Zhu Rong had sensed a strange fluctuation of energy when he finished hunting the beasts after leaving the lizard cave, so he headed in that direction, 


eventually coming across the two girls in danger.


At first, he thought the cause of that fluctuation was the panther, but after examining it, he realized it wasn't.


He set the matter aside for the moment as he proceeded to save the girls, 


but later, just as he was finishing dealing with Li Daniu's lackeys, he felt that same fluctuation of energy again,


He immediately understood that whatever beast it was, it was powerful and now had targeted them.


So he didn't waste time and warned everyone to run.


Thanks to his timely warning, the girls managed to get to safety, 


and even the two unconscious lackeys managed to stay safe, as ironically, 


the beast ended up going after the closest prey left, Li Daniu.
