Chapter 6 - 6 The Gatekeeper of the Void

Ventirus awoke in the void of Earth after the end of his first life. He saw darkness covering everything, glimpsing lost souls unaware of the beginning or the end in that inevitable place—wounded souls, desperate from endless cycles of reincarnation over countless ages, and the constant promises they made and forgot upon each incarnation. Love, hatred, and all human emotions had consumed their pure spirits... These souls kept repeating one phrase:

"Agla… Agla… Elion, Elion…"

Ventirus observed every point in that place with deep focus, watching souls weep to see the tunnel emitting light, and others weep to avoid that light out of fear of falling into illusion once more. The echoes of these souls carried a terrifying, despairing resonance...

Ventirus stood still, trying to analyze this place, murmuring deeply, "Hah, is there no way out here?"

"Did I not die in my first incarnation? In other words, this means I am in a place that forces me to choose indirectly…"

"Oh, so this is how existence plays here…"

From nowhere, a faint, vast voice filled the space in a calm, prolonged tone: "Ven—tiros…"

Ventirus looked around in astonishment: "What?"

Yet everything around was normal; as usual, the souls kept repeating the same spells in endless despair…

Suddenly, the voice caused a "glitch" in the void, pulling Ventirus to its point of presence. The speaker was neither a manifestation nor a terrifying creature—it was "nothing" speaking through energy frequency. Upon Ventirus entering the point where this consciousness resided, he never spoke or made any move, carefully watching to avoid mistake.

Then the voice spoke more quietly: "Ventirus… Eternal Creator… why do you incarnate?"

He was stunned for a moment, muttering, "What?"

Then the voice demanded firmly, "Who are you?"

The unknown voice began to form a temporary likeness of Ventirus—not his true form—approaching and whispering softly: "Edmon."

A questioning expression rose on Ventirus's face: "Edmon?"

Edmon's apparition smiled a lifeless smile, then said with a voice resembling the very pulses of the void itself:"I am the Keeper of the Gate of the Void… I do not watch those who enter, but those who should not be here. I do not warn… I remind. For whoever reaches me… has forgotten themselves…

And has begun to transform into something neither human… nor divine."

Edmon stepped closer, his voice slowing… as if every word was thrust like a spear into Ventirus's soul:

"Your first incarnation… was no mistake.

It was a betrayal of unwritten laws, a fracture point in an uncomprehended balance, and thus… the body could not contain you."

"Had it not been for the scant attempts you made, the body would have died long ago…"

He raised his hand to the void and began murmuring:

"Zodacare Od Zodameranu... Odo cicle qaa."

(Come forth, forces of light, open the paths of worlds)

"Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh... Agla, Adonai, El Shaddai…"

(I am the Being that will be, O Eternal God, O Lord, O Almighty)

Symbols appeared in the air around him, cold fires tracing circles in the void. The souls' screams halted… then whispered anew, but in a language Ventirus could not comprehend…

Edmon approached and said finally:"You have incarnated… without time, without permission, thus your first incarnation was not attributed to your true identity, but a distorted shadow of yourself…"

Ventirus replied at last:"Then why do these souls continue screaming in despair, as if the ruler has locked them in hell, even if they remain faithful?"

Edmon turned his temporary form toward the void, extending his right hand made of solid shadows.

He uttered in a heavy whisper: "Ol sonf vorsg, goho Iad balta..."

(Divine ones, lift the veil, reveal the truth)

Edmon spoke, his voice no longer human:"This is Earth's surrounding void as seen from the abyss; it is not matter… but what lies beyond matter."

He pointed to a great whirlpool spinning at the center of this ocean, saying:

"This is the pull point… where souls are cast after failing true incarnation."

"Each soul tortured here is not evil… but because it ignored the original vows made with the gods before descent."

"Every promise of purity, every oath of sanctity, every pledge of truth… broken at the first kiss, the first lie, the first fear."

Then Ventirus said in a voice descending from a deeper place:

"That is why the souls whisper: 'Agla… Agla… Elion, Elion…'

For they remember only the name of God, not His image."

Ventirus approached the edge, feeling his soul being pulled toward the vortex, but Edmon raised his hand and murmured:

"Zir, od zamran!"

(Stop, and freeze)

Silence returned. Ventirus muttered, "But why am I here? Why was my first incarnation rejected?"

Edmon replied in a sharp, merciless tone:"Because you chose to fall... without heeding the voice of the Supreme Council,

You did not pass through the temporal fabric that permits your true incarnation."

"You were born... without a seal, without a name, without a covenant."

Then he traced a fiery symbol upon his chest in the air, saying:

"Tzaphkiel... Archon of Saturn, reveal the prison of time."

Behind him, a new dimension opened, revealing an eternal clock—each second a soul falls, each beat stealing memories from the souls of Earth.

Edmon said slowly:"Earth… is not just a material world, but a trial of energy, of intent, and of sound. Those born without a marked sound… are deemed invisible to the higher realms."

Then he looked into Ventirus's eyes and said: "Do you want to see the full truth? To hear the melody of creation here?"

He reached out to him and began chanting the spell:

"Ehyeh… Asher… Ehyeh…"

(I am the being that will be)

The realm around Ventirus reshaped itself as if Edmon had glitched existence, then said in a cosmic, sharp tone during the remaking of his presence:"Do you comprehend the reason for your existence?"

But Ventirus did not utter a word about the cause of his being... Silence lingered briefly before Edmon continued:"This is the melody of creation in this universe, the awareness that you hold a purpose unknown to you, that you are something you do not understand."

"But naturally, everything is nothingness, and this purpose is merely an illusion to make the cosmic incarnate soul realize its truth and seek deeper meaning in life."

"There are those who kill themselves out of despair for not knowing this unknown purpose. There are those who kill others to rid themselves of a feeling that kills them inside. And there are those who harm themselves to find relief from the pain devouring their body."

Ventirus responded with a question that haunted him since his first incarnation:

"Why does the vessel possess its own consciousness?"

Edmon looked coldly at Ventirus, devoid of life:"Because they are souls after all."

He paused for a moment then added:"Souls sealed by the Supreme Divine Council to be a special game for the rest of the cosmic souls to experiment through."

"Where do they go after death?" Ventirus asked.

"Death?" Edmon said with a tone laced in mockery:"These vessels do not die. Rather, there are two states upon being recalled—not 'death'. Some refuse to leave the place they lived and become lost spirits because they feel they possess a purpose here, just as the cosmic soul once felt when inside the vessel as if they held a higher purpose beyond Earth. And there are those who are reincarnated, but in a way more essential than material form—that is, they will not be reincarnated in the form they had in their previous life."

He paused, then continued:"But they will not forget what happened in the previous life. They will remember, feel, and may suffer if the past experience was harsh."

Ventirus was not fully aware of all the words that the "Guardian of the Void" had said about him. Those phrases echoed inside him; he did not know who he was... Not because anyone prevented him from remembering, nor because a seal was imposed on him, but because the will itself chose to forget. This will was not from the High Council of Gods, nor from any other god, but a pure desire from Ventirus himself... from the complete self that decided to keep only the ethereal half on this path, scattering a small shard of the soul to deliberately make this incarnation incomplete.

The incarnation of the "Point of Balance" was a danger to all existence, so the flame was fragmented.

But the original... the complete self... did not disappear, rather it chose to hide behind the cosmic fog, watching from afar... seeing the universes slowly collapse and fall apart because the "Point of Balance" had incarnated.

The complete self of Ventirus was in a place not measured by distances, nor described by dimensions, a place where time does not reach...

A place called: "The Silence Before Creation," a place where the trace of Ventirus was completely hidden from the Creators...

There, the true self of Ventirus sat, still, waiting, expecting the moment when the ethereal half would break the wall, and remember... not everything...,But enough to reconnect and breach the cosmic order...
