Sokudo and Lucy made their way to their next class, gym. When they got there the other students were already doing their warm-ups exercises. Sokudo got to the ground and started to stretch before doing his sit-ups. After most of his warm-ups he moves on to push-ups, but he just stays there in the top position, unmoving.
"You okay?" She asked.
"Sit on my back." He said.
"W-why?" She asked.
"Regular push-ups don't effect me anymore." He said.
"Oh okay." She said as she walked over and sat on his back.
Right then he began to push up and down, rep after rep he puahed. Soon he'd already done over thirty repps but the teacher called for them.
"Alright you two its time for cardio." The teacher said.
The two of them joined the class in running around the gym, Sokudo ran at the front of the class with speeds reduced to humanly possible levels. The boy behind him watched as he effortlessly jogged ahead of his top speed.
(No im the fastest here, i wont let some new kid pass me up!)
The boy took off trying to catch up using every muscle fiber in his body to push himself forward. Sokudo glanced back and saw the boy actually gaining on him.
"You're... slow." He said as he took off leaving the kid in the dust.
The boy begins to tumble before falling into a full blown human slide, bouncing and tumbling across the gym floor before slamming into the brick wall. Sokudo stopped and jogged back to the boy and looked down at him.
"You're slow and sloppy... but that's human..." He said as he held out his hand to help the kid up.
Just before their hands touch an alarm begins to yell.
"We are now on lockdown, an unknown assailant is in the hall's, we do not know if they have any weapons but they are aggressive." The alarm explained.
"Alright kids follow me." The teacher said as he scanned the students.
"What the..." The boy said as he looked back in front of him and saw empty space where Sokudo was.
Meanwhile in another part of the school a boy put his hand on a door handle and opened it breaking the lock like paper. He stepped into the class with several student's hiding.
"Found you-" He exclaimed but was cut off by a blue hand grabbing him by the collar and yanking him out of the class and into the hall... and a locker.
He grabs the door holds up a hand of apology to the class before closing the door. He looks back at the boy and steps towards him.
"You have business with me not them." Sokudo said from beneath his mask with a warped voice.
"How do you see in that thing?" The boy asked.
"Retro reflective panels on the inside let me see the outside with perfect clarity." He explained.
"Well either way it wont help you against me ill make them all pay!" The boy said as he rushed at him.
Sokudo sidesteps the boy's attack, watching as he falls past.
"Why are you so vengeful?" He asked the boy.
"Why? It's because every single day they bully me! One day they'll shove my head in the toilet then the next day they're making me drink three week old milk, I've gotten so sick my mom's gone into debt taking me to the hospital and we cant get any heallth insurance due to my repeated illnesses. I have to make my siblings pretend they dont know me so they don't get picked on like me!" He screamed.
"I can help." Sokudo said.
"No it's too late for that... i'm going to assert my strength and overthrow the government... and i'm not worried about any heroes stopping me, just last week i was only slightly stronger than a human." The boy said before swinging his elbow back landing on his rib.
Sokudo is knocked back all the way down the hall colliding with the wall.
(Augh thankfully i inlayed my suit with a material that can absorb 99% of kinetic energy under all the plated parts of my suit as well as my ribs and parts of my boots, the back of my hand and my knuckles have it too.)
"You aren't winning this fight! I can punch with the force of a charging rhino, even with armor you can't take more than a couple of these." The boy said.
"Bet." He said as he rushed at the boy.
His fist collides with the boy's fice followed up by a torrent of punches before he stops. The boy looks back at him before spitting out some blood.
"I only felt the first one." The boy said before slamming his fist into Sokudo's rib.
(I gotta endure all his attacks!)
The boy continues his assault, his fists slamming into his opponents body. He tries to punch him in the face but Sokudo leans back avoiding the attack but gets caught by another rib shot.
(It feels like my liver is begging me to give up!)
The boy sends another punch for his face and this time the pain is too much to dodge and it connects sending him crashing head first into the lockers. The boy repeatedly slams his fist into the downed speedster. As he is being beaten down he reaches out his hand weakly. He taps his knuckle against the boy's chest and all that built up energy from all his attack's is released instantly into his chest launching him into the ceiling. Sokudo's body crackles with blue lightning before disappearing and soon after the flash appears at the scene.
"Uh guy's the situation has already been dealt with, was that you wally?" He spoke into his ear piece.
"No, I'll ask the others if it was any of them." Wally said from the other end and barry disappears from the scene.
Shortly after a a blur of blue lightning flew through an apartment complex and disappeared into an apartment. Sokudo deactivated his suit making it transform into a white snd blue school bag and slouched onto his bed. The air conditioner fires at full blast as Sokudo lay in his bed bleeding and bruised.
(Aughh im gonna need to get faster and stronger if i want to win from now on)
A while later a knock is heard at the door, he stands up and stumbles over to the door when he hears lucy.
"Are you okay Sokudo... i couldnt find you at school during the the lockdown... and i tried to find you afterwards but i couldnt..." She spoke on the other side of the door.
Sokudo stood there leaning against the wall in pain and silence.
"You're probably not even home... i dont know why im talking to a door..." she said as she was about to walk away when the door opened.
Sokudo peered through the crack at Lucy.
"Thank you for looking for me... i might need your help..." He said.
