## Hazel's POV
My breath caught in my throat as Alistair's fingers traced up my leg. Panic surged through me, and I reacted on pure instinct. I kicked out with both bound feet, catching him square in the chest.
"Get away from me!" I screamed.
He stumbled backward, surprise flashing across his face before it twisted into rage.
"Still fighting me, Hazel?" he snarled, advancing again. "After everything I've done for you?"
I struggled against the restraints, feeling them bite deeper into my wrists. "What you've done TO me, not FOR me!"
Alistair lunged forward, pinning my legs down with his weight. His eyes were wild, unrecognizable. This wasn't the man I'd once loved. This was a stranger wearing his face.
"You used me," he hissed, his face inches from mine. "Six years together, and the moment something better came along, you jumped ship."
"That's not what happened and you know it!"
