He stared at the girl, as her eyes roamed around the place capturing its details in her mind, before he could see the person holding her arms someone tapped him from behind.
The coronation is about to start milord," the vampire Butler informed him with a bow and he nodded his head dismissing the vampire, he turned over to where he was looking at and saw no one there, so he left following the butler's route.
Avery eyes roamed around the drawing room, her eyes capturing the view of the palace, she saw different sculpture that seems to inspired her to go back to sculpting, Avery loved sculpting but her step mother made her quit after breaking every sculptures she made. They were many paintings that were framed and hinged around ever corner of the large drawing room, as they made their way to the ball room where the coronation was supposed to take place, with other people still following behind them, she felt comfortable and feels some sort of calmness in her heart as she was nervous the time got out of the carriage.
All of what she loves were all exhibited in the palace, wanting to get the curiosity out of her she whispered to Leonard. "Um... I'll be back in a minute I need to clear out my head."
Thinking it was her situation disturbing her mind he nodded, "but you should come back before the coronation ends," she nodded her head and left the ball room.
She saw a stairs and her conscience told her to see what was In the palace. She stepped on one of the stairs and she heard no creaks because it was all metal, the rails of the stairs glints like crystal although it was brown in color but it shined brightly like a crystal
She placed her hand on the surface of the rail feeling the metal iron within it. "So clean," she uttered after she felt no speck of dust on it.
She ascended up the stairs staring at the paintings in the walls, she knew the history about kingdom of Auburn but she hasn't seen any of them with her eyes yet.
She placed her foot at the the last stair and she stared to see the large hallway with laterns burning around every corner of the hallway, she stared at the hallway that was now having light because of the laterns that revealed it's glowing golden lights as it glistens ever corner of the room.
She started walking in the hallway with gentle footsteps, she spotted a family portrait, the biggest portrait in the mansion, she walked up to it and she placed her hand on the beautiful portrait of the family when they were still young.
She saw the three siblings faces, the girl at the middle of them staring at the artist with her golden eyes just like her one of the brothers and the woman in the paintings.
Her eyes then saw the black haired boy as his brown eyes that stared at the artist with no expression on his face unlike his twin brother who had calm expression on his face.
Her hand came forth to touch the portrait where the boy head was, her hand moved gently at the face of the hollow looking guy.
"Romancing my portrait how rude of you," his word gave her shivers and she jerked when she heard the word and felt his hot breath on her shoulders.
She stared at him with her crystal blue eyes mixed with fear and calmness, he looked just like the portrait of the guy in the painting. "And who are you?" She questioned the Caspian who stared at her with shock, he thought he was know to every other people and this girl does not know anything about him.
"You are questioning the soon to be on throne?" His voice cold as the winter breeze yet calm like the waves of the same as he stared at the daring blue eyes that seems to allure him, this girl was the most beautiful creature he has ever seen, is she really human because in the history of Auburn a human has not being said to be more beautiful than a day witch.
"I'm sorry your majesty but I didn't mean to touch your family portrait," she apologized with her head slightly bent downward her face gathering sweats around it.
"Hmmm____why fo I feel your sorry isn't sincere?" His voice turning cold giver her shivers any time a word came out of his lips.
"I sincerely apologize your majesty, I am utterly sorry if my voice sounded insincere the first time I apologized milord," she bowed her head now lowered down unlike before, 'when are you going to tell me to get out of here?' she wondered.
"You can raise your head lady, " he ordered.
"Would it not be rude if I don't bow my head to the heir to the throne, " she was good at this and her conscience told her, 'keep it up.'
"That was an order, " his calm but with only them in the hallway his voice turned out to be cold and she wondered if he shouted maybe the lantern fires might even quench, she gradually raised her head and he felt relieved that he was able to capture the girls face.
"You should leave the hallway while i see you walk away before someone comes in, " he ordered and bowed her head and left with trembling lips. "Can't wait to have her all to myself after I am crowned," a smirk came to settle on his face as he took a brief glance at the painting she was looking at and left the hallway.
"Where were you?" He asked after seeing her walk up to meet him.
"Like I told you before, I went to clear out my head," she responded calmly and smiled at him. "It actually worked, " she said to him with a insincere smile on her lips just to dismiss his curiosity.
"Alright glad it worked out well, " when the coronation began, they did some rites that was done by past kings and he as the crown was placed at the top of his head every one started clapping.
With the claps distracting her ears from hearing what they said in front of them and tall height in front of her made her frown even after stretching her neck to see the people crowning the vampire king like they announced.
She was a little angry that she was not able to see the whole thing that happened after the coronation was over but the party was not yet finished, in the hall, she didn't get too see his face that well as the hallway was filled with lanterns that created shadows on the floor and his face wasn't vividly seen by her but she has already captured how his face looked like in her mind but his face some how turned indistinct in her mind.
She walked to the nearby patio and placed her hand on the rails with her hairs flowing backwards as she stared at the blue clear sky.
"And who are you?" Calvin questioned making her to turn to him swiftly.
