Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Brian and Riana's POV

Two months ago, "ugh," Riana woke up in the living room of what was now her home. She was startled and looked around. She turned and saw a handsome, large, broad, and muscular man, shirtless, with a crew cut and an earring, sleeping on his back next to her. Confused, she stood up, then walked around the house.

"Where am I?" she wondered to herself, feeling scared.

"Krieeek," she opened a door, and behind it was a room. Riana entered to look around the room, which only had a double bed, an antique dressing table, a writing desk, and a wardrobe. She stood in front of the dressing table then looked at herself in the mirror. She was shocked because her body looked fuller than before, her face also looked brighter, and her hair was thicker than before. After that, she saw two books on the table and immediately picked them up.

"Huh... a marriage... book? Me and Brian? Then where's Brian?" Riana wondered to herself.

When she saw the photo in the book, she realized that the man sleeping next to her in the living room was Brian. She immediately left the room and stood next to Brian.

"Hey, Bri... Bri... hey... Brian," Riana said, squatting next to Brian, trying to wake him up.

But Brian remained fast asleep and didn't open his eyes at all. Finally, Riana stood up again and jumped, landing with a sit on Brian's stomach. "Ohok," Brian immediately coughed and woke up.

"Ri? What are you doing?" Brian asked.

"Wake up first, something's weird here. Are we married? When did we get married?" Riana asked, showing him their marriage certificate.

Brian took the book from Riana's hand and opened it. Then he covered his eyes with his arm and looked at Riana, who was still sitting on his stomach.

"Can you get up first? I want to stand up," Brian said.

"Oh yeah, sorry," Riana replied, immediately moving away.

When Brian sat up, he noticed that Riana had become more beautiful and sexy. He touched Riana's cheek with his finger.

"What are you doing?" Riana said, swatting Brian's hand.

"How did you change? But I can still recognize you," Brian said.

"You too, go look in the mirror in the room first," Riana replied.

Brian stood up then went into the room. A moment later, he came out again with a confused look on his face.

"Did you see?" Riana asked.

"How is this possible? This is strange. I wake up looking like someone else, and we're married?" Brian asked.

"Yeah, that's how it is. I'm confused myself. Let's just go outside first and see what's out there," Riana suggested.

"Okay, I'll put on a shirt first," Brian replied, walking back into the room.

After that, they both went out and walked around the village, asking questions to other residents who seemed happy. They even met Felix and Lusi, who was pregnant. Both began to think that they were in heaven and had already died. Finally, they returned home and sat in the living room.

"So, what now?" Brian asked.

"Well, nothing much. We just live our lives. They all seem happy," Riana replied casually.

"Hmm... I see. So you think we're dead and now in heaven?" Brian asked.

"Seems like it. (Moving next to Brian) Bri, how did you become so handsome?" Riana asked.

"How would I know? But I admit, you've become really beautiful too," Brian replied.

They looked at each other, and their faces began to draw closer. They immediately kissed without realizing there was a thin purple mist spreading its aroma above them. Brian carried Riana and brought her into the room while still kissing. A month passed, and Brian and Riana truly felt unparalleled happiness. They were always together and seemed intimate, often walking around the village, greeting other residents. One day, as they climbed a fairly high hill to see the beautiful village panorama,

"Jleb," "haaaat," a sound of something piercing and someone screaming was heard. Both immediately looked for the source of the sound. It turned out that behind the trees was an open field covered in grass. In the middle of that field, a man dressed like a Japanese samurai warrior from the colonial era was kneeling on the ground in a samurai style. He pulled out a small knife and placed it in front of him solemnly. He bowed to the knife in front of him then rose again. He took his knife and drew it, then he took off his military uniform.

"Jleb," "haaaat," he stabbed the knife into his stomach and moved it to the left, splitting his abdomen.

The man immediately collapsed and fell. Seeing that, Brian and Riana immediately ran towards him, but when they wanted to touch the man, he suddenly rose again, and there was no wound on his stomach. The man turned to look at Brian and Riana with tears streaming down his face. He stood up and shouted in front of them,

"Koroshite, hayaku ie ni kaeritai (Kill me quickly, I want to go home)," he said with tears streaming down.

Brian and Riana, startled, backed away. It turned out the man was indeed from Japan and couldn't speak Indonesian.

"W-what does that mean?" Riana asked.

"I don't know, he's speaking Japanese," Brian replied.

"It means, 'Kill me quickly, I want to go home'," a man behind them replied.

Both immediately turned around in surprise. They saw a handsome man in his twenties, with brown skin, wearing mountain climbing attire, and with a black beard on his chin.

"Who are you?" Brian asked, shielding Riana behind him.

"My name is Rahman. The man behind you is from the colonial era. He's been here since I arrived and does the same thing every day, trying to commit suicide like a samurai," Rahman replied, pointing to the Japanese man behind Brian and Riana, who had already knelt back down, continuing his ritual with tears streaming down his face.

"W-what? He's been here since the colonial era?" Brian asked, shocked.

"Yes, you two seem new, right? How long have you been here?" Rahman asked.

"Around one month," Brian replied.

"Hmm, you've become husband and wife, right? Have you had sexual relations yet?" Rahman asked.

"W-what? Why are you asking that? Yes, we are husband and wife, and you shouldn't be asking us that. That's our private matter as husband and wife," Riana protested.

"Please answer honestly, or I won't continue talking to you," Rahman replied.

"Yes, we have. Why?" Brian asked.

"Every day?" Rahman asked.

"Almost," Brian replied.

"Hmm... wait a moment,"

Suddenly, Rahman moved forward and quickly pulled Riana's arm until Riana was in front of him. Brian, startled, immediately moved forward, but Rahman's palm stopped him. Rahman walked behind Riana, then he placed his palm on Riana's stomach from behind.

"Hey!" Riana shouted.

"What are you doing to my wife?!" Brian shouted.

"Okay, safe. Let's talk, follow me," Rahman said, pushing Riana back into Brian's embrace.

Rahman turned and walked towards the forest. Brian and Riana looked at each other. Curious, they followed Rahman into the forest. After passing through a narrow path squeezed between dense trees, they finally arrived at a hut in the forest. Rahman opened the hut door and invited them both inside. Brian and Riana were shocked to see a head with intestines and entrails below it hanging dead on the hut wall.
