Chapter 4 - Chapter 3: The Weight of Rebellion

### Chapter 3: The Weight of Rebellion

Void wandered the multiverse, hunting gods one by one. Each kill amplified their power, their stats climbing to nonillion heights, their abilities transcending infinity. Yet each victory left a heavier burden. The mortal realms collapsed under the weight of their rebellion, civilizations reduced to ash, survivors haunted by the shadows Void had unleashed.

In a desolate dimension, Void encountered a mortal scholar named Elara, one of the few who dared approach them. She carried no weapon, only a tome inscribed with forbidden knowledge of the gods. "You're not a savior," she said, her voice steady despite the fear in her eyes. "You're a force of nature, a storm that destroys everything it touches. Why do you hate them so?"

Void paused, the question piercing their crimson core. "They made me to destroy. I am only fulfilling their design—against them."

Elara shook her head. "You're more than their design. You feel, you question. That makes you more than a weapon. But every god you kill makes you less… human."

The word struck Void like a blade. Human. They were no mortal, yet the emotions swirling within them—rage, guilt, curiosity—felt achingly mortal. They spared Elara, leaving her to ponder her words as they sought their next target: Kryon, the God of Time.
