Quirk Singularity was one of the most prominent theories in Luke's previous life regarding Quirks.
It was postulated by a young Dr. Kyudai.
With the Quirks blending and evolving with each generation, becoming more powerful and complex, they would also become more difficult to control as the humans didn't evolve at the same rate.
There would come a time when the Quirks would become so overpowered that no one would be able to control them, bringing an end to humanity itself.
Unsurprisingly, the entire world mocked Dr. Kyudai, and he went missing shortly after publishing the theory.
But, with the return of All For One, and later Tomura Shigaraki during the Final War, everyone realized that Quirk Singularity hadn't been a wild fantasy, but a punishing reality.
Not all had discarded the theory in Luke's previous life, though.
Mr. Reijirou Saionji, the Head of Saionji Group, had taken it seriously. Seriously enough to confine a 14-year-old Luke to the Blue Site for ten years.
If Luke and Momo had birthed children, then, theoretically, such children had the highest chances of preventing humanity's doomsday because of the Quirk Singularity.
Luke's entire life had been dictated by these two words, so he had dedicated his life willingly to researching it as well.
That's how Quirk Conformity took birth in the world.
After racking his brains over it for years, Luke had theorized that all the Quirks in the world shared a single origin and, thus, had a natural tendency to converge.
Momo had inferred this theory the best by stating that Luke meant — The existence of a being, or a Quirk, like All For One in the world was not only repetitive but also inevitable!
Like Dr. Kyudai, the entire world had mocked Luke's theory as well.
But, this time, they had one simple reason — Even 8 years after the Final War, when All For One disappeared from the world, no such being had ever been found again.
Luke, on the other hand, believed that it was just a matter of time before they found one.
But, before his theory could unearth the hidden demons and devils, he and his family had died, killing humanity's hope in Momo's womb.
So, when Mr. Fool finally mentioned these two words, a chill ran down Luke's spine, fearing that whatever he had believed them to be… they were more than that.
"Tell me, Luke, what does the word Singularity mean?" Mr. Fool asked.
"A point in space-time where a function takes an infinite…" Luke stopped midway.
Mr. Fool put his hand down and shook his head. "Science is good, but let's not drift away from the roots. What does Singularity mean?"
Luke held his chin, thoughtful. After a moment, gathering his thoughts, he said, "The state or quality of being… Singular."
"Yes." Mr. Fool nodded as if satisfied by the answer. "Quality of being Singular… Uniqueness."
Uniqueness… Luke's brows furrowed. Wait a minute…
"You must have realized, then," Mr. Fool said. "Quirk Singularity is about the convergence of the Quirk and the consequences and repercussions of such a phenomenon. Yet, Singularity itself is about Uniqueness.
"Meanwhile, Conformity is about Rules, Laws, and Standards. Yet, the theory of Quirk Conformity is the farthest from people's perception of current rules and standards.
"Do you see the paradoxical nature of these two theories?"
Luke fell silent for a moment, finding it incomprehensible that he never thought of it before.
"But…" he said with a heavy frown, "… these are only words…"
"Nothing is as simple as it sounds in Mysticism," Mr. Fool guided Luke. "Just like the effect of watching the Blue and Red Spirit Particles.
"The Blue Spirit Particles pushed you away, suggesting a subtle nature of the Force, or Existence, behind them.
"The Red Spirit Particles pulled you in, suggestive of a much more active, and confronting, nature."
Luke was gobsmacked. "I never… thought of it like that…"
The fog around Mr. Fool churned slightly. "A Seer's journey in the path of Mysticism is full of uncertainties, Luke. For someone who has never come in contact with such concepts, you are already doing fine. But, yes, you have much to learn."
Though reluctantly, Luke nodded.
"I have a theory," Mr. Fool said, making Luke put his arms on the table. "It goes like this.
"There are two Forces in your world that govern the Quirks' nature and all phenomena related to them.
"One is Singularity that represents the Uniqueness of Quirks. The other is Conformity which represents the Convergence of Quirks.
"Both Singularity and Conformity tend to maintain the status quo of what they represent.
"Singularity tends to maintain the Uniqueness of Quirks, which, coincidentally perhaps, goes againstConformity.
"Meanwhile, Conformity tends to Converge the Quirks, which, again, goes against Singularity."
Luke stared at Mr. Fool, disbelieving that this existence had come up with this in the last few moments.
It wasn't just intelligence.
It felt like Mr. Fool was breaking down mysteries right in front of his eyes.
Luke licked his lips, a heavy feeling settling in his heart.
He had thought there were Villains, or Heroes, behind everything that happened to him.
Now, as Mr. Fool decrypted those mysteries for him, he believed he had grossly underestimated the scale of things in his world.
Mr. Fool tapped his fingers on the table's edge.
"Now, Quirks causing mutations in humans, when converged in a single lifeform," Mr. Fool continued, "is nothing but Singularity's way to end the Status Quo of Convergence.
"On the other hand, individual Quirks becoming overpowered and uncontrollable in lifeforms is nothing but Conformity's way to end the Status Quo of Uniqueness.
"And, by this, we can confirm that the Red Spirit Particles must belong to Conformity as its nature is confrontational with Singularity.
"The Blue Spirit Particles must belong to Singularity, which also gives us an idea why you never saw the Blue Supermassive Black Hole in your father's dreams."
"That was…" Luke's nonexistent breath caught in his lungs, "… Singularity?"
Mr. Fool nodded. "We are only guessing here, Luke," He said. "That's the nature of Mysticism. It is you who must confirm the guesses. But…
"… we can definitely say that what you thought of Quirk Singularity is just Conformity's retaliation as, in the same way, your theory of Quirk Conformity results in Singularity's retaliation."
Luke stared at the table hard, knowing exactly what Mr. Fool was trying to tell him.
If there was a child… who could… who could… who could put an end to Conformity's retaliation of making Quirks overpowered and uncontrollable, then…
… wouldn't Conformity erase that child from existence…
… even if that child hadn't been born yet?
"It's hard to confirm," Mr. Fool said, putting weight on the words by saying it again. "You must tread these mysteries carefully, Luke. The chances of losing control while confronting such existences are 100%.
"Also, if I am not guessing wrong, then your act of gathering followers and bringing my religion to your world might attract retaliation from both Conformity and Singularity."
Why?! Luke left the question unasked. He was already trying hard to bury the burning feeling of exacting revenge against an existence that was… vastly incomprehensible.
"I have a task for you," Mr. Fool said, making Luke look up. "Search history. Go as far as you can. Find out if there are concepts like Conformity and Singularity mentioned by anyone, even in the Quirkless era, or not."
Luke didn't understand the reason behind it, but he nodded, nonetheless.
"Alright," Mr. Fool said. "Let's end it here."
Guided by a very strong feeling, Luke stood up and put his right hand on his chest. "Thank you, Mr. Fool."
This time, Luke could have sworn he heard a chuckle.
Then, with a snap of Mr. Fool's finger, Luke melted away in the gray fog.
