Fortunately, when editing his original video compilation, Aoki Sora had included plenty of scenes without himself in them, just to flesh out a full storyline and better indulge in his personal fantasy.
For example, he had clipped in bits from the Pain Invasion arc, that iconic moment when Sakura stood in the rubble, crying out for Naruto's help, so he could spin a custom plot where Sakura ended up with Naruto.
How?
In his custom version, Sora had imagined meeting Karin Uzumaki early on, inspired by her own route from the game. Without Karin's healing abilities, Sasuke ended up dying in the battle against the Eight-Tails. No one could save him.
From there, he created a timeline where Sakura gave up on chasing Sasuke and, after some dramatic twists and emotional buildup, finally accepted Naruto. It ended with the two of them embracing. He even clipped in that fake confession scene where Sakura lied to Naruto to stop him from chasing Sasuke.
He also added famous moments like "You're such a foolish little brother, Sasuke" from the Uchiha Massacre backstory, and the death of the Third Hokage to deepen the tone.
All of this helped keep the earlier segments from being entirely centered around himself.
Which now, ironically, turned out to be a blessing.
If two scenes in a row had been all about him, the entire world would have turned its suspicion squarely back on his head.
And honestly, he wasn't strong enough yet to deal with that much attention.
Still, he couldn't help but feel a little bad for Hinata.
Two broadcasts so far. One about her confessing, and the other about her being kidnapped.
That had to be more than a little embarrassing for her.
With that in mind, Sora glanced over toward Hinata, a little concerned.
And in that exact moment, Hinata was looking back at him.
Her eyes were full of something warm.
"Uh..."
The second their eyes met, Hinata's face lit up red again.
She had been caught.
She hadn't even realized she was looking at him. Her emotions had been stirred up from earlier, and she had turned to glance at him instinctively...
But the timing couldn't have been worse.
Her heart pounded so hard she felt dizzy, and then, in one swift motion, she collapsed facedown onto her desk with a thud.
Sora: "…???!!!"
What just happened?
She passed out just from making eye contact?
Why did that feel way too similar to the original anime, where Hinata would faint just from talking to Naruto?
Or like one of those turning points in the game, where the heroine's affection rating suddenly triggered a phase shift...
His mind flashed.
He looked carefully at Hinata again.
[Invite to Dinner]
[Invite to Team Up]
[Train Together]
[Do Missions Together]
[Enhance Affection Score]
[Change Outfit]
[Relationship Status (Ally/Enemy)]
He mentally selected [Relationship Status]
[Status: Willing to Live or Die Together (Friendly – High)]
Sora: "…Wait, WHAT?"
Her affection was already that high?
She was willing to live or die with him?
But... he hadn't even done anything yet.
He hadn't started pursuing her, hadn't planned anything romantic, and somehow, her affection level was already over 80 percent?
The next stage would be [Willing to Spend a Lifetime Together]
That was basically "True Love Ending Unlocked."
"Willing to live or die together" meant that even if he was thrown into life-threatening danger, Hinata would willingly go with him. It didn't necessarily imply romantic love. It could represent peak-level trust and loyalty between friends, but even so, it was a huge emotional milestone.
It was the threshold between quantity and quality, between familiarity and deep connection.
Take the original anime for example. Hinata's feelings for Naruto at the beginning weren't exactly love. They were more like fierce admiration, an idealistic longing. Even during the Chunin Exams, during the written test phase, she could still sit next to him and try to offer answers without fainting.
At that time, her feelings were only shy and awkward, largely because she was naturally introverted.
She wasn't overwhelmed yet.
It wasn't until Naruto encouraged her in the middle of the exams, when he told her she was strong in her own way, that something shifted inside her.
That was the moment things changed.
From then on, every time she was near Naruto, her emotions overloaded. She began to blush, stammer, and collapse.
That was when it crossed over into actual love, the kind that's hard to say out loud.
Now, it seemed Hinata's feelings for him had reached that same level.
She had just fainted after one brief moment of eye contact.
Still, this wasn't romantic love yet.
Not quite.
It was high-level affection, probably more like trust or gratitude. Maybe even admiration.
Romance? Not yet. Not the real thing.
Which made Sora ask himself...
Do I even have a bond with Hinata deep enough to explain that level of trust?
He genuinely had no idea how this happened.
He hadn't done anything.
All that had happened was the world saw two videos, and somehow Hinata's relationship status toward him had leveled up?
Would she really be swayed just because the video said she would confess to him in the future?
No way. Hinata wasn't that kind of person.
She took love seriously. She wouldn't just accept destiny and fall for someone because fate said so.
If she said she was willing to live or die with someone, it meant that person had truly moved her.
Which begged the question...
What had he done to move her?
He had no answer.
Maybe one day, if their relationship deepened, he could ask her about it.
Maybe then, she would tell him what really made her feel that way.
For now, it was a mystery.
Meanwhile, back in the Hokage Tower
"So it really is something that will happen in the future..."
Hiashi Hyuga took a long, deep breath.
