A reward delivered right to his door? Of course Su Bai wasn't going to say no.
Quick as lightning, he slammed his hand down on the "Yes" button!

Lines of blue text kept flashing before Su Bai's eyes.
The cold, robotic voice of the system was now music to his ears!
Then—with a soft "pop!"—a Poké Ball fell in front of him.
A small red Pokémon with transparent wings floated out from it, circled Su Bai twice, then zipped straight into the shop's cash register.
Su Bai blinked, and then burst out laughing in pure delight.
"It's real! And I even got a free cashier!"
Rotom, a highly intelligent Pokémon, was absolutely perfect for that role.
This system may have arrived late—but man, was it considerate!
"A Mage? Forget it. Pokémon are way cooler!"
Arceus, the god who created the universe.
Rayquaza, reigning in the heavens.
Necrozma, the shining overlord of Ultra Space.
Even Celebi and Palkia—Pokémon that control time and space—are beings of pure rule-defying power!
Compared to that, even the most powerful awakened warrior seemed ordinary.
"Thank goodness I didn't awaken into some job class!"
Su Bai suddenly remembered what the system had said earlier.
The activation had two conditions:
•Inheriting the pet shop.
•Turning eighteen.
If he had awakened- Mage or not, he likely wouldn't have chosen to come back and inherit this dusty old store.
After all, what transmigrator wouldn't chase a legendary life in a fantasy world?
Settle down as a boring pet shop owner? No thanks!
Just thinking about it made Su Bai break into a cold sweat.
"Whew... Lucky I kept my promise to my old man..."
Still rattled, Su Bai slammed his hand on the table—CRACK!
A corner of the solid wooden desk snapped off like tofu!
"...HUH?! What the—"
He stared at his hand in disbelief.
"This must be the 'physical boost'?! That's a huge boost!"
He flexed his hand, still looking at it in confusion.
It looked just as slender as before—no bulky muscles, no golden aura—but the strength packed inside it was real.
As someone who hadn't awakened, Su Bai had always been healthy, sure, but nowhere near superhuman.
Breaking a solid desk with a single slap?
Even a D-rank Warrior class couldn't do that—at least not without some serious effort.
"Well... I guess I'll have to be more careful now. Can't be smashing the shop furniture on accident…"
He gently picked up the broken piece of wood and set it back on the table.
Then his eyes returned to the glowing system interface.
Floating on-screen were:
– Three glowing white Commemorative Balls
– One green-and-white Friend Ball
– And a neatly bound Pokédex
He tapped the Pokédex icon. As expected, most of the Pokémon were greyed-out silhouettes.
Clearly, no entries would be fully visible until their species appeared in the world.
He tapped the "Unlocked" section, and Rotom's original form popped up, complete with detailed info.
"This is amazing!"
"A fully searchable Pokédex... finally brought into reality!"
Any veteran Pokémon player would've been moved to tears.
The in-game Pokédex had always been notoriously clunky—often unsearchable, unfiltered, and full of frustrations.
Even in the latest games like Scarlet and Violet, you couldn't search by type or even sort entries properly.
But this system's Pokédex?
Every filter, every search option—it had it all.
"This system gets it."
While marveling at the UI, Su Bai reached for the Friend Ball.
Rotom was clearly the system's pre-installed assistant—but what about this one?
The Friend Ball felt smooth and cool in his hand. Instinctively, he pressed the center button and tossed it forward.
With a flash of light, the ball opened—and the Pokémon inside appeared before him.
Su Bai's eyes widened in pure, unfiltered joy.
"It's THIS Pokémon?!"
"System, you absolute legend!"
