Chapter 5 - Ep.5

Juan was gifted and no one could dispute that however he wasn't perfect as he clearly stated.

But that didn't mean that he wouldn't try his hardest to try and learn something properly.

"When we go to the Island I will summon my Golems to fight the monsters. We won't be fighting."

Sara was naturally suspicious as the entire point of the third test was to see how well they could fight against the beasts.

"If we're not going to fight then what will we be doing? I'm not going to just sit back and get carried through the third test."

Juan gave a slight grin and then told them his true goal.

"Not even if it means forming a Triple Mana Core?"

Everyone including those who were down below were shocked to hear Juan stating he was going to help them form a triple mana core.

Mana was very versatile and could be used for anything, in fact Juan uses his Mana constantly to extend his senses to see his surroundings.

He even uses Mana when forging so it was a given that a Mana Core was very useful.

However not just anyone could form a Mana Core as it required discipline, dedication and extraordinary Willpower.

Sara started to laugh a little before he gaze turned cold.

"You might be a genius but not even you can form a-"

Sara was interrupted as Juan unleashed a wave of Mana directed only at her to the point where she fell to her knees.

"It seems your just as arrogant as your elder brother. You think I would bluff about forming a Triple Mana Core? Who do you think Helped your brother get one?"

Sara could barely lift her head and saw her brother look away from embarrassment. This was all Sara needed to confirm Juan could help her form a Triple Mana Core.

"I-I'm sorry for doubting you!"

Juan lifted the pressure that held Sara to her knees but she still refused to lift her head.

"Your sure I can gain a Triple Mana Core?"

Juan sighed in annoyance and shrugged.

"You certainly can but you'll have to destroy your current Mana cores. I can sense you have a Core in your Heart and in your brain. You'll need to replace those cores after destroying them."

Sara's eyes widened as did everyone else, including Sara's older brother.

If a Mana Core is destroyed it would cause severe backlash to the host, most often leading to death.

So hearing Juan casually saying to destroy the Mana Core was essentially Juan telling Sara to kill her self.

Juan soon realized why she and everyone else was shocked and quickly told her his plan.

"You won't die from destroying your Mana cores as I'll redirect all the chaotic Mana waves to form your new core. If you want proof that it works then ask the principal."

Everyone looked to the principal who only gave a simple nod. No one could refute Juan's claim anymore and now it was fact that Juan could help someone make a Triple Mana Core.

Juan looked over at the timer on the stage and saw it was in the last minute and started stretching.

"Remember that I'm only helping you gain a Triple Mana Core. If you want help with your summons then that will cost you."

The White Family name was filled with three generations of Summoners just like Sara and her Older brother.

And she was considered a prodigy among them so she had believed she had attained the pinnacle of Creatures under her command.

Even her Night King was a Master Rank beast even though there was the supreme Rank above that.

However no one was stupid enough to try and tame a Supreme Rank beast.

"If you want help growing a Supreme Rank Beast then I will expect fair compensation."

Sara and her older brother were bewildered by the notion that you could raise a beast into the highest rank or at least Sara was bewildered.

Her Brother on the other hand was fuming with anger.

"You bastard! You helped grow my Chaos Mantis into a Master Rank beast! Yet your helping my sister get a Supreme Rank!? You-!"

"You lack the skill to control a Supreme Rank. Your sister can and that will be how I pay my debt. But don't push it."

Juan focused his mana on Sara's older brother and forced him to his knees as well just before they were teleported.

Meanwhile everyone was shocked at what had unfolded as Cyrus, Sara's older brother, had just confirmed that it was now possible to grow a beast into at very least a Master Rank.

Combat, Non-combatant, Summoning, Mana cores, it was just an endless show and tell of just how much Juan could do.

Juan had become a peerless prodigy in a matter of a few hours and already gained the admiration of multiple teachers.

However as always Juan didn't care for their admiration or respect of others unless they mattered to him.

So Juan wasted no time once he and the others were summoned to the island.

"Eternal Golem Army, Advance and Battle any monsters you encounter. Leave no stone unturned."

In seconds over a hundred human sized golems set out in groups of ten while Juan begun with Sara.

"Now that we don't have to handle the monsters let's talk business."

"Alrighty! Now let's that Supreme beast first then we can get the-"

Juan's eyes turned cold which quickly shut Sara up.

"I promised to give you a Triple Mana Core to pay back your brother. But I didn't say I'd help you grow a Supreme beast for free."

Juan valued hard word being met with rewards so naturally he would not give such a powerful beast for free as a single supreme beast could rival a nation.

"W-What do you wish in return?"

Sara braced herself but even that wasn't enough to keep a straight face as Juan pressed down hard as he had the upper hand.

"Your Family name will sponsor me for 10 Dragon Coins a Month for 3 Years. Then you will supply a piece of land and transfer ownership to me, roughly 150 Miles should do it and not an inch less. You will supply any material needs for Victor, Sasha, Helen and John."

Everyone in the group aside from Juan was shocked. The White Family house was one of the most wealthiest in the world so the issue of the Dragon Coins wasn't that big.

Buying the desired land that Juan wanted and supplying four interns with any material needs were the true breathtaking demands that Juan listed, especially for Victor and Helen as they were enchanters.

Enchanters often require rare materials and even then the success rate was astronomicaly low, the same could be said for Alcemy.

"C-C-Can't we talk this out first? I'm sure we can come to common ground so maybe-"

"Terms are not negotiable. You have 30 seconds to decide."

Juan wasn't concerned about receiving criticism from every staff, student and intern because the people back at the Colosseum could only see them.

Meaning the only one who knew what exactly was happening was the principal as he was on the receiving end of Juan's definition of the word Negotiations.

'Not again… why does Juan always have to do this…'

The only one who was smiling was Ayesha as she saw Sara look utterly defeated.

Meanwhile Sasha and the others came to Sara's defence.

"M-M-Master Juan we don't need such things! We don't want to burden you or Ms.White."

"Sasha's right! We can handle it on our own."

"I agree."

"Yeah."

Juan sighed as he forgot to explain why such a deal was reasonable.

"Once it becomes known that someone has a Supreme Rank Beast under their command they will be swarmed with Raid Requests. The funds gained by these Raid requests will far outweigh the price of my demands while also supporting all four of you."

""…""

No one could refute Juan's claim as the support of a Supreme Rank Beast would not only lessen the chance for human casualties but also give a higher chance of clearing a raid. Sara would also gain a reputation of being the first to gain control of a Supreme Rank Beast.

So in fact Juan was fair in this deal for both parties and this was an unknown kindness for them.

'I won't be too greedy with our first deal. There will always be a next time.'

Juan was really proving his grandfather right every time he called him a silver tongue.

And so after hearing of all the future benefits and fame so had no choice.

"O-Ok… I agree to your demands. However if the Supreme Beast isn't satisfactory then I will not hold up to my end."

Juan gave a nod and pierced Sara's two Mana core before an agonizing pain washed over her.

But while Sara was facing the pain Juan informed Sara of the next step.

"Alright now that your cores are destroyed I'll redirect the flow and form your core. But it will take at least 7 hours."

Everyone apart from Sara who was still in agonizing pain had their mouths open and their eyes nearly popping out of their heads in shock.

Even Thane, Cyrus and Ayesha pitted Sara as they had experienced the same pain.

But all anyone else could see was Sara keeling over in pain while streaks of Mana from Juan's fingers connected to Sara's chest and forehead.

So now the perspective of Juan and his character was all over the place as some started calling him a monster while others called him a extremely gifted individual beyond measure.

Meanwhile Juan's golems kept up a steady pace of killing any monsters they came across unless they were already being attacked by other interns.
