## Hazel's POV
My heart raced as Sebastian's lips moved against mine. The intensity of our connection was something I'd never experienced before—not with Alistair, not with anyone. My fingers tangled in Sebastian's hair as the kiss deepened.
When we finally broke apart, breathing heavily, I looked into his eyes. They were dark with desire, but also filled with concern.
"Sebastian," I whispered, my voice trembling slightly. "I want more."
His brow furrowed. "Hazel, your wrists—"
"Are fine," I insisted, placing my palm against his cheek. "I want this. I want you."
Sebastian searched my face. "Are you sure this isn't just a reaction to what happened with Alistair? I don't want you to regret anything."
The question stung, but I understood his concern. Instead of answering with words, I leaned forward and kissed him again, slowly and deliberately. When I pulled back, I looked directly into his eyes.
"This has nothing to do with him. This is about us. About me choosing you."
