Stepping back onto the platform and taking one last look at the gate he clicked the button and started his descent. Finn had never really thought about the fact that his life could really be in danger on any of his previous scavenges but now when he was actually faced with a life or death situation his body couldn't stop trembling.
A normal person would think about their own well-being but not Finn the reason he is afraid of death is that Maaka would be left alone no one to help her even worse she is still too young and Finn never really taught her how to be independent yet.
'Damn it'
He waited as the lights on the wall came and passed by, one by one until he finally reached the bottom. The elevator decreased its speed and slowly came to a halt. Finn wasn't going to get off the platform yet though he huddled up next to a crate and aligned a glass mirror-he found it covered with a dusty cloth next to some other crates on the platform-on a crate so that it reflects the intersection up ahead of the elevator.
He stood up and straightened his back.
'Alright this could work... S.B.A are you able to connect the thread to walls?'
[Well of course I can though it might be a little tricky]
'Perfect, let's get to work then'
Finn focused his line of sight on a point and gave S.B.A a mental command to send out a thread then moved his line of sight elsewhere and connected the rest of the thread. One after another he connected the threads cautiously. He kept on doing that deeper into the bunker towards where the generator was. It was like a human sized spider web.
Finn carefully traversed the web of thread and made it back to the elevator platform he then hid behind one of the crates and kept a close eye on the mirror. Now he was able to see if anyone or anything makes its way through the intersections.
'Can you alter the threads to be as durable as possible and as thin as you can make it so it'd be difficult to spot'
[I will try but don't expect all of them to be that way and before you ask, I can make it so you can see thin threads so I'll do that as well]
'Good then now we wait'

There was one room Finn hadn't seen yet, it was quit literally his last hope for getting out of this predicament. Though was it really worth it gambling it all? On one chance if the room turned out to have nothing to do with the gate being closed Finn would be doomed, but it was his last chance he had no other option here, it's either risk it all to escape this place or do nothing and get caught which would most likely get him killed, so yes Finn was very willing to gamble it all on that one room.
He sat and stared at the mirror like a maniac waiting soon they finally returned. They walked towards the intersection and took a left.
'Wait what a left?! ...I'm an idiot'
Finn went a little off the top using the thread that he even used it in the hall leading to the generator room. Any second now one of them would stumble upon a thread and trample which would most likely give away that they are not alone down here.
Finn acted fast he didn't question the possibilities he just ran.
Sprinting he hastily made it passed them and towards where they came from for a second he locked eyes with that warrior among them but in the next second the right metal door closed shut.
He continued running.
'You can control the doors down here?!'
[Of course I can! My control chip is connected to the building after all.]
'We'll have to grab it on the way out then'
[Sure but fair warning those doors won't stay closed for ever, see they are energy based soon they will run out of energy and will be open again.]
'And how long will that take?'
It took a few seconds to respond probably calculating.
[I'd say about twenty five minutes.]
"Good enough."
Finn made it past the storage room and the weapon armory and finally at the end of the hall he made it to the final room.
It was not was he was expecting the room had clean white walls, the cabinets and shelves were completely intact everything almost looked normal... too normal.
Upon further observation the room seemed to be a lab due to all the scientific equipment that was present.
'Worst case scenario... '
"Found you" A mysterious voice came from behind him. It seems he was caught...
Finn raised both his hands.
"Don't move an inch kid and I won't hurt you, I'm unarmed right now so you don't have to worry."
'He's alone?'
The sounds of foot steps were approaching him but... it only belonged to one person.
As the footsteps came closer and closer Finn was standing silently.
'S.B.A.... Immobilize him'
"Argh"
In the next second he heard a body hit the ground and then he turned.
A golden thread was tied around the man as if it was a rope he was dangling from the roof of the room struggling to get unstuck. The rope was also tied around the mans mouth so he couldn't speak.
Finn looked at the man with resentment, his eyes wandering down toward the mans hands.
'That was close...'
The man was still holding onto the sword he was going to kill Finn with. Finn forcibly pulled the sword out of the mans hand but the due to his arms being too weak the sword fell off his hands.
Finn searched the man for anything helpful in the end he ended up getting a match box and a hand knife.
He hid the match box in S.B.A's inventory and kept the knife in his hand.
Finn quickly made his was to the armory again carefully made his was to where he found S.B.A.
'Where is it?'
[It should be in the wire box next to my storage tube.]
He quickly found the box but it required a key.
'I don't have time for this'
He used the knife to crack open the box inside he saw it the control chip and pulled it out its socket.
He heard something in the next second though it was as if a big metal door quickly pulled open again.
Finn rubbed his hands on his temples. 'Why do I have to miss every small detail!'
Pulling the control chip meant that the door would have to open now since S.B.A didn't have control over it now.
He quickly stored the chip in the his inventory.
A swift shadow was moving from the corner of his eye that made Finn instinctively fall back which had just saved him because right Infront of him the warrior was standing tall and strong his sword out and already on Finn's neck.
The touch of the cold metal on his skin had his body screaming to escape and run away but he couldn't, one move and Finn would be dead.
Finn now realized one feature of the warrior that he had missed before.
'His ears... They're elongated!'
Finn built up all the courage he had in him to ask the next question.
"What is a foreign like you doing here if i may ask?"
Finn could swear the look on that mans face darkened or his already domineering frown became more frightening.
But it was short lived because in the next second he felt a sharp pain in his abdomen and his body collapsed his vision became blurry and then darker then soon he couldn't see at all.
