Konoha Hospital.

Tianyuan opened his eyes. He now understood the current situation. His previous coma was caused by the infusion of a "fragment."

This fragment contained everything Tianyuan experienced in Konoha, as well as the method and usage of his 'Golden Finger' from earlier.

Currently, Tianyuan was 8 years old and still studying at the Konoha Ninja Academy. His parents had died during a mission when he was four, so Tianyuan had been living alone ever since. This made it easier for Tianyuan to integrate into the world of Naruto.

In this world of Naruto, Tianyuan also had somewhat thick nerves, so his relationship with his classmates at school was quite good. This personality was similar to the original Tianyuan's, which might be why the Player System chose him. Perhaps the Tianyuan of the Naruto world was a reflection of the original Tianyuan from Earth.

However, Tianyuan's ninja talent wasn't particularly good, though it wasn't bad either. His strength at the Ninja Academy was roughly average, not comparable to some talented students, like Anko, the black-haired girl he saw in the classroom earlier; he was somewhat inferior to her.

Now that Tianyuan had familiarized himself with these memories, knowing that this girl was Anko, he could correlate it and realize that this was the future Anko Mitarashi, who would also be Orochimaru's disciple. The restoration of these memories was a great help to Tianyuan, allowing him to better integrate into this Naruto world.

He now knew where he lived, where to find food, and even how to cultivate chakra, perform basic ninjutsu like the Substitution Jutsu, and throw kunai, as if he had already practiced them himself. However, Tianyuan still needed to familiarize himself with these things.

On the other hand, besides these memories, Tianyuan also knew how to use the Player. This was his 'Golden Finger,' but it was a bit peculiar.

In essence, Tianyuan was like a signal receiver, a player, within the entire Naruto world. Random signal points would appear, capable of receiving fragments from anime or movies. After receiving these fragments, he could extract abilities from them.

The signal reception points generally had to be fixed in locations that weren't too far apart, and their existence time would constantly change and refresh. At the same time, the video player received fragments in six qualities: Normal, Standard, High Definition, Ultra High Definition, Blu-ray, and IMAX.

Of course, "Normal" wasn't necessarily the worst. It just meant that for fragments received in that quality, the difficulty of extracting good things was too high. For qualities like Ultra High Definition, Blu-ray, and IMAX, the chances of extracting good things would be much greater. It wouldn't be one hundred percent, but eighty percent was the minimum.

The Player System would also refresh some regular missions. These missions could yield video fragments or honor points. These High Definition, Ultra High Definition, and other video fragments could also be purchased with honor points, but obtaining honor points was quite difficult. So, receiving signals was the most convenient way, but Tianyuan knew that this kind of signal reception would definitely be a trap.

"Even if it's a trap, I have to go in." Tianyuan sighed. He knew that his current body's ninja talent, if he were to follow the conventional path, offered little hope. He just hoped he wouldn't accidentally be killed by ninjas from an enemy village.

Moreover, Tianyuan knew that it was currently Konoha Year 45, which meant the Third Great Ninja War was about to begin. If nothing went wrong, the Nine-Tails' attack on Konoha would also begin after the Third Great Ninja War ended. If he wasn't strong enough, he could truly become cannon fodder in it. In a ninja war, the probability of Jonin dying was high, let alone Chunin and Genin.

"Gaining Jonin-level strength in just a few years, I feel a lot of pressure." Tianyuan grumbled. Fortunately, he had his 'Golden Finger'; fate hadn't let him down. Otherwise, without any Uchiha bloodline, trying to improve his strength so quickly would truly be a pipe dream.

"Wait, system, how did I even get to the Naruto world?" Tianyuan thought of this. His recent memories didn't explain this.

"The host was chosen by destiny." The system briefly stalled, then responded.

"Destiny my foot." Tianyuan gave a middle finger. "Just tell me directly."

Then a fragment appeared from the system. It showed the handsome Tianyuan playing a game, when suddenly a fireball descended from the sky, directly turning his entire home into ash. Tianyuan, who was inside, was also incinerated. That fireball was the Player. For some unknown reason, this fireball merged with Tianyuan's soul, then broke through space and arrived in the world of Naruto.

"Alright, I guess I can say my luck isn't that bad." Tianyuan looked at the fragment, speechless. This was truly destiny, a terrible destiny.

"But now that it's merged with my soul, that means I am it. I am the Player." Tianyuan murmured. "I am the Player. It feels kind of awesome, perfectly fitting the awesome beginning of a novel." After grumbling to himself, Tianyuan felt a little better.

Just then, a voice came from outside the door.

"Teacher, what happened to Tianyuan?" A girl's voice rang out.

"The medical ninja said he's fine." The ninja teacher replied.

"Then let's go see him." The girl said.

"Let's go together." The ninja teacher said, entering the room.

Tianyuan looked at the three people in front of him and greeted them, "Hi, Takagi-sensei, Anko, and Iruka. Hello."

"Damn you, Tianyuan! I thought something happened to you!" Anko Mitarashi walked to Tianyuan's side, saying fiercely. "Otherwise, our school's 'Two Bullies' would be one person short, and I'd still be sad."

"'Two Bullies'?" Tianyuan said, feeling annoyed. "Anko, you're the bully. I'm a good person."

"Good person, Iruka, do you believe Tianyuan's words?" Anko turned and asked.

"Tianyuan is a good person." The honest Iruka Umino said.

"Pointless to ask you," Anko said, speechless.

"Takagi-sensei, I'm fine now. I'll just check out of the hospital." Tianyuan stood up.

"Are you really alright? There's no rush for Ninja Academy classes." Takagi-sensei said. Although he was sometimes speechless at Tianyuan constantly disrupting class, Takagi-sensei knew that Tianyuan was also very serious about his ninja studies.

"I'm fine." Tianyuan jumped to the ground. "See? I can even beat a cow now."

"Alright, then I'll go do the paperwork." Takagi-sensei nodded.
