Central Room.
Lina was typing quickly, her fingers flying across the keys, when Kai walked in. The other hackers were seated at their desk too. Kai headed straight for his desk.
Lina looked over her shoulder and spotted him.
"Kai, where are you coming from? Don has been asking for you," she said, glancing up from her screen.
"I had something to take care of. I just finished," he replied, settling in at his desk.
But something flashed across his screen. His expression shifted.
"What's that?" he muttered, zooming in. His eyes widened.
"What's happening?" Lina asked, standing from her desk.
The warning blared. A loud Intruder Alert echoed through the central room.
Everyone jolted. All the hackers stood up, shouting, with their eyes locked on their glitching screens.
"What the hell? I can't access my system!" a lady yelled from across the room.
"Me too!" another added, panic rises in her voice.
Kai was sweating, with his fingers flying over the keyboard, trying to regain access.
Then, just like that, every screen went black. Seconds later, they all flickered back on, everyone had been
logged out.
"The server is being hacked!" Lina screamed, with her eyes wide in horror.
