"You know, I know elves were vile creatures but this is just unacceptable" Nyra said as she tightened her hold on Maisie who was shaking her head frantically.
"Don't do something you'd regret, you dumb fae. Put me down" Maisie said as Nyra's eyes moved towards Maisie's long pointed ears, then to her dagger.
A large grin slowly made it's way to her lips.
"I always wondered what cutting off an elves ear would be like" Nyra said, raising her dagger, she made swift cut just at the top of Maisie's left ear.
"Y-you bitch!" Maisie screamed as the pointed part of her ear slowly dropped to the floor as blood gushed out, unlike elves, fae's
had light red blood but elves had deep red blood, almost black.
"That's just a lesson, try this with me next time and I'll kill you" Nyra said about to drop Maisie to the floor when the dungeon door opened and the guard who let Maisie in stared at the two lady's in shock, his eyes slowly moving to the piece of flesh on the floor.
"Don't you dare move" The guard said as he immediately rushed in, taking Maisie away from Nyra. He looked at Maisie and saw that she had already passed out from pain.
The guard glared at Nyra for a while before walking out of the room. Nyra just rolled her eyes as she stuffed the knife back into her pocket. She had never liked the idea of having female friends and this was one of the reasons.
She shifted away from the spot that had blood on the floor and just stayed in a corner waiting for Aeris to come down and get her. She knew he would punish or hurt her but anything to get out of this dungeon.
Later, the dungeon door opened again and the two guards walked into the room looking at Nyra with nothing but pure disgust. "The King wants to see you, you're being held here as a prisoner and you still have the audacity to hurt someone?"
One of the guards, named, Elis spoke as he yanked Nyra up from the floor. Nyra didn't say anything and just let herself get manhandled. They dragged her to the throne room where Aeris was already seated on his throne looking down upon her.
Nyra looked around the room and was mesmerized, it had been a long time she had seen a castle of this beauty. Whatever she was going to do now, would determine if her plan was actually going to work.
"Leave us" Aeris's eyes were focused on Nyra, he was so angry that he thought he would walk up to her and strangle her. The look of mockery and mischief in Nyra's eyes was adding to his anger.
"I thought you were sensible enough to know when to give up? Maisie came to see you and the next thing you could do is cut off her ear?" Aeris roared out in anger, the echo in his voice made Nyra look up at him with a small smirk.
"At least I didn't kill her, you have plans to kill me when I have no idea whatsoever of my crime" Nyra said but Aeris wasn't even pleased with what she was saying.
"I know how Maisie can be at times but I'll give you on more chance. Kneel in front of me and admit to your mistake, then I'll let you go" Aeris said, his tone calm but still had that authoritative tone to it.
Nyra looked at her feets then back up at Aeris. She would never kneel to an elf, not now, not ever. She looked around the room then back at Aeris.
"Why should I kneel? Did you know the things she walked into that filthy dungeon to say? Okay, I admit I stepped into your land without permission but what exactly is my crime?" Nyra brushed her hair away from her face, she probably smelt real bad but it wasn't time for that...yet.
Aeris looked at Nyra, he never liked fae's and she was making him hate them even more. She was supposed to get executed in two days or two for murder. Yes, he planned to charge her with that so he could find an excuse to kill her without being questioned.
"You kneel, because I am your King!" Aeris stood up, staring down at Nyra as he took slow steps down from the platform were the throne was kept.
"King? You aren't my King, you are the king of elves, I have a mission in this land and that's what I'm going to do exactly" Nyra said and in an instant, Aeris had grabbed her throat lifting her off the ground.
Nyra kicked her legs frantically in the air as she tapped on his hand. "L-drop me down, this is assault and you know it!"
Aeris didn't say anything, he just held her in place making sure she didn't pass out but he made sure she felt the pain of being strangled. "Guards!"
He called out and the guards who had left the room to give them some privacy were shocked when they saw Aeris on the verge of strangling Nyra.
"Make her kneel, then after that, give her a hundred lashes of the whip" Aeris said as he dropped Nyra to the floor, Nyra fell back on her knees just in time and a smirk formed on aeris's face.
"Did you just ask them to whip me?" Nyra asked but she couldn't take any of this. She needed to get out of here before she finally gets killed.
She looked at the large window by the corner, she looked at Aeris then the guards. Forcing herself to stand up, she darted towards the window leaving the guards and Aeris shocked.
Nyra immediately curled into a ball, using her dagger to smash the glass, before jumping out the window, she noticed Aeris staring at her from where he stood.
"I'll be back to repay my debt" Nyra mouthed as she winked at Aeris allowing herself to keep falling.
