Ryuji stared at the screen with a pondering look. He wondered what gift he'd get on the second Blackmail. The revelation of Adrian being behind the System didn't really change anything for him.
At best, a small wish had sprouted in his heart.
He'd love to catch up with Adrian before he died.
Shaking his head Ryuji focused on the System Screen. He didn't immediately add the point to his Physique instead he focused on one of his attributes.
And just like he thought, there was a change.

He shifted his gaze upward and immediately clicked the (+) next to the Physique section.
There was an immediate change.
[Physique- 0.9] → [Physique- 1.4]
Ryuji's eyes widened as a burst of pain assaulted him immediately. He should've expected this. The System wasn't just increasing his strength with a click of its 'hand'. Everything, everything inside his body was going through a massive change.
His muscles tore and healed, his skin peeled and fell off, new skin taking its place. A black goo-like substance began seeping out of all the pores in his body. His vision went blank and he became blind. His hearing disappeared and his sense of touch faded away.
For a few moments, Ryuji felt as if he was stuck in a void.
After an indescribable amount of time, Ryuji woke up gasping for breath. Immediately, a nauseating, incredibly pungent smell spread across the room. Ryuji hurriedly bolted towards the bathroom and washed himself off before seriously examining himself in the mirror.
A ripple of shock flashed through his eyes.
His skin... it was better than anything he had ever seen. It almost held an ethereal quality. In simple words, his skin was the best it could be. No little scars, no pigmentation, no minor tanning. His entire body had shredded a layer of skin, like performing metamorphosis.
And that wasn't all.
His vision had become unprecedentedly clear, so much that the world felt like it was in HD compared to before. He could even read the small text on the labels of the few items from far away, a feat previously unimaginable. His hearing, his senses... A full upgrade.
And lastly...
Ryuji stared at his naked upper half in pleasant surprise. It seemed he had shed a layer of fat as well, his muscle mass had clearly increased. He now sported a full six-pack of abs though they weren't entirely filled, making them appear somewhat flat. His obliques were well developed and every line of his muscle could be highlighted even in bad highlighting.
Had the World Essence substituted protein?
Whatever it was, the previous weakness was gone.
Looking at his sharp jawline and impeccable facial features Ryuji couldn't help but smile. He had reached a level of looks ordinary students couldn't hope to achieve.
Every single pore of his body was clean.
It reminded him of those body-cleansing sections of Wuxia and Xianxia.
Ryuji felt his thoughts get clearer, many things he hadn't been able to recall were slowly being extracted. He had become sharper. Was this the added bonus of intelligence? If upgraded enough could he reach the level of Ayanokoji? Or even... surpass him in computing speed?
A strange thrill ran through his veins.
Even without all these perks, Ryuji had no doubt he'd dominate this school. Maybe not physically, but with the knowledge he had, it was a losing battle for whoever was against him, whether it be Ayanokoji or Sakayanagi.
And now that he had all these advantages...?
A soft smile spread across his face as he stared at the mirror.
He wasn't done with the System.

Ryuji's smile widened as he processed the meaning of this.
So each upgrade consumes half a point. I wonder if the value is fixed.
Would the next upgrade also give him an increase of 0.5?
Ryuji wasted no time in upgrading his Physique again.

Ryuji grunted as he clenched his teeth, grinding them with intensity. The pain was intense, unlike anything he had ever experienced. But this time there was no odd phenomenon of losing his senses nor was there any 'Body Cleansing'.
Looks like his Physique had become as pure as it could be. Unless he accumulated toxins again there would be no 'Body Cleansing'.
He clenched his fists and a sense of fulfillment filled him.
Almost there... almost as strong as my past life.
Ryuji frowned, if using the System's calculation he must've been around 2.3 or 2.4 in terms of strength previously.
The next point he gained would be utilised on his abilities. Once he determined how a single point affected both attributes he could smartly plan his future distribution.
I wonder what the strength stat of someone like Koenji or Ayanokoji would be?
While this was a world based on 'realism' Ryuji knew it was tethering on the brink of collapsing. After Volume 0 was released Ayanokoji himself raised the level of the world of Classroom of the Elite by at least a half.
After all, what kind of stat in Physique did one need to defeat 6-7 trained adults without a hint of difficulty at the age of around ten?
Monster...
The word popped up naturally. There was no better descriptor for Ayanokoji than a monster. As his memory got better Ryuji truly understood the extent of his greatest opponent in ANHS.
But Ryuji wasn't disheartened, with the 'gift' from his little brother he was destined to trample on them all.
But for that, he had to calculate things properly.
He picked his notebook up and began writing calmly.
Assuming the System only chooses relevant characters and not just named females, in the first year my targets would be—
• Horikita Suzune
• Karuizawa Kei (conquered)
• Kushida Kikyo
• Sakura Airi
• Matsushita Chiaki (?)
• Mio Ibuki
• Hiyori Shiina (?)
• Ichinose Honami
• Arisu Sakayanagi
• Chabashira Sae
'(?)' Meant he wasn't sure if the System would include them. Matsushita and Hiyori played mostly a very minor role in the novels, barely better than some useless named females.
If it's just these girls then that'd be 9 more System Points and a total of 9 in Physique, should I choose not to upgrade my abilities. That's utterly insane. I'd become borderline superhuman or scratch that—!
Having nine times the strength of an average adult male was way too much. I'd be practically invincible though I'm a bit uncertain. I'll have to track my progress in the gym stealthily to make sure just how much I've truly gained.
Because it's not just raw strength anymore.
Let's say I blackmail Kushida, Horikita and Airi successfully and dump all my points in Physique.
At just 4 points in Physique, I'd already be benching hundreds of kilos, running faster than Olympic sprinters, and throwing punches hard enough to crack ribs through a padded jacket.
But what makes it even more terrifying is how everything scales together—my speed, my reflexes, my ability to think under pressure. The power doesn't rise linearly. It compounds.
People think four times the strength means four times the impact. It doesn't. Add speed to that, and suddenly it's eight times the force.
Throw in better coordination and sharper instincts, and now you're not just stronger—you're practically unbeatable unless severely outclassed in skill.
At ten points? I don't even know if anything short of a truck could stop me and perhaps I might even survive a direct collision.
Because the higher the level of my Physique the greater the compound.
Every point past 10 would be multiplying my strength by three or four times at the very least.
Ryuji could imagine it, by the end of his first year he'd be practically invincible if he successfully blackmailed all the girls.
Till then he'd have to ensure he made no mistakes. Even if he ends up expelled or jailed at least he could restart a career in a fighting sport for easy money.
His path in life was clear.
Once he reached five points he'd be able to let loose.
With that thought in mind, without bothering to dress himself, Ryuji, sitting on the floor, leaned against the bottom of the bed and fell asleep.
Since Karuizawa had fallen asleep it was better to not have her accidentally wake up just because he wanted to use the bed.
She needed proper rest.
