Sailing on the burning sea of dreams

Stormy weather thunder claps in the distance as lightning illuminates the sky. A pregnant woman and her husband are dying and on the run. They stop at the shore of the island to catch their breath as Emily pulls his arm and says "It's time.". So Charles lays her down as he rips the baby out of her womb. He puts his shirt in her mouth trying to stop her screaming as the baby is born. His name Danker D. Garso. As Emily gets the shirt out of her mouth she asks "Charles can I hold him one time before we die please?". As she asks she reaches one hand out, the other not in sight. As she reaches into a pocket in the back of her dress with the hidden hand. He gives Emily her child. After a minute he knows the people chasing them are getting way to close so he reaches over to help his wife get up. But as he turns to grab her, he sees her shoving something in the child's mouth. He shouts at her saying "What the hell do you think you're doing to him?" As he quickly covers his own mouth because he knows he just gave their position away because he hears shouts saying "they're over here sir." He quickly ducks down throwing sticks mud and leaves together to make a basket for the child. Charles turns to his wife to see her crying hugging and kissing her son for the last time. Charles grabs Garso and places him gently in the basket with a note that reads "please take care of this boy wherever he may land, his name Danker D. Garso.". In very clean handwriting for somebody getting chased. He places the basket in the water wishing the best of luck to the basket and the boy inside. As he gives the basket a good shove he and his wife surrender getting shot down on the spot. The noise leaves the baby crying through the night until he makes it to shore asleep and cozy.
