Synopsis
"My name’s Jax Lee." Everyone’s born with a system. Everyone... except me. No rank. No class. Nothing. I was the glitch in their perfect world — bullied, broke, forgotten. Until I walked into a portal alone... and came back alive. Now? Even the strongest system users are watching their backs. Because I’m not supposed to exist. But here I am — stealing skills, breaking rules... And rewriting everything they thought was impossible.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — Sync Beyond Shadows

🎮 Scene 1 — 7:32 AM | Red Portal, Sector 9 | LIVE FEED

A thick red mist crawled across the battlefield. Static buzzed in the air as five system users stepped through the glowing rift. The terrain was cracked and cursed—jagged stones, dead trees, and veins of pulsing crimson light ran under their feet.

Then the earth shook.

From the far side of the ruins, a massive five-headed serpent slithered into view—each head glowing with a different elemental hue. It hissed, and hundreds of smaller serpents spilled from the rocks like a wave.

> SYSTEM ALERT

"BOSS IDENTIFIED: HYDRASKIN (Five-Headed Variant)"

"Threat Level: RED-CLASS"

💥 Team BRAVO-9

Do Kyun (Tank) — Team Leader

Min Jae (Assassin)

Seo Rin (Mage)

Hana (Healer)

Ji Woo (Marksman)

---

> Do Kyun:

"No one dies today. Formation B. I'll take the front!"

> Min Jae (clicks tongue):

"Left flank's mine. Eyes open."

> Seo Rin:

"Frost Net channeling… two seconds."

> Hana (nervously):

"I'll stay close—don't rush in too far."

> Ji Woo:

"Last clip loaded. Let's make it count."

---

Do Kyun charged first, slamming his shield into the center head—it barely flinched. Venom spewed from the green-scaled head. Min Jae blinked behind it and slashed upward.

> Min Jae:

"Soft spot—under the jaw!"

The monster howled. Ji Woo's bullets hit the side head, but bounced off.

> Ji Woo:

"Scales are too damn thick—aim for the joints!"

The tail swung wide.

CRASH.

Ji Woo was flung against the wall.

> Hana (screaming):

"Ji Woo!"

Golden light burst from her hands.

> SYSTEM:

"Heal Successful. Battery at 58%."

---

Seo Rin raised her staff and fired off a freezing arc. Two of the heads locked in place—crystallized. Min Jae dashed again, blade slicing through the blue head's eye.

> Do Kyun (gritting teeth):

"Left side—keep pressure!"

Suddenly, the ground shattered. Smaller snakes poured in.

> Seo Rin:

"I'll clear the mob—finish the boss!"

She unleashed flame, burning dozens of the creatures. But then—

A shockwave pulsed from the monster's main head.

BOOM!

Do Kyun collapsed, blood pooling under him.

> Hana (panicking):

"Do Kyun—get up, please!"

> SYSTEM:

"Sync Level Critical. Auto-Eject: DISABLED."

Min Jae's eyes lit up—his system entering overdrive.

> Min Jae (shouting):

"Almost there—cover me!"

He sprinted up the beast's back, plunging his dagger into the glowing white skull. Blood sprayed like a geyser.

Seo Rin hurled her final lightning strike into the last writhing head.

The beast collapsed.

🎮 Scene 2 — 8:00 AM | District 13 | Jax Lee's Apartment

The faucet leaked. Plink. Plink.

Jax sat hunched on a torn mattress, pulling a hoodie over yesterday's bruises. The walls were thin. The silence, thinner.

No one called for him. No one cared if he was late.

> Jax (thinking):

"Same old morning. Same old ghost."

He grabbed a dry piece of bread, chewed once, tossed the rest.

Outside, the sky flickered with holographic ads—new raid gear, top guilds, system tournaments. One clip replayed footage of the Red Portal beast falling.

Jax looked up, eyes narrowing.

> Jax (muttering):

"...Someday."

His phone buzzed. No messages. Just a single article pinned months ago:

> [📂 MISSING: SYSTEM USER — LEE DAEJUN. STATUS: UNKNOWN.]

His father.

He locked the screen, pocketed it, and walked toward school. One hand in his pocket. The other clenched tight.

---

🎮 Scene 3 — 8:22 AM | Observation Room, Sector 1

Screens buzzed. Operators typed.

The Red Portal raid played in slow motion—ruined terrain, scorched gear, lingering static.

> Officer 1:

"They cleared it. But just barely. Two down."

> Agent Corrin:

"Tag and monitor the survivors. Especially the healer."

One officer flinched at a blinking red feed.

> Officer 2:

"Sir… we detected a sync echo anomaly. District 13."

> Corrin (eyes sharpening):

"Unregistered?"

> Officer 2:

"Seventeen. Male. No awakening logged."

> Corrin:

"Name?"

> Officer 2:

"Jax Lee."

Corrin paused, staring at a blurred street-cam image.

> Corrin (calmly):

"Keep him under silent trace. No alerts to the system net."

> Officer 2:

"Understood."

🏛️ Scene 4 — 8:30 AM | Skyward Command – Executive Wing

The skyline shimmered behind the glass walls of the most secure room in the Bureau.

President Seon Juwon, silver-haired but sharp-eyed, stood watching a slowed replay of the raid. His arms folded. His face unreadable.

> Seon Juwon (grimly):

"That thing mutated inside the portal. It wasn't just strong—it learned."

Vice President Rika Han reviewed data across three panels.

> Rika Han:

"It copied user abilities. That's not part of the Red-Class parameters."

> Seon Juwon:

"No. It isn't. Someone pushed it."

> Rika (pausing):

"From the raid team?"

> Seon Juwon (shaking head):

"From outside. Possibly… someone unsynced."

He turned to her, eyes cold.

> Seon Juwon:

"We've been picking up echoes. Static signatures. Off-grid sync traces."

> Rika (tense):

"But those systems were sealed decades ago."

> Seon Juwon (softly):

"Not all of them."

He turned back to the cityscape.

> Seon Juwon:

"Find the source. If a Hidden System has resurfaced…"

He let the words trail like thunder.

> Seon Juwon:

"…then the rules are about to break."
