Dawn broke, marking the start of a new day.

"In that case, you must act quickly," Akeno said.
"Hm? What do you have in mind?" Rias asked.
"Look~" Akeno pointed below.
Following her gesture, Rias looked down.
Two students were walking up toward Akira.
One exuded an intellectual aura, while the other had long black hair flowing down her waist. They strode side by side in his direction.
"Sona…"
Rias's gaze narrowed slightly.
Sona Sitri, like Rias herself, was a noble Devil and heir to one of the major demon families—the Sitri family, one of the 72 Pillars. She was also President of the Kuoh Academy Student Council.
Behind her walked Tsubaki Shinra, the Vice President of the council and Queen of Sona's Peerage.
Both were the same age, noble-born, and had been rivals since childhood.
In family background, personal power, and social status—they stood shoulder to shoulder.
Each led their own Peerage, and their siblings were Devil Kings/Maou.
Naturally, their rivalry remained fierce.
Even in recruiting Familiars or Pawns, they vied for the strongest.
For now, the two sides were evenly matched.
"Akeno, Koneko. Let's head down. We can't let Sona make the first move," Rias said.
"Understood," Akeno replied.
"Mm," Koneko affirmed.
The three women descended the stairs swiftly. Their movements were graceful—and not surprising—they weren't ordinary humans.
Passing students took note of their descent but didn't bat an eye. At Kuoh Academy, Rias was not just a school idol—she was the sports queen.
Her records stood unbroken alongside Sona's.
