapsed on the floor. Craig saw it was Stella who was holding her double-barrel shotgun one last time before she collapsed on the floor. Craig went to Stella, holding her head as she was heavily breathing. Stella looked at Craig one last time before saying. "Go... head to west... there you can find refuge where you can eat, sleep... (cough, cough) and do plenty of farming." Stella smiled as she spoke her last words.
Craig closed Stella's eyes as he carried her to her garden, where he dug a hole for her to be buried in; Craig closed his eyes and began praying for Stella. "Heavenly Father, creator of our world. Watch over Stella, as she does not deserve to be going out like this, for she deserves something much better. And lord, I am not asking for forgiveness, but I will do what I have to do to survive in this world." Craig stated his last words to God as he grabbed the remaining food supplies from Stella's house and continued his journey on the road heading West.
The End.
