# Noah's POV#
Zoey's lips move against mine with desperate hunger. Her hands tangle in my hair, pulling me closer, and for a moment I lose myself in the heat of vengeance. This is what Chloe deserves. This is justice.
But even as rage fuels my actions, something deeper holds me back.
I break the kiss abruptly, stepping away from her. My chest heaves as reality crashes down around me.
"I can't do this."
Zoey's eyes flutter open, confusion replacing passion. "What?"
"I can't become what she is." I run my hands through my hair, pacing to the window. "If I sleep with you now, I'm no better than Chloe."
"Noah, it's not the same thing—"
"Isn't it?" I spin to face her. "We're both married. This would be revenge, not love."
Her face crumples slightly, but she doesn't back down. "So what are you going to do? Stay married to a woman who's been cheating on you for months?"
"No." The word comes out harder than steel. "I'm going to divorce her. But I won't cheat to do it."
