I was now swinging full-speed toward the Presidential Hotel. After I gave the files to Matt yesterday, he wasted no time—Wilson Fisk's crimes were exposed to the world. Now, the NYPD had surrounded the hotel, attempting to bring him in. But of course, someone like Kingpin wouldn't surrender quietly.
I had to get there fast. Too many officers were already injured, and the longer this dragged on, the more chaos would unfold."System, put 1 points in Strength and 1 in Defense."
[ Ding... Strength: 15 → 16 | Defense: 10 → 11]
'Alright… time to end this,' I thought, speeding up and tightening my grip on the web lines.
—3rd Person POV—
A news chopper hovered in the air, cameras zoomed in on the Presidential Hotel, broadcasting the siege live. Reporters talked over the noise of sirens and gunfire, tension thick in the air.
Suddenly, the camera panned down. A figure in black landed gracefully in front of a group of NYPD officers.
"It's Spider-Man! He's here!" the reporter shouted into the mic."Maybe he can end this—he fought that green monster before, after all!"
—Peter POV—
I landed hard, the ground cracking beneath my boots. Officers nearby turned, some startled, others nodding at me in recognition.
"How many inside?" I asked quickly.
"Ten on the first floor," one officer replied, "and an unknown number upstairs. We tried storming in, but they barricaded the doors after taking casualties."
I nodded and looked up. No time to waste.
I leapt up the building, scanning for an opening. There—a large glass window on the side. I activated my invisibility, anchored myself to the wall, pulled back my fist, and—
CRASH!
The window shattered into shards, raining down like glittering snow. I slipped inside undetected, clinging to the ceiling. The ten armed thugs below looked toward the sound, guns raised—but they saw nothing.
I reached for my Stingers as electricity surged through my arms.I deactivated my invisibility mid-air, dropping into the middle of them like a bolt of judgment.
CRACKLE!!
Before they could react, I disabled their weapons with precise stinger strikes. Sparks flew as metal was severed. I retracted the blades and started swinging—fists flying, bodies dropping. No hesitation.
In less than a minute, the room was filled with groans and unconscious men.
I didn't stop. I headed straight to the second floor, clearing each room, disarming and knocking out Fisk's private goons. Eventually, I reached the main office.
I kicked the door open.
The room was dim, lit only by the glow of several high-end monitors. Wilson Fisk stood in front of them, massive and unmoving. He turned slowly, his shadow consuming half the room.
"Do you really think you can stop me by throwing me in a cell?" he sneered."Chaos will follow. A ship needs its captain. I keep the order in this city."
"I'll deal with the chaos," I replied. "But you? Your reign ends tonight."
With a roar, he hurled a massive table at me. I dodged and shot two webs to its edges, swinging it midair and hurling it back. He smashed it aside with a brutal punch—but I was already gone.
I flashed behind him, slamming my boot into the side of his head, making him stagger. I shot webs at his legs and slid underneath, yanking hard—he fell like a toppled building.
I jumped and landed on his chest, webbing both his wrists down.Electricity sparked across my fists.
I began hammering his face—one blow after another—until his meaty fist struck back, sending me flying into a wall.
[ 100 HP – ]
Pain exploded through my ribs.
Fisk charged like a rhino. I webbed his face, vaulted over him, and he crashed into the wall instead.
"You're fast, bug... but I'll CRUSH you!"
"Pretty fast for a guy who can't even sleep on a regular bed," I muttered.
As he pulled off the webs, I rushed in, electricity crackling around my fist. I slammed it into his gut.
BOOM!!
The shockwave was immense—both of us were blasted back from the force.
[ 50 HP – ]
[ Ding... New Skill Generated: (Electric Shock) — Deliver a devastating electric shock using fist or leg. Warning: Current body condition insufficient. Using the skill costs 25 HP. Required: Strength 20 | Defense 20. ]
'System, buy an HP potion.'
[ Ding... HP Potion bought. Stored in inventory. 3 uses total. 1 use = 200 HP. ]
I wiped the blood from my mouth and stood up. Fisk was struggling to rise, panting hard.
I flashed to him, slamming my newly charged fist into his face. He flew into the wall again.
[ 50 HP – ]
Pain flared through my own bones. My body wasn't ready for this power—but I couldn't stop now.
I approached, breathing hard. My fists flew—left, right, left—until the wall behind him cracked with every blow. Blood trickled from his nose and lip.
"This is the end, Fisk," I said through clenched teeth. "Another rotten thorn plucked from this city."
I lifted my fist for one final, electric-charged punch.
—News Camera POV—
The news reporter was mid-sentence."It's been 30 minutes since Spider-Man entered the—"
CRASH!!!
The building's wall exploded outward. The camera zoomed in just in time to catch a massive figure slamming into the pavement below.
"WHAT THE—" the reporter blurted out before his curse was bleeped.
The camera panned out. On a TV in a small living room, a woman stood in silence watching the scene unfold.
Her hand trembled as she muttered quietly:"Be safe, Peter… please…"
—Peter POV—
I leapt after Fisk's falling body, i webbed his body and pulled then released storming towards him like a canon shot stomping down hard as we hit the street.BOOM!
The ground cratered beneath us. I stood on top of him, suit torn, hands bloodied, chest heaving.
He muttered with the last of his breath:
"…It's… not… the end…"
Cameras pointed at me from every direction. Reporters screamed questions. Flashing lights filled the night.
I couldn't stay. I launched a web and vanished into the dark sky, heart still pounding.
