As the team were in Fugaku's office, the air was serious and the room was extremely quiet. Kazuma thought to himself "Why the hell is everything so serious all of a sudden?", Yuji also thought to himself "Somethings wrong. I know a serious situation when I feel it, and this is a very critical one.". Fugaku broke the silence "Kids, there is a very important mission I need you all for. Have you all heard of the *Hornets Web Cult*?". Yuji paused for a moment "Hornets Webs? What the hell is that?", Baroka replied "No, I haven't.". Regina then explained "Yes, I have. Infact, it was a mission that Marallda and I were supposed to go by ourselves this morning before the person instructing us called it off.". Fugaku took a sigh and continued to explain "This is a cult that goes around killing people from other nearby cities. They kill people and use their hearts and their bones to create some sort of weapons.". Mio was a bit stunned "What?", she muttered with irritation, Yuki muttered to herself while feeling annoyed "Tch, even I wouldn't do that. And while I was growing up, I was told my ability was creepy.". Fugaku then explained "They're base seems to be in other places in the world, but there are only three bases we've discovered.". Fugaku started to operate on his tablet and turned the map of his tablet to the kids, he explained "The locations we know of are the one's in the dark forest that is about 600 kilometres away. The second one we know of is 30 kilometres east from the base in the forest, and the third one Is 60 kilometres west from the first base. That one is located in another forest filled with dangerous beasts that could make average C-ranks lose their minds.". Kazuma thought to himself "Wow, that wasn't something I was expecting. What kind of beasts are there?", he tilted his head towards Kito "Hey, Kito. You have any idea on what kind of beasts are there?", Kito replied "Probably giant lion beasts, huge ass attribute snakes and probably giant mosquitoes 12 times the size of humans that could individyally suck down an entire human infested city within a day.". Yuji on hearing this had a slightly irritated look on his face and muttered "Mosquitoes alone are already a problem, making them bigger than humans is just evil work at its finest.". Fugaku continued to explained "You all would be divided into two groups. One group would go to the first base, the second group would go to the second base. As for the third base, some of the elite soldiers in this city would take care of it.". Kito then asked a question "Lord Fugaku, if I may. Going into said territory without proper technology is dangerous. Not just that, but there might be some sort of technology they have at their advantage that would track us before we even get to said locations. What do we do if they started to attack us from a far distance?". Fugaku replied "Smart kid, you think really well. Don't worry, I will send drones with you guys. We have tech masters that would easily hack through whatever technology that might be there to track you down. Believe me, you kids will survive.", Kito turned his head with a wierd smile and muttered to himself "With the way he's saying It, he's started to make me think other wise.", Yuji also had the same facial expressions "I feel the same way too.", he also muttered. About 30 minutes later, everyone was outside, they had bought some daggers and with some of them holding weapons like guns to prepare themselves, they were all ready to go. Kito explained "So, who is going to be group one an two?", Yuji explained "Well before we start, we should understand how well our abilities would work together.". Mio also explained "Yeah, Yuji has a point. Although, all of us have strong abilities and combat skills. But if I were to choose anything else, I'd say we need a good sensing unit.". Yuki then added "I can help with that, my monster mouths have good sensing abilities through smell.". Gwen explained "Yeah, I also have good sensing abilities as well.". Kito sighed "Okay, if that's the case, then it's settled. We all have good combat abilities, our abilities are insanely sharp and destructive, and we have a good sensory team too. All I can say now is that we should be sharp and make sure not to get tricked so easily.". Kazuma then added with a smirk "That and the fact that we shouldn't be too confident. For there to be a criminal group that can go around stealing hearts and using bones as weapons.....", his smirk started to curl up and widen "They are probably dangerous people.". Yuji prepared his daggers "Yeah, I agree. So let's do this now. Myself, Volt, Kazuma and Regina should go for the first base. I've seen all three of us spar against each other, our abilities work well together since we've experienced our own fighting styles. We would be group 1". Mio smiled mildly "Okay, so that means, myself, Yuki, Lydia, White,Kito, Rem, Rachel and Baroka would go together.", she turned to Gwen "Sorry for forgetting you in the mix, that was a honest mistake.". Gwen replied Mio "Nah, its fine. Marallda and I were actually supposed to go to the other base that was 30 Kilometres away from the original base.". Lydia then asked "Wait, isn't that dangerous? Lord Fugaku just explained that the forest there has beasts that would make a C-rank shit themselves.", Rachel also added "Yeah, Lydia is right. That place is meant for other assassins and soliders to go to, not us.". Gwen waved her hand "Its fine, i was supposed to go on that mission along side Marallda instead of Regina. And plus, i don't really think the monsters there would be too much to handle with Marallda's ability.". Marallda explained with a nervous smile "I'm kind of happy that you have faith in me, but there are limits to what my gravity manipulation can do.". Gwen waved her hand "Nah, its fine. If worse comes to worse, we'll just deep.", she brought out a device from her pocket and wore it on her leg, the device activated and started glowing blue before it switched off. Gwen then smirked "Now, shall we get going?", Kazuma and Kito smirked "Sure, why not?". Rem just smiled nervously "I already have a bad feeling about this.", Mio also smiled nervously along with Rachel "Same here.", Mio said. Lydia thought to herself "We're gonna die.", White on the other hand had a straight face, he clicked his tounge "I can already envision her thinking we're all gonna die.". Kazuma then exclaimed "Last one to get there is a loser.", he zoomed off. Kito got annoyed "A challenge huh? Guess I can have fun before things get serious.". The rest of the team felt excited as they too also zoomed off "Hey, wait up.", Mio exclaimed. Yuji and Volt who seemed to be the only ones left behind both smiled, they zoomed off at tremendous speeds. As Yuji caught up with Kazuma, his eyes tilted to Regina, he noticed her purple eyes were very serious even tho her face wasn't "Wow, her eyes look like that of killer, similar to mine. I wanted to talk with her earlier, but I didn't want to do anything rash since she and I feel so excited talking to each other. I hope she doesn't have the wrong idea of me ignoring her.". Regina thought to herself "Yuji. I want to hugg you so much right now."
