Just as Kurenai Yuhi was basking in the warm, masculine presence of Ryosuke, she suddenly felt a much stronger, more intense sensation wash over her—one that instantly jolted her out of her daze.
Her eyes widened in shock.
It was too much. Too fast.
She had never gone that far with anyone before. Her instincts kicked in, and she quickly reached out to stop Ryosuke, her voice trembling with nervousness.
"Ryosuke… I'm not ready yet."
Ryosuke, whose body was still radiating an almost primal masculine aura, paused. His mind, so close to being overtaken by desire, was suddenly forced to cool down by her words.
Though he really wanted to continue, seeing Kurenai's pleading expression made him stop.
As much as he wanted to complete his "Many Children, Much Fortune" System task right then and there, he knew such a thing couldn't be forced. It had to be mutual.
Besides, they'd already crossed a significant threshold tonight. Given how naturally their physical intimacy had progressed, taking it further in the future was inevitable. There was no need to rush it.
Ryosuke pulled back.
Kurenai immediately felt relief wash over her. She still held close to him, but now with more ease, less tension.
They remained in that tight embrace for a while longer, wrapped in each other's warmth. The softness Ryosuke was enjoying… well, he could live off that feeling for a year.
Two hours later, Kurenai finally reached her limit. Her breathing ragged, face flushed, she gently pleaded:
"Ryosuke, let's stop for tonight…"
If they continued any longer, she feared she'd lose all composure. Things were moving fast—too fast. Their relationship should progress steadily, not in a single overwhelming burst.
Ryosuke was perfectly satisfied. His body and spirit felt completely uplifted. Then suddenly—
[Ding! Your mind is extremely euphoric. Chakra increased by 0.1 units.]
Ryosuke froze in surprise.
He had been so focused on physical training and body refinement that he'd almost forgotten the other critical element for a ninja: chakra.
Even if his current taijutsu was close to matching Might Guy's, unlocking the full power of Eight Gates still demanded large reserves of chakra. Without sufficient chakra, those later gates would be impossible to open effectively.
It reminded him of Rock Lee—during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Lee could only open up to the sixth gate, unlike Might Guy, who reached the eighth. The reason? Lee's chakra reserves were too low.
Not to mention, all jutsu—including the Sharingan—relied on chakra. No chakra meant no ninjutsu, no genjutsu, no advanced combat. It was foundational.
This system reward of 0.1 chakra might not sound like much, but to put it in perspective, it was about one-tenth the chakra reserve of a weakened Kakashi with Sharingan.
All from just this much euphoria?
Then what if he went all the way? The reward could be even greater.
Although Ryosuke felt deeply satisfied, he realized that they hadn't even reached the emotional or physical peak yet. That meant even better returns awaited in the future.
He turned and looked at Kurenai again, eyes smoldering with intent.
Clearly, advancing with Kurenai would benefit both of his systems.
Even if he couldn't guarantee pregnancy from one try, repeated attempts would surely increase the chances.
Kurenai, sensing the shift in Ryosuke's gaze, suddenly tensed again. A bit nervously, she said:
"Ryosuke… tonight's enough, okay?"
"Next time… when I'm really ready, we can talk about that..."
She was genuinely worried he might lose control and pin her down here and now.
Not that she would outright reject it—but something that important needed emotional readiness, not impulsiveness.
Ryosuke looked at her flushed face and didn't press the matter.
"Mm. Then we'll wait for next time."
She exhaled in relief.
"Ryosuke, I need to go home."
Ryosuke gave her a warm smile.
"Of course. I'll walk you back."
She nodded.
When they reached her home—a wooden house tucked along a quiet street—the roads were deserted.
Ryosuke left her at the doorstep, then turned to head back to the Uchiha compound.
Kurenai, still floating in a daze of mixed emotions, stepped inside.
Only to find—her mother sitting stiffly on the living room couch, expression unreadable.
Kurenai's heart skipped a beat.
She'd been out late, wandering with a boy. And while her mother didn't seem to disapprove of Ryosuke, if she realized just how far things had gone…
Kurenai quickly tried to steady herself and asked:
"Mom… why are you still up?"
Her mother's expression shifted slightly—somewhere between worry, exasperation, and resignation. She let out a long sigh.
She had long noticed her daughter spending time with Uchiha Ryosuke. If it had been any other Uchiha, she might have objected. But Ryosuke was different.
He didn't carry the arrogance that plagued many in his clan. He was respectful. Mature.
Tonight, her daughter's slightly disheveled clothing and loose sash were more than enough proof of what had occurred—or almost occurred.
She had been young once too. She knew.
Looking Kurenai over seriously, she asked:
"Looks like you and Ryosuke are together now?"
Kurenai blushed but didn't want to lie.
"Yes… Mother, you don't object, do you?"
Her mother nodded slowly, as if it all made sense now. Then she probed further.
"Did you two… go all the way?"
After all, they'd been out alone for hours. It was a reasonable assumption.
Kurenai shook her head firmly.
"No… we stopped. When it was about to happen, I told him I wasn't ready."
Her mother was slightly surprised.
So Ryosuke had self-control? That was rare. Most young men couldn't stop themselves once desire took over.
Her respect for him quietly rose.
He wasn't like those hormone-driven teenagers.
He reminded her of Kurenai's father—a man who had waited patiently until she was ready.
Softening her tone, she said:
"Of course I don't oppose your relationship. I'm not some old-fashioned woman looking to pick a husband for you."
"But… have you thought about how to deal with Asuma Sarutobi?"
Asuma…
The son of the Third Hokage.
One of the most powerful men in the entire village.
If Kurenai mishandled this situation, it could bring serious trouble for both her and her mother in the future.
