The Byzantine Empire stood as a symbol of grandeur, authority, and unshakable security. But on the night the empire's first heir was born, the world began to fracture. Amidst the festivities and glowing crystal lanterns, a deadly arrow flew toward the newborn. Only one man acted—Tokisaki Uzen, a legendary general shrouded in cold silence and hidden scars. As three mighty empires clashed for dominance, a new legend was quietly being forged. *Legacy of Vera Noxs* is a tale of bloodlines, political shadows, and a truth far more complex than good and evil.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The Glass City, Shadows of Power

Amidst the triumph of the world stood a city that refused to bow to time—Bizantium, the heart of grandeur and the symbol of imperial supremacy that loomed over history. Towers of glass soared to the skies, slicing the clouds with their proud silhouettes. Buildings with transparent walls reflected the morning sun like heavenly crystals, as if the gods themselves had built them.

In this city, architecture was not just structure—it was a symbol of power. Every block, every pillar of glass and steel, carried tales of the Bizantium Empire's might. This city wasn't just magnificent. It was advanced, secure, and untouchable—ranked first among the world's three great empires, surpassing its eternal rivals: the Arcana Empire and the Ottoman Empire.

No wonder Bizantium was nicknamed "Terrahan", the city with the highest security rating among the twelve rice-bearing nations. A massive stage where politics, economics, and military strength danced in harmony laced with intrigue.

But Bizantium's power wasn't just in its walls of glass—it lay at the heart of its trade.

As a Trading City, Bizantium served as the hub for goods flowing in and out from every corner of the empire. Thirteen small kingdoms beneath the empire's shadow submitted not out of fear, but because they understood: trust in this city was worth more than gold. Bizantium's central market never slept. Carts from the north, airships from the east, and steel caravans from the south all converged into one point—the center of the world.

All of it bound by the Old Agreement—a sacred document uniting the thirteen small kingdoms in a holy trade alliance. No betrayal. No tariff wars. Only mutual protection, mutual support, and strengthened alliances under one banner: Bizantium.

Behind the walls of a majestic palace guarded by thousands of elite soldiers now stood the Emperor himself: Elden Noxs, the absolute ruler who ushered in a new era of stability and glory. By his side, Almariya Loksa, his first wife, pregnant with the first heir to the Bizantium throne—a child destined to inherit the world.

But power never stands alone.

On the other side of the world, the Arcana Empire still held onto its former glory. Known far and wide for its legendary Adventurer Guilds, the city never slept. Thousands of adventurers passed through its gates daily, chasing missions, monsters, and dreams. Once, Arcana was home to mercenaries, hunters, and mages. But times had changed.

Now, the guilds were breaking apart, power scattering. Small kingdoms began creating their own guilds, and even the major empires started establishing similar organizations. The popularity of Arcana's guilds gradually declined, overshadowed by other empires offering better, more luxurious facilities… especially Bizantium.

Bizantium didn't just offer adventurers a place—they pampered them. Weapons, armor, potions, even magic wands were freely provided. And all of this—was managed by one figure who had become an urban legend:

> Haruto.

A former general of the empire who retired after an embarrassing incident—wetting his pants during battle. But instead of drowning in shame, Haruto rose again as a crucial figure behind the rise of Bizantium's guilds. Known by the odd nickname "Haruto the Pisser", he is now the main supplier of equipment in the San Nait Guild, the central arsenal for adventurers.

If you mention Haruto's name among adventurers, they won't laugh—they'll stand and salute. Because they know that behind that silly name is someone who keeps them alive on the battlefield.

And under Bizantium's crystal sky...

a new war was brewing.

Not between armies—

but between legends.
