Chapter 13 - Where the Hell Did You Drag Me?

Bones wander, rotting flesh reigns.

Lost souls drift, demons rampage.

This place is the hell of the damned, the battleground of the wicked.

Salvation abandoned, mercy forgotten.

Here, on this forsaken land, only endless violence and killing remain.

Welcome to the Undying World, ruled by the Lich King.

Welcome to the land of unending death!

→ "Broke again, folks—anyone got fifty bucks to fund my resurrection matches?"

Deep in a dim cavern, a campfire burns quietly.

Its warm glow steadies You Ming's mind after the long trek.

Once he pieced together the world's truth, relief never came—only dread.

Good news: he's traveled to the world of Yu‑Gi‑Oh! anime, something vaguely familiar.

Bad news: the body he inhabited was already dead on arrival.

Worse news: that body went straight to hell.

Chest tightening, reality sinking in.

"You must save this world," Shadi's voice echoes—but in a place like this?

You Ming peeks outside the cave: literal mountains of corpses, erupting pools of gore.

Skeletons battling, demons dancing—it feels suffocating.

And he knows some of them—Zoma the Undead, Count Undead. Their terrifying roars and ceaseless slaughter say one thing:

"Save this world? As if."

Does this hellscape look savable? These twisted, speechless warriors announce the opposite.

Meanwhile, everyone else who crossed over is smiling and dueling, forming alliances with foresight… but he landed here—no friends, no allies, just forced dueling to resurrect?

You Ming nearly collapses from despair.

> "Shadi, you son of a—find someone else! I'm done chasing this millennium-scale destiny."

Still, he doesn't discard the golden Scales.

Complaining done, it's time to focus.

> "Mind if I take stock of our situation?"

He glances back to the fire—beside it sits a foul-mouthed thug. Keith Howard is his only source of info.

> "First: this world has a supreme overlord, called the Lich King."

Lucky for You Ming, he recognizes the lore. In this undead realm, the Lich King's power has grown further than simple eternal war.

> "He not only rules this death-world, but is expanding outward now."

> "Sounds like a classic Demon Lord takeover."

> "It is… but there's no hero, no kingdom to save us. Everyone's waiting to die."

Keith, surprisingly, plays along—though with that same cruel grin.

> "You're the only resistance left… but we're just scrappy survivors trying to get by."

You Ming's calm nod disappoints Keith. He was hoping for drama.

> "At least you're doing something—even if it's just surviving."

> "And that's why we're here."

Keith's words carry a truth that sinks in.

> "But you did die—why are you here?"

Keith shrugs.

> "So I could die? No, I died then came here. I'm hunting something."

You Ming's gaze drifts toward the shattered dragon corpse outside the cave, surrounded by bones forming an eerie cathedral of ruins—they call it the Crimson Ruins.

> "Mining for that 'Red-Eyes' thing?"

> "Red-Eyes Black Dragon?"

> "If only it were the card. I'm talking about its eye."

Keith sits back in the fire's glow.

> "This corpse is an old Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Legend says the Lich King took one of its eyes—hence his power."

You Ming checks the system interface: an objective titled "Crimson Undying Legend" is blinking.

> "Plot's lining up neatly."

Keith leans forward.

> "They say someday the Red-Eyes Eye will bring balance between light and dark, awaken a rightful king, and restore peace to the underworld."

You Ming sighs.

> "Wait, what the hell have you dragged me into? This is Yu‑Gi‑Oh!?"
