"Master Nexus, are you alright?" The voice of a female flowed through Harry's ears.
'Finally! Something other than that void!' Harry told himself.
For what had felt like years, Harry spent his time in an endless void. There was nothing to do and no one to talk to. He felt his sanity slip away, as if you leave a human isolated for too long, insanity is only a measure of time.
Harry opened his eyes and rose his back from the soft pillow on his bed. He looked around himself, expecting to see the familiar room of a hospital. But no, it wasn't anything like that.
The walls and pillars of the room were built of fine quartz, and the floor and roof consisted of wooden planks. Harry could not believe it.
He sat there for a few moments, letting all of it: the room, the void, and his painfulaccident sink in.
'No one could have survived a truck hitting them. So I died, didn't I?' Harry asked himself, realising what had happened to him.
"Master Nexus?" Another call.
Harry instinctively turned to where the voice had come from, to see a woman in her early 20s wearing the garments of a maid, standing there with a worried expression.
"Are you alright? Your body seems... red?" She asked, her voice laced with worry.
Harry was baffled. He just faced death, and now there was a maid calling him Nexus and her master. This was absurd!
Harry looked at his hands. They were the size of a child's. He looked at his legs, which were also smaller than they were supposed to have been.
"I'm fine," Harry answered. "I'm just... hungry." He reached to his stomach, which gave a low grumble.
"Understood. Please wait a moment until I will bring you something to eat." She replied before hurrying out of the room.
Harry watched as the door closed behind her as a look of concern spread across his face.
"Is this real. Some sort of simulation or something?" He asked himself.
Harry pinched his hand, and pain flared through it. 'Definitely not a dream.' He thought as he stood up from the bed.
He walked towards the windows of the room and peered at the view. The land stretched further and further, with greenery as far as he could see.
Harry gazed at the view for a few minutes, letting the his brain process all of this information.
'This feels too real to be a dream.' The door creaked open, and Harry turned to face it.
The maid from before pulled a short metal cart. On it, there was a plate of cake, macaroons, and other sweets.
Harry walked towards the tray and reached for a cake. The soft texture of the cake spiralled in his hand.
He opened his mouth and took a bite. The taste of chocolate and the texture of cream tingled on his tongue.
'It tastes and feels real... so there is only one explanation.' Harry took his gaze off of the cake and at the maid in front of him. 'I have been transmigrated.'
"Does the cake taste fine, master?" The maid asked.
Harry looked down at his hand and smiled warmly at the woman. "Fine."
The maid nodded before speaking again.
"Breakfast will be served in about two hours. May I help you change?" Harry was taken aback.
He looked down to see himself in a pair of pants and a shirt with a moon design. 'So I was sleeping?' Harry thought.
"No need," Harry replied, looking back at the maid. "Please wait outside the door."
The maid's eyes widened for a moment before she quickly rushed towards the door.
"One more thing," Harry stopped the maid. "What was your name, again?" She turned, an expression of astonishment on her face.
"Y-Yulishia." the maid stuttered. Harry nodded and turned around, giving the maid, Yulishia, a chance to walk out.
The door closed behind Yulishia and Harry crossed his hands.
"Now that she's gone... what to do with this?" Harry asked himself, finally paying attention to the holographic blue panel before his eyes.

"An unknown entity?" Harry, now Nexus, asked himself as he wore a blue coat over his black shirt. "I'll look into that later. For now, I should see what this skill can do."
As those words left his mouth, another holographic panel appeared before his eyes.

"Starting off and already a skill like this?" Nexus couldn't believe his eyes as he read through the interface. "This 'entity' must be powerful to gift me such a skill."
He tied his shoe laces and stood up from the bed. "So how do I do this?" Nexus asked himself.
Suddenly the two panels vanished and a new, unique holographic red coloured interface appeared.
"Hm?" Nexus thought. 'More panels? Doesn't this system shut up?'

"So I just have to fill out this?" Nexus asked himself as a smirk spread across his face.
"Master, do you need any help in there?" Yulishia's voice came through the door snapping Nexus out of his thoughts.
He looked at the system panel and then at the door.
"Coming!" Nexus said in a loud tone. He looked back at the panel. 'I'll look into you, later.'
He walked towards the door and pushed it open.
"Are you ready, master?" Yulishia asked.
"Fine," Nexus replied. "Let's go."
