Quick notice: Those of you who follow this story over on SpaceBattles (probably) already know this, but I wanted to give a heads up over here as well.
Last Sunday, I had a car accident. Thankfully, I was only bruised and shaken up and the damage to the car, while extensive, was only surface level, leaving my engine and axels intact. Due to extreme rain fall and worse roads than I'm used to, my car started to swerve in the middle of a corner. I tried to countersteer, but instead I slammed into the guard rails. A good thing too, since otherwise there'd been a couple of dozen feet deep drop onto another highway.
All in all, I'm thankful how lucky I was in getting out of that situation without major injury, though the experience, as well as the resulting damages and stress, mean that I won't be focusing on writing for a little while. Once I'm in a better headspace again, I'll pick up the story where it left off.
