Chapter 17 - Pa pa is a famous star (17)

[Even though I want to laugh, baby Joshua looks so pitiful, hahaha]

[That person up there is still laughing, though…]

[Baby Joshua likes being clean. When his face got dirty, he was upset—he started crying immediately.]

[Zarukel was way too aggressive, biting someone's cheek the first time they met, hahaha!]

[And even made baby Joshua cry! There's no way they'll make up after this! I won't let baby Joshua make up with this nasty brat!]

[Just now, Zarukel was asking to go home, but the moment he saw baby Joshua, he didn't want to anymore, hahaha. Who's the real simp here?]

[Hahaha, Zarukel is the tsundere type, hahaha!]

The barrage of chaotic comments kept rolling in—more chaotic than the actual scene.

In the end, Adonis had to comfort Joshua for quite a while and wipe his face clean before the little boy finally stopped crying. But his eyes and nose were still a little red, and he continued sniffling with slightly pouting lips, clinging to Adonis tightly, giving Lily no chance to strike up a conversation with him.

Ultimately, the production crew had no choice but to let the guests return to their rooms to rest. Only after lunch would they begin the day's program schedule.

They never expected that Joshua—who looked like the most well-behaved child—would end up being the one to derail the entire plan.

Of course, it wasn't Joshua's fault. It was all because of Cale's nephew!

But according to their reliable sources, Cale's identity wasn't simple—and Zarukel's was even more complicated! In the end, the only ones suffering… were the production team!

"I mean, kid, why did you suddenly bite someone else's baby? He looks so well-behaved, and now you've made him cry."

As soon as Cale entered the room, he crossed his arms and scolded his nephew directly. But aside from saying a few words, there wasn't much else he could do.

Cale felt a headache coming on. Once again, he couldn't understand why his older brother insisted he bring Zarukel here. All it did was cause trouble—an absolute headache.

Meanwhile, Zarukel stood in the middle of the room, his eyes slightly red, tears brimming but stubbornly refusing to fall. He looked both angry and aggrieved.

Cale really couldn't understand what Zarukel had to be upset about. The brat was the one who made someone cry first—and even had the nerve to call the other kid a crybaby! He honestly didn't know how this boy would ever find a partner in the future.

Cale sighed. "Alright, wipe that face off. I'll call someone to take you back if you want to go home."

But when Cale finished speaking, Zarukel jumped up: "Not going home!"

Cale froze, hand still holding his phone, and looked at him in confusion. "You said you wanted to go home just now."

Zarukel clenched his fists, holding back tears, and declared loudly, "I'm not going anymore!"

With that, he plopped down on the floor in full tantrum mode.

Cale rubbed his forehead and folded his arms again.

This was honestly the first time he'd seen Zarukel act so aggrieved—usually,, other people got upset because of him.

And what was he even upset about? Because Joshua didn't let him bite him?

Just now, Cale thought Adonis would give Zarukel a proper lesson. Anyone could tell just by looking at him how much he doted on Joshua.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Adonis carried Joshua into a room, his eyes cold.

Joshua was still clinging to his neck, face nuzzled into its crook. Thankfully, he'd stopped crying by now. Still, seeing the bite mark on his son's cheek, Adonis couldn't help but feel a pang in his heart.

"We're not going to play with Zarukel anymore, okay?" Adonis said softly to Joshua.

He knew Cale, and he'd heard of Zarukel's reputation too—the brilliant and capable son of the Curtis family, a boy who had already secured his place as heir despite his young age. That alone was enough to show how smart Zarukel was.

Who would've thought that Zarukel would make Joshua cry the moment he appeared? There's no way Adonis would let that kid get anywhere near Joshua ever again!

Joshua looked at his papa, shook his head, and didn't mention Zarukel. Instead, he said something else: "I don't like Auntie Lily. I'm scared of her."

Now, this was the critical issue! As for Zarukel, Joshua would never play with him again!

Adonis gently wiped the lingering tears from Joshua's face and said firmly, "Papa won't go near her anymore. You don't have to be scared."

Upon hearing that, Joshua immediately perked up. He nuzzled his little face into his papa's palm and whispered, "I love Papa the most."

Adonis's heart melted.

Joshua sat quietly on the bed, watching his papa organize their things. He stared absentmindedly at the toys in front of him, but in his heart, he was speaking to Leo:

[So that older boy is also named Zarukel?]

He had the same name and looked similar—no matter how Joshua thought about it, it just didn't seem right.

Joshua's little head was full of doubt.

Leo responded in a somewhat serious tone:

[It seems young master Zarukel's soul has followed you, little master!]

Leo knew just how much Lord Adonis disliked the idea of the little master playing with Zarukel. He couldn't understand why Zarukel had followed Joshua here. This Outer God invasion hadn't seriously impacted Hades or the underworld, so what was Zarukel doing in this place? Are you just following little master around?

Joshua huffed coldly:

[But that Zarukel would never bite me!]

When they first met, Zarukel had to apologize countless times and work hard to make up with Joshua just for biting him. After that, he didn't dare bite Joshua again. Even so, Joshua never agreed to go to the underworld to play with him!

Leo said:

[Maybe young master Zarukel doesn't have the same memories as Lord Adonis, sir.]

At that, Joshua couldn't help but feel a bit concerned:

[Then… should I protect Zarukel?]

Leo quickly replied:

[As long as you can protect Lord Adonis, that's already more than enough, sir!]

Reassured, Joshua—tired from crying—closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep, curled up on the bed like a dumpling.

Adonis quietly sat down beside the bed, his gaze cold as he looked around the room—or, more accurately, the BlueMoon Castle.

This castle was one of William's gifts to Adonis's mother. After her death, the castle became Adonis's property.

But Adonis had never wanted anything to do with the William family's assets, so he had never paid attention to the castle. He never expected William to lend it to the program for filming the older man knew Adonis would be bringing Joshua here.

Adonis looked at Joshua's tiny sleeping face, his eyes deep and distant.

No matter what it took, he wouldn't let his mother's past cast a shadow on Joshua's life.

That shadow—should fall on him alone.

[Can you believe the live stream was just cut like that? So cruel!]

[Right? I even bought a membership! What's so hard about continuing the stream? I'd be happy just watching baby Joshua sleep! And also sneak in some Adonis eye candy hehehehe]

[Never seen Adonis with such a gentle look before—and he's not even acting!]

[It's all thanks to baby Joshua. Normal people aren't that adorable.]

[Has Zarukel still not gone home? Hahaha, let's wait and see if he returns to bite Joshua again.]

By lunchtime, the live stream had resumed as if nothing had happened that morning. Zarukel sat on a chair, his little face scrunched up like he was distraught. But his eyes kept darting toward the stairs—completely giving away his childish thoughts.
