" Ack…!" Zhu Yin screamed out as a middle aged woman kept hitting her hard with a stick.
Bloody lines littered the white inner robe Zhu Yin donned.
" How dare you?! You Psychopath!" The woman shouted angrily as she raised the stick.

" What if I took the money for your food?!"

" Can hundred taels of silver be enough for both of us?!"

" Can't it be my compensation for taking care of you?! Crazy girl! Hmph!" The woman sneered at the crouched bloody figure on the ground, before walking away.
Zhu Yin's body couldn't hold up any longer and collapsed. Her heavy tear filled eyes stared at the stars in the sky.
' Why ?! Why did she have her memory back now ?!!! ' Zhu Yin lamented. She had remembered her past life just now. The beating she had just received had more or less been the trigger.

Days after , Yu Ming fainted, and the result was Zhu Yin. She was pregnant!
Zhu Qian never looked at her , but she was happy. She had her hopes up concluding that Zhu Yin would be the one that would bring Zhu Qian closer to her.
Six months into the pregnancy, the first wife had her child , a boy.
Then Yu Ming almost lost her child, and became shaken. She kept repeating that it wasn't an accident, that someone wanted her baby dead. She became paranoid, and kept everyone away from her including, her father.
When Yu Ming gave birth, the baby was a female. Although Zhu Qian never showed an ounce of care , Yu Ming was happy. This was the fruit of their love!
" My mother was really crazy. But all I know about the incident that led to my birth was from those who bullied me." Zhu Yin said with a smile on her face. Her mother was really something else.
When she was drugged, and became crazy, Yu Ming had journeyed to find a cure for her . For five years now , no one had seen her . It was unknown whether she was alive or not.
" It's really tragic. I am very sure his first wife had a hand in this. " Zhu Yin sighed. Her body was battered.
" It's great that it's just five years, else it would have been hard ."And she lives away from prying eyes. No one would suspect anything if she changed all of a sudden.
" Let's get back everything we are owed. " Zhu Yin slowly stood up despite the agonizing pain that wrecked her body.
She slowly walked towards her room. Her stomach rumbling, in protest.
" Let's get healed first. We would have anything we want tomorrow. " Zhu Yin stroked her stomach. As if it could understand her, it became silent.
Opening the door to her room, she was instantly hit by the dusty humid air in the room.
The room was simple and dusty. It was like no one had been living in it for years.
" How come I didn't get sick with all this dirt?" Zhu Yin mumbled as she dispersed the dusty air around her.
She slowly walked in, and closed the door behind her, rendering the room dark.
She made her way in the dark, with familiarity. Getting the flint from somewhere, she lit the candles, brightening the room.
She walked towards the bed, and crouched down, pulling a small brown wooden box.
" Despite my craziness, I still had the sense to keep precious materials away from prying eyes. " Zhu Yin chuckled.
She placed the box on the table, and opened it. Inside were some white stripes of clothes , and different small coloured porcelain jars.
" This should be enough. " She picked a green jar out of the box.
Her dainty hand covered the entirety of the jar.
The water in her wooden tub was ice cold. Zhu Yin opened the green jar , and dumped the content into the tub. What poured out of the jar was a white powdered substance.
The white powder disappeared in the water, releasing a strong herbal scent.
Zhu Yin stepped out of her inner robe, and climbed into the tub. Slowly immersing herself in it , until every part of her body disappeared in the water except her head.
Thirty minutes later , Zhu Yin was sweating heavily. Her face was very pale, and her lips were tightly bitten on to.
" T-his… is very potent. Maybe I shouldn't have poured everything. " It was painful when she got inflicted with the injuries, and now the healing was also painful.
An hour later , Zhu Yin stepped out of the tub, and stopped in front of the mirror.
" Wow…it really did work wonders. Even the old scars have completely disappeared. " Zhu Yin admired her skin which had become as smooth as an egg.
No sign of her ever being scarred or injured.
" I now understand why he still sends my allowance. He is afraid of my grandfather. "
Zhu Yin wore another white robe , letting her silky hair fall behind her.
Her grandfather hadn't been around when she was poisoned. If not, she wouldn't be here.
Out of all the pills he left them, there was none for mental illness. Her mother left all these to her before leaving. With her illness, she still knew how to differentiate between good and bad.
It hadn't been easy for them, both mother and daughter. But they had survived.
" Alright. I should get started. "
Zhu Yin changed the covers of the bed, and sat crisscrossed. With a serene mind and atmosphere, she closed her eyes.
