Synopsis
Intro: This is my first book in the series "The Hidden Character." I always wanted to read a story where the identity of the main character wasn’t obvious—where we didn’t know who the real protagonist was. Since I couldn’t find a story like that, I decided to create one myself. Lina was an ordinary girl living a simple life—until the day she died and was reincarnated into a novel world called "Sweet Surrender". In this world, "Arya" was known as the villainess, and Lina now finds herself in Arya’s place. However, there’s a rule in the novels: if you’re reincarnated or reborn into a character, you're expected to become the new hero of the story. But Arya has no interest in playing the hero. That is, until she starts noticing strange things—she isn’t the main character after all. Nothing is happening the way it did in the original novel. Even the former heroine and other characters are acting differently. With everything shifting, one truth becomes clear: a new hero must rise. But who is it supposed to be? That’s the mystery Arya must solve. I hope you enjoy my work. May God always bless me.

Chapter 1 - The big day

A resplendent room, bathed in the gentle embrace of sunlight and the invigorating whisper of fresh air from its open windows, presented a truly picturesque tableau. Yet, even more captivating than this idyllic setting was a seven-year-old girl with eyes reminiscent of a shy red deer, a cascade of mid-length, lustrous red hair, skin of porcelain purity, and a face as exquisitely sculpted as a doll's—yes, that's me. And no, I'm not self-obsessed, even though there nothing wrong in that but The individual I'm describing that bears resemblance to the character the author of the novel "Sweet Surrender" depicted. Here, I've transformed into Same Villainess, or "Arya." I harbor no regrets, because this is no longer merely a novel; it's a world where I im privileged to be born, yes born into a loving and powerful family, which is undoubtedly a carry on top of the cake,a blessing from heaven.

Today, an electric buzz of anticipation fills the air. I'm being adorned with exquisite care, just like the rest of my family. No, it's not my birthday; it's the last day of the year and the final day of my non-magical existence. Yes, today I will going to the capital receive the gift of my magical power, and by tomorrow, around six or seven a.m., I will be a child endowed with extraordinary abilities, just like my older brother, Agni.

In this world, on the last day of the year, if you are of noble lineage and seven years of age, you are obligated to journey to the main temple in the capital, Nadaka, of the Kingdom of Rohalini, to receive your power. This doesn't occur on New Year's Day or the last day because there's a sacred nine-day interlude between the last day of the year and the first day of the new year. These nine days are not added to any calendar year but are free, holy days solely dedicated to the Mother Goddess and other holy deities, during which everyone who turn seven old, receives their magic power.

And from tomorrow, the main narrative will unfold. The main heroine will also receive her power, just as I will. As I was lost in contemplative thought, my maids, who were decorating and adoring me from head to toe, exclaimed with delight, "Miss, you look so cute!" Hearing Anita's voice, I snapped out of my reverie and gazed into the mirror. My hair was styled in a delicate half-braid, elegantly adorned with flower pins, and, as an unmarried girl, it was flowing freely, not tied down. I was wearing a knee-length green frock with a subtle red feather symbol on the right pocket, even though there wasn't a real pocket. Pretty and beautiful, white sandals completed the look with perfect grace. "See, you've all made me pretty," I said, eyeing myself in the mirror. Lia, the other maid, smiled, "Of course, Miss was born beautiful, just like our Madam." While everyone was complimenting me, my mother entered, wearing a green silk gown remarkably similar to my frock, with her beige hair styled in a bun and a red feather hairpin on it as is customary for a married woman. She is so beautiful, looking at me with her warm red eyes. "Arya, are you ready, my dear?" Hearing this, I readily shook my head in affirmation and embraced her. "You look so beautiful!" I also laughed and said, "Not as much as my mother." As we both hugged and chatted, my brothers, Agni and Nuri, and my father also arrived. I mean, it's my big day, and they're all wearing identical clothes: a red tunic with a red feather brooch(red feather is a symbol of our family)on the left pocket and black pants. The only difference is my father is also carrying a black cloak as a symbol of his dukedom. While my father has long red hair, kept a little lengthy as befits a married man, tied by a black ribbon, my brothers have short hair, as is the custom for unmarried boys. We all complimented each other. I mean, my family has good genes. My little brother chirped with glee, "Sister, you're going to be a powerful person now!" Chuckling, I replied, "Yes, and one day our Nuri will be a powerful person like father, right?!" "Yes, yes, our Nuri is also going to be a very, very powerful person," my older brother Agni added, while playfully ruffling Nuri's beige hair. "Ouch! Brother, stop messing with my hair, or else I'll do the same!" Nuri said, pouting. "Okay, okay, that's enough, we're getting late. We should go, it's already nine a.m.," Father said gently. "Yep, yep, let's go," Nuri chirped. Everyone laughed as Mother pulled Nuri's cheeks, "Okay, let's get going." Our carriage arrived. Our carriages are different from those I read about in books in my previous life because these carriages are powered by magic like Air, Wind, Water, Fire, or Earth. For instance, our carriages are custom-made, powered by Fire magic, so there are no bumps or accidents. And we don't even need to travel for hours or days to reach the capital, Nadaka. In every main city, there are teleportation portals open and connected to the capital, Nadaka, of our Kingdom Rohalini, and between the capital and other cities. So we live in our dukedom—"Ardosia"—where, as a duke, we reside in our main city "Ardor." There's a teleportation portal there. So we need to go there, and from there, we will be teleported to the capital, Nadaka, in an hour or two with our carriages. It's like a door you pass through to go to a different city. A mix of nervousness and eager anticipation now churned within me, wondering what the future truly held.
