Their steps drew closer to the edge of the forest, where the sunlight began to illuminate the way out. But that calm was only temporary, because in the distance, the sound of thunder and strong winds could be heard. Siu Jou and Lumi quickened their pace, but just as they nearly reached the forest's boundary, a large and terrifying creature emerged from behind the shadows. The creature was the greatest guardian of the dark power, capable of destroying everything with its unstoppable dark force.
"This is the final test," Siu Jou whispered, staring at the creature with full courage. "I must sacrifice something to protect everything."
Lumi looked at him anxiously. "What should we do?"
Siu Jou raised his hand, channeling energy from his artifact. He knew that the great power he had just awakened had to be used wisely. He ran toward the creature, holding off its attack so Lumi and others could escape.
"Go! I will hold this creature back so you can get out of here!" Siu Jou shouted.
Lumi tried to grab Siu Jou's hand, but he pushed him away. "We must stay together! Don't do this alone!"
But Siu Jou remained steadfast, raising his staff and preparing to face the creature. He knew that the power he possessed right now was the key to saving everyone—and at the same time, a great sacrifice he had to make.
With extraordinary bravery, Siu Jou launched his final attack, the energy from the artifact and the fiery strength of his heart blazing within him. He sacrificed part of his power to weaken the creature, giving Lumi and others a chance to escape.
As his last energy drained away, Siu Jou collapsed to the ground, wounded and exhausted. The creature roared loudly before disappearing into the darkness. The sound of wind and silence returned to envelop the place.
Lumi ran back and embraced Siu Jou's unconscious body. Tears flowed down his cheeks as he saw his friend's bravery and sacrifice. "I promise, I will protect this secret and make sure everyone knows your courage," he whispered softly.
Siu Jou smiled faintly, gazing toward the rising sun in the distance. He understood that this sacrifice was the key to saving the village and the entire world from the threatening dark forces.
With his remaining strength and courage, Siu Jou looked at Lumi and said, "Never forget that bravery and a sincere heart can change everything."
