Chapter 7 - Untold pain

As soon as Deffo, trembling with fear, nodded his head

His mother and father, overwhelmed with joy, wrapped him in a tearful embrace.

They couldn't believe it.

After all these years…

Doma..the celestial being worshipped by millions of Delltanoss...had come down not for a prayer, not for a prophecy…

…but to meet their child.

Their Deffo.

"We are so proud of you, my son…"

"You have done something no one else ever could…"

Even the revered Hobo Norl Fiton and Hobo Nor Sibion stepped forward with solemn reverence.

"Tomorrow, you shall be part of the Fesutor Ceremony," they declared.

"You will stand under the descent of Mythimush himself. We are honored."

---

The Next Morning

The divine grounds below the Crystal Tree began to glow with energy.

Slowly, Delltanoss from across the lands gathered, flooding the sacred valley.

Thousands.

All waiting. All breathless.

Their eyes fixed on the horizon.

But when Hobo Nor Sibion and Norl Fiton appeared..with Deffo beside them...

The silence shattered into venom.

"Get him out!"

"He is impure!"

"He will ruin the sacred rite!"

Roars of hatred. Faces twisted with anger.

The same crowd that praised the stars now cursed a child under them.

Even though the Hobos stood firm, even though they tried to keep the peace ..

no one was more wounded than Deffo himself.

His eyes brimmed. His hands shook.

And then..he broke.

He pulled his hand away from Nor Sibion's and ran.

---

The Cave of Echoes

His footsteps echoed in pain.

.."Doma!" he screamed.

"Doma… take me away! I can't do this anymore!"

And from above..Doma descended like a storm.

This time, not gentle.

This time, not subtle.

Even the air around trembled as his radiant wings shattered the sound barrier.

In the great crystal sky above, where many celestial Doma sat in deep meditation

one empty circle remained.

Doma's place.

But now… he was in the cave.

Deffo collapsed into his arms, crying uncontrollably,

years of silent hurt pouring from him like a broken dam.

And then…

The cave itself cracked.

A deep rupture tore across the sacred stones.

A fissure glowing with a thousand lights…

Then two cracks…

Then four…

Then thousands.

---

Deffo (whispering):

"Take me away, Doma… somewhere far… just you and me."

Doma looked up.

Without a second's pause, he lifted Deffo onto his back

and with a single burst of divine energy, shattered through the cave ceiling

and launched straight into space.

Empty space.

Endless silence.

Yet Deffo still wept.

Behind him, Doma's tail sparkled...not black,

but a flowing rainbow of ethereal light…

a comet, blazing across the void.

---

Back in the valley, the fissure had now reached the ceremonial platform.

Panic.

Confusion.

Fear.

"It's that cursed boy's fault!" someone screamed.

And that was the final blow.

Deffo's parents, who had held their silence too long, broke.

Hobo Nor Sibion (roaring):

"Enough! Enough of this shame!"

"If my greatness must come at the cost of my son's dignity

then I shall no longer be great."

She put down the crown of divine flowers that she wore on her head.

"I resign. From this very moment

I am no longer your Hobo."

And silence fell.

Not out of peace…

…but out of guilt.
