Akashi had begun to cultivate more without using the mana heart technique, and he barely got anywhere, just seemingly a few drops of mana to go into his mana pill.
"How do I learn to control my mana?" I had asked Sage in hopes of something easy.
For now, I can control it for you, but I suggest you practice control on all the basic things first.
"But I know all the basics from the knowledge you gave me," I said, thinking to myself, Why is Sage acting stupid right now?
I gave you the knowledge, not the experience,
"What's the difference?" I ask Sage, but it never replies
I began to run over my shelter in the sand that i have lived in for 6 years now as I still had the small creature in my hand as I began to carve into the skin of it and continued to carve into it until it is nothing but meat as I began to pull the meat of the bone and throw it on a stone tablet that I carve and began to use as a pot to cook with.
After letting the meat cook for about 45 minutes, I took it off of the stone tablet and put it on another stone tablet, but this one was covered in tree bark to use as a stone plate.
I began eating it, pulling it into smaller pieces, then I already did as I grabbed it with my hands and ate like an animal with my bare hands.
I began to finish up my food and close my eyes to sleep.
Ergency, Soundwaves enhanced.
"Hurry up and drag them, we need more people to mine the mines on this island, it took us long enough to collect this many slaves that no one would notice," A voice said coming from above ground as I began to hear footsteps, sounding like around 36 people and 3 standing.
I began to get up from my bed as I walked toward the makeshift stairs leading above ground and snuck behind a tree, as the voice began to say words I hadn't heard in a while.
"Head Count," the voice said as it began to each of the slaves. I snuck my way in as the last slave by putting myself beside the slave that was closest to the tree I was hiding behind.
"Starn, this said thirty-six, right?" The voice said as he reached me and looked down at the paper.
"Yeah, why?" Another voice said, coming from the ship.
"Then why are there thirty-seven?" The voice had asked, kinda confused and worried.
"Probably a Miss Count, just get them to work dumbass" The voice of who i assume would be starn rang out as he yelled at the worker.
I had succeeded in joining the group of slaves that had just come to the island. The man began to lead us towards a mine that I was familiar with. I was familiar with a lot of things on this island since I was here for so long.
"So who are you?" a voice coming from behind me asked.
"Akashi," I had answered while looking behind me, which caused me to get hit in the shoulder with the sheath of a blade.
"Move forward, you will have plenty of time to talk while you are in the mines together," The guard who was called Starn earlier said.
I began to shut my mouth until we got to the mines, and when it was open, we were pushed in.
Mines and handed pickaxes, and then a group of people carrying swords walked behind the three that led us here, as one stood in front of the entrance to the mines, and the others seemingly left to go somewhere else.
"So, why did you do it?" The same man from earlier asked me once again, but this time, they were all looking at us.
"Do, what?" I asked
"You were already here and snuck beside me to count yourself as one of us slaves," The guy said as the rest of the slaves all began to gasp and murmur to themselves on why I would do it.
"I've been stuck here," I told them honestly.
"So, what does that have to do with? Why do you group up with slaves that are bound to die after we complete this?" The guy said with a look on his face, I couldn't tell which emotion it was, but I could tell that he wasn't too happy.
"I've been stuck here since I turned 4 years old," I had once again answered truthfully while eyeing the door every once in a while to make sure the guard wasn't listening.
"How old are you right now?" a different voice asked. It was a softer one, I don't know if it was cause it was a female that asked or why, but I enjoy hearing a voice that wasn't either robotic or manly.
"I'm 10 currently," I answered as I saw the guard begin to turn around, so I pushed the man back more out of view as I began to mine with the pickaxe until the guard turned back around.
