As Kargalen's head dropped straight to the ground, he thought to himself "I've always been the kind of person to care about his comrades. I'd check up on my friends when I had the chance, especially when I finally became a soldier. I had two teammates who later became my lovers. Naxa and Fuya. Kazuma walked up to Kargalen's head and saw it had a defeated smile, he just watched it, Kazuma didn't say a word. Kazuma thought to himself while feeling a little bit of companion "Its not his fault, but it was still his fault. In this world, weak people blame others, he'd be a fool if he blamed the world around him rather than himself.". Kazuma looked at the ceiling "Well, at the same time, it wasn't his fault. If I realised that my government was using me to commit crimes that don't have justification, I'd rebel as well. Looks like he was just another good guy in bad circumstances, reminds me of when you're reading a manga, or when you're playing a game on story mode.". Yuji called to Kazuma "Hey, Kazuma.You good?", Kazuma turned to him and replied "Yeah, I'm doing fine. What of you? You got a pretty bad blow to the stomach.", Yuji just scratched his head with a soft smirk on his face "Yeah, but I'm fine now, trust.". Yuji and Kazuma both heared a tired laugh, they turned to the front and saw Kargalen's decapitated head laughing, the boys were immediately creeped out "WHAT THE FUCK?", they muttered to themselves In shock. Kargalen's head then exclaimed with a tired smirk "Looks like you kids have won! But if I were you, I'd run out of this base as fast as I can.". The lights of the base flashed red and beeping sounds were being made, Kazuma and Yuji looked around with shock "Huh?", they exclaimed to themselves. Kargalen explained "I rigged this entire base with explosives that respond to my heart beat. Now that my heart beat has stopped and I'm dead, the place is about to go off. Good luck kids.", Yuji shot a bolt of blue lightning that struck Kargalen's head. Yuji clicked his tounge with visible irritation "Creepy motherfucker.", Kazuma turned to him "Quickly, let's get out of here.". Kazuma and Yuji immediately ran as fast as they possibly could, as they were running through the halls, the metal doors behind them were closing up. Kazuma and Yuji had ran past nine of those doors, Yuji took note of this and explained to Kazuma "These doors are closing in on us fast. If we were Any slower, we'd be trapped. And if we were to get out, we'd have to use energy to bust open the doors, and you and I are quite low on that.". Kazuma replied while running along side Yuji, he had a face of wary and difficulty "I know you jackass.", Yuji replied "Don't call me a jackass you numbskull!". They were getting closer to the exit of the base they came from, they heard a computer voice counting down "5,4,3,2,1". Yuji and Kazuma jumped out of the base before it blew up. As for Kargalen's who's head was still alive with a smirk, he thought to himself "Looks like I go out with a bang. Its a good thing i used my mind control abilities on myself before i got decapitated. It was so i could creep those kids out and give them a final warning. They have skills and talents, they'd make powerful soliders if they keep this up.", his eyes tilted to Nexa, Theo and Fuya's dead bodies "Don't worry, I'll join you guys soon.", the flames of the explosion consumed him. Kazuma and Yuji jumped into the forest, although, a part of the explosion from the base took out a part of the forest around it. Kazuma and Yuji had gone to a safe distance and were taking a break on a tree, both boys were breathing heavily, Kazuma and Yuji stopped breathing heavily before they started to laugh. Kazuma and Yuji were laughing with excitement, Kazuma exclaimed "That was fun, not going to lie!", Yuji replied "Yeah, it was fun. Very fun for that matter!". Kazuma and Yuji looked at the base that had blow up, Kazuma then says "Its a pain when you realise that we could have been dead and consumed by that explosion.", Yuji replied "Well, but we're not the one's in that explosion so.... lets just go. We have to catch up with Regina and Volt.". Yuji took off, Kazuma turned to him "Straight to the point huh?", and leapt after him. Meanwhile Volt was fighting for his life as he was running at lightning speeds through the entire forest, he was chased by the giant snake that was blasting powerful flames at him, while Vanhell was using her chain hook to send slashes of yellow lightning at him. Volt had an excited look on his face as he was dodging flames that were incinerating the trees around him, as well as dodging slashes of lightning that would have killed him if they had hit him. Vanhell was yelling with excitement while sending slashes of lightning at Volt "What's the matter? Why are you running?! Face me! FIGHT ME!". Volt turned around with a deranged smirk and his arms completely turned into electricity "YOU WANT THE SMOKE? YOU CAN HAVE IT!", he scremed with excitement and blasted a huge burst of lightning at Vanhell's lightning slashes as well as the giant blasts of flames flying at him from the snake. The attacks from both lightning, electricity and flames clashed and caused a huge explosion that took out trees and other parts of the forest. The huge snake along with Vanhell came bursting out of the explosions of the clash of attacks and were heading straight for Volt at top speed. Volt with a deranged smile charged up more energy on his arms and started blasting huge and powerful bolts of electricity at Vanhell and the attribute snake. Vanhell and her giant snake were just slithering and dodging the power beams of electricity flying their way. Vanhell also had a look of deranged excitement on her face and used her weapon to release a slash of lightning at Volt. Volt dodged this attack and blitzed her with a kick that sent her crashing through trees with Volts feet on her face, Volt was extremely excited, it was like he almost forgot that he was in a life or death situation. The huge attribute snake appeared behind him and fired a huge beam of flames at Volt. Volt turned back with a deranged smile,coated his body with all the electricity he had and tanked the beam. The beam was so powerful that it wiped out everything around it with a single swipe like a blade, even Regina who was on her way to save Volt almost got hit by the beam despite being a few hundred meters away. This beam sliced and incinerated the trees around her, Regina was stunned "What the hell?! Was that a beam of fire? How can something like that have so much range?", she turned to her front and kept running "Volt I hope you're okay!".
