25 Years had passed since that day .
In the city of light (Nova Lumina)
The city of Nova Lumina was filled with lights and floating cars. It looked beautiful, but life wasn't easy for everyone. Moon and Kai now lived in a small flat in the middle zone — not in the slums, but not rich either.
They used to belong to the great Alhuwalia Clan, but 25 years ago, they were thrown out. Ashok Alhuwalia himself had removed them from the clan, saying they had no potential. Since then, they never told anyone who they really were.
Now, they worked in a small restaurant. Moon was a waiter, and Kai worked as a part-time chef. Both had only done basic education — just enough to live a normal life.

"Bro, finish your shift fast. We need to go get rations," Kai said while packing up boxes in the kitchen.
Moon wiped his hands. "Yeah, and today we celebrate too. Birthday boys, huh?"
Kai smiled. "Let's eat something good tonight."
They both left work and walked to the local market. Neon signs blinked all around. Robots moved supplies, and shops played ads in every language.
At a meat shop, they saw a special sale: Aquatic Beast Meat – Planetary Level. It was a rare beast from the Shifting Expanse.
(Note- Shifting Expanse is a separate dimension which you can reach through the entrance which opens in a portal . People go there to become strong by hunting beasts .

"Let's take two pieces," Moon said.
"Are you sure? It's expensive," Kai asked.
"It's our birthday. Let's enjoy it."
They bought the meat and walked home, talking and laughing. For a moment, life felt normal.

But when they reached their building, everything changed.
Their things were thrown outside — bags, clothes, even Moon's old gloves.
"What the hell?" Moon said.
Their landlady, Mrs. Talrana, stood there with a new man beside her — big arms, cyber tattoos glowing.
"You two are out," she said rudely.
"What? We paid rent today," Kai replied.
"Doesn't matter. I got a new tenant who pays more. Stronger too. Fights in the arena. You two are just weak cooks."
"This is wrong. We have a contract," Moon said, angry.
"Go cry to someone who cares," she said, smiling.
The new tenant laughed. "They look soft. Want me to push them out?"
Moon stepped forward. "Try it."
Kai quickly pulled him back. "Leave it. Not worth it."
They packed what little they had and walked away silently.

Later, sitting on a bench under a glowing streetlight, Moon looked at the wrapped meat.
"So much for our birthday."
Kai looked at him. "We still have this. And each other."
Moon gave a small laugh. "You sound like an old movie."
They both looked up at the night sky.
"Do you think Ashok even remembers us?" Kai asked.
Moon shook his head. "No. To them, we're nobodies. But one day, they'll remember."
He clenched his fists.
"We are not weak. We are Voidborn."
Moon doesn't know why he called them voidborn but it is what is .
Now they have decided to become strong or die while becoming strong .
Somewhere above, the Shifting Expanse waited.
