In the world that we are in now, what you are gives you your power.
At the rock bottom, we have wolves.
WOLVES often work as slaves; they have very little power and money. They are, in other words, peasants.
Next, we have humans.
HUMANS can also be slaves. They mostly have low to mid-paying jobs. They are, in other words, commoners.
Then, we have elves.
ELVES often have high-paying jobs. Most have some ties to royalty and have weak or mid-level magic. They are nobility.
At the absolute top, we have vampires.
VAMPIRES are royalty. They have everything served to them on a golden platter, literally and figuratively. They have loads of money, power, and magic, live perfect lives, and have the luxury of comfort.
