"Last time on Total Drama Action," Chris began the recap while sitting in a director's chair. "20 teenagers, one spooky film lot, and a whole bunch of alien eggs. In a world, where an army chef wore an alien costume only the strong could survive. Jasmine managed to do what only Izzy previously could and challenged Chef to a round of fisticuffs, while Ronnie Anne was prime to win by screwing over everyone else. But in a rush of anger Lincoln snapped and not only won, but told off Ronnie Anne for being a toxic girlfriend to the entire viewing world! You really just can't write this stuff. And it looks like the hate train between these two will keep on going full steam ahead as Lincoln and Ronnie Anne will be leading the two teams this season. Personally I'm all about the hate, and the pain! Well, if I have anything to say about it, and I do by the way. So brace yourself for some deliciously pain Total. Drama. Action!"
The sun was beginning to rise on the film lot, giving some light to start out the day. Outside the casting trailers hanging upside down on the tree was of course Dawn, keeping true to her word of sleeping outside. While there wasn't nearly as much nature around her anymore, she could still do what she could to stay intact with mother earth. And thankfully she wasn't alone as below the tree was a large tent that Jasmine was set up in. As the light from the sun covered the film lot, some of it hit Dawn's face making the aura reader stir a bit. "Mmmmmm…" Dawn let out before opening her eyes and letting out a cute yawn. "Good morning earth,"
"Good morning to you too!" Dawn's eyes widened in surprise as she looked next to her and saw…Izzy hanging upside with her? Dawn blinked a few times to wake her up and sure enough, the psycho hose beast was there on the tree with her with her usual smile on her face. "But I'm Izzy silly not mother earth! I'm not a mother that'd be crazy haha!"
"Oh, well good morning Izzy," Dawn politely greeted the red head. "What brings you out here?"
"Oh you know I was just sleeping in my bunk with Leshawna when I had to get to pee and saw you hanging here like an opossum and I wanted to know how it feels myself and it's great!" Izzy said in one breath before breaking out into giggles. "Quick question how do you keep the blood from rushing to your head?"
Suddenly Izzy goes cross eyed before falling down to the ground while breaking down into laughter. "…Sounds about right," Dawn said with an amused giggle.
CONFESSIONAL – Dawn
"Never really talked to Izzy back on the island. We mostly kept to ourselves. I don't mind her though, she's a free spirit and that's a beautiful thing," Dawn complimented the red haired girl before putting on a bit of a concerned look. "It's what she does with that freedom that concerns me…"
CONFESSIONAL – Izzy
"Ok! Ok! I soooo wanted to get to know Dawn back on the island!" Izzy grinned while bouncing up and down in her seat, unable to sit still like usual. "It's so cool how she can become one with nature even more than me! And we can both speak animal! Did you know that I can speak fluent Camel, Raccoon, Piranha, and Dodo bird? Because I do!"
Meanwhile in the guy's trailer, all of them were up and were getting ready for the day or were already. Thankfully due to Lincoln's alarm all the boys were ready to wake up and get ready, while some were definitely grumpy about being woken up they could accept that this was for the best. Currently Lincoln was already ready and was on his bunk with a journal in his hand as he brainstormed about who to put on his team. "Dawn of course," Lincoln wrote down her name, no way was he gonna be on a team without her. "Harold, Bridgette, and DJ definitely. Hmmmm, Gwen and Trent."
And some of the guys couldn't help but watch him do this. "Dude's been at this ever since he woke up," Geoff muttered to the other guys that were watching. "It's kinda gnarly,"
"It's a good idea," Harold commented, thinking that Lincoln was being smart about this. And not at all agreeing with it because he was the first person Lincoln named other than his girlfriend. No bias at all. "Especially considering his ex is leading the other team. He wants the best team possible to beat her."
"I can respect that," DJ nodded in agreement. "Just hope we don't end up on her team…"
"Brbrbrbr!" Edward yelled out, getting everyone's attention as he scratched the door wanting to be let out. "Brbrbr! Brbrbr!"
"Can someone let the duck out," Justin said dismissively as he held his nails out. "I just did my hands so I'm not touching it."
"I got it," DJ smiled as he went to let Edward out. "This brotha's gotta pee too.
And right as DJ opened up the door…
"TIME TO WAKE UP EVERYBODY!!!" Standing in front of the guys' trailer with a megaphone was of course Chris, the megaphone knocking DJ to the ground with his ears ringing with all the other guys having to cover their ears too as Chris grinned and held up the megaphone. "I LOVE this thing!"
"WHAT?!" DJ yelled out while covering his still ringing ears.
"Hey!" From outside the tent opened up and Jasmine came out glaring at Chris with Dawn also not looking too happy as she got out of the tree. Izzy didn't seem to be bothered at least as she stood up. "What the hell's that for mate?!"
"Well 'mate' we need to get the day started." Chris grinned before bringing the megaphone to his mouth again and aiming it at the girls' trailer. "SO WAKE UP AND EAT BREAKY SO WE CAN GET STARTED WITH THE CHALLENGE!!!"
"Uuuuuugh!" They heard the girls from inside the trailer groan out in response to Chris just being…Chris.
After a mostly innutritious and definitely not delicious breakfast, all 20 competitors were once again lined up in front of the trailers with Chris standing between them with his arms crossed behind his back. "You're on a film set now, and you're about to learn that life on set is more than just red carpet openings and pool parties," Chris informed everyone firmly as he explained what today had in store for them. "You're about to see for yourselves just how hard life on set is."
"Whatever I can deal with it, I once had a summer job at a petting zoo," Gwen stated, feeling nothing could be worse than what she had to put up with. "It's so adorable everyone feeding the adorable goats all their adorable cabbages. But someone, I.E. me, had to shovel up the less than adorable end of the digestive process."
"Well, speaking of number two," Chris grinned as he announced it was the time everyone was waiting for today. "Lincoln, Ronnie Anne, time to pick the teams!" Lincoln and Ronnie Anne glared at each other as they stepped forward with Ronnie Anne on the left side and Lincoln on the right. "Now then we'll pick classic dodgeball style, ladies first. But since we have no ladies here, Ronnie Anne you can choose first."
Ronnie Anne sent a quick glare at Chris before going back to glaring at Lincoln as she thought about who to choose first.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Since I pretty much have a target on my back, I need to play it smart," Ronnie Anne stated as she crossed her arms. She knew immediately when coming on for this season she wouldn't be making friends, so she wasn't going to try. But she knew that people were definitely gonna be out to get her so she had to keep that from happening. "Most girlfriends would pick their boyfriend's current squeeze and put them against each other. But she's a hindrance if anything, especially with food challenges, and she might sabotage me. Need people that can benefit me."
Ronnie Anne smirked as she immediately made her first choice. "I choose Heather," Ronnie Anne pointed to the bald mean girl.
Everyone gasped in surprise at Ronnie Anne's choice as Heather smugly smirked and walked over to Ronnie Anne. "Girl you want Heather on your team?" Leshawna looked at Ronnie Anne with a shocked expression. Sure she knew Ronnie Anne floated in the same boat as Heather but to actually deliberately pick her first just seemed insane. "You trippin' or something?"
"I figured I need someone with experience and all," Ronnie Anne shrugged as she gestured to Heather. "She was in the final three after all~"
"Hmph, glad at least SOMEONE here realizes how skilled I am," Heather bragged as she crossed her arms.
"So skilled you had to cheat?" Gwen brought up Heather rigging the votes last season.
"Jealous?" Heather merely smirked.
"Alright Linc, you're up," Chris pointed to the white haired boy.
"I-" Lincoln was about to pick but was cut off.
"Dawn," Chris immediately ordered the aura reader while gesturing his head towards Lincoln. "Go to Lincoln,"
"…Fair enough," Lincoln shrugged and smiled as Dawn walked up to him and planted a kiss on the cheek.
"Grrrr…" Ronnie Anne growled at the scene before making her next pick. "Duncan."
"Tch, great…" Duncan grumbled as he walked over to Ronnie Anne, the punk openly showing he wasn't too happy with his situation.
"He was the winner last season so it only makes sense," Ronnie Anne stated as Duncan rolled his eyes.
"Fine, wanna play the experience game?" Lincoln narrowed his eyes at his ex and immediately decided who to pick next. "Gwen."
"Let's do this," Gwen smiled as she gave Lincoln a high five as she walked over to his side.
"Now…Justin," Ronnie Anne pointed to the most handsome teen of the bunch.
"I knew you couldn't resist me~" Justin flirted as he flashed Ronnie Anne a smile as he went to her side, the Hispanic teen merely rolling her eyes in response.
CONFESSIONAL – Leshawna
"Heather and Duncan I can understand, but Justin?" Leshawna questioned, while she was surprised by Ronnie Anne picking Heather first she could at least somewhat get it. Plus Duncan was definitely a strong pick. But there was no explaining her third choice. "No offense but pretty boy can't do much. What is that girl planning?"
"Now…Harold," Lincoln smirked as he made his next pick.
"Consider my mad skills yours." Harold grinned as he and Lincoln shared a fist bump.
"…Owen," It took time for Ronnie Anne to decide her next pick, but she decided on Owen, he also made it pretty far last time.
But unlike her other picks Owen was much more hesitant to walk over to Ronnie Anne's team. "Um…do I have to?" Owen gulped a bit only to be met with a vicious glare from Ronnie Anne leading to Owen looking down and hugging his fruity friend tightly. "Hold me Mr. Coconut…"
"Bridgette," Lincoln flashed Owen a sympathetic look before making his next choice.
"Happy to be aboard," Bridgette smiled as she gave Lincoln a quick hug as she walked over to his team.
Ronnie Anne smirked, knowing exactly who to choose next. "Geoff,"
"What?!" Bridgette shouted as she and Lincoln quickly glared at Ronnie Anne.
"Aw crap…" Geoff sighed and slumped down as he went on the team opposite of his girlfriend.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"I may not be able to separate Lame-O and the freaky hippy, but I can still separate others~" Ronnie Anne smirked smugly as she rested her feet on the vanity. "Still plenty I can do to mess with everyone this season~"
"Sorry Bridgette," Lincoln apologized to his surfer friend as he glared daggers at Ronnie Anne before making his next choice. "Leshawna, think you can give your A-Game?"
"It's the only game I got Q-Tip!" Leshawna bragged as she gave him a high five.
Ronnie Anne then looked at the guys that were left and she…wasn't too happy about any of her choices.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"The rest of the guys suck!" The Hispanic teen yelled out in frustration. "Sure I could separate Gwen from Trent but I saw last season and that guy is more of a hindrance than anything. Mike looks like a squirt and I'm not putting up with that old man routine. DJ may be strong but he's a freaking wimp! And Tyler was eliminated second! Ugh, he's an athlete I guess that's something."
"Tyler I guess," Ronnie Anne sighed out as she pointed to the jock. Tyler simply shrugged before going to join Ronnie Anne. He didn't really have a horse in the race between Lincoln and Ronnie Anne so she had no issue with being put on either team.
"Hey Jasmine," Lincoln spoke up to the Australian Amazon next. "Wanna hang with us?"
"I'd love to mate," Jasmine grinned as she went to join Lincoln's team. "Count me in!"
With the no doubt strongest person here on Lincoln's team, one of his teammates couldn't help but brag. "Good job passing on the chance to have an Amazon on the team," Gwen smirked as she pointed a thumb towards Jasmine with the others joining in too causing Jasmine to begin getting a little flustered.
"Nice going leader," Heather said right to Ronnie Anne causing the Hispanic teen to give the queen bee a nasty look.
"Just for that…" Ronnie Anne then pointed to a certain blond. "Lindsay."
"No!" Heather shouted out as Lindsay clapped and went over to Ronnie Anne's team, specifically Tyler.
"Yay!" Lindsay cheered as she hugged her boyfriend. "We're on the same team again!"
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"That little…it was Lindsay's stupid dare that did this to me!" Heather growled out as she pointed to her bald head. "She knows I can't stand her! …..I'm impressed."
"DJ, you up for this?" Lincoln grinned as he pointed to the second strongest of the bunch.
"You bet brother!" DJ grinned back as he and Lincoln shared a couple of fist bumps.
"Izzy," Ronnie Anne pointed to her next choice, but she was looking a bit hesitant.
"Woohoo!" Izzy grinned as she ran over to Ronnie Anne's team. "On the team with the crazy chick let's go!"
"I'm going to ignore that," Ronnie Anne sent the psycho hose beast a blank look.
"Trent," Lincoln pointed to the guitarist. "You're up dude."
"Sweet," Trent grinned and shared a high five with Lincoln before putting himself next to Gwen. "Happy to be here."
And now, only two left. "Oh man…" Beth slumped down as she sighed. "Last to be picked…it's gym class all over again…"
"Tell me about it…" Mike groaned out.
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"Uuuuugh…neither of them are any good." Ronnie Anne groaned as she rubbed her temples as she tried to decide between two booby picks. "But…it wouldn't hurt to have a shield."
"Beth," Ronnie Anne said with disinterest.
"And here I thought I'd be free from Heather this season…" Beth sighed out dejectedly as she walked up to Ronnie Anne's team reluctantly, Heather shooting Beth a glare in response. "Still, at least I'm with you again bestie."
"Totally!" Lindsay grinned as she hugged Beth. "Between you, me, and Tyler we'll be just fine Beth!"
"Welp guess you're with us Mike," Lincoln shrugged and welcomed Mike to the team. Sure Mike might be a little…odd but he seemed like an alright guy. Trent seemed to trust him and that was enough for Lincoln, and Dawn said there was something up with Mike and his aura but she never said it was bad just that it wasn't her place to tell. "Welcome to the team man!"
"T-Thanks!" Mike stuttered a bit as he walked up to Lincoln's team. Sure he was a bit dejected to be picked last but he definitely thought he was on the better of the two teams. "I'll try my best!"
"The teams have been decided!" Chris announced as he stepped in between the two new teams, the host now having a pair of banners in his hand much like last season. "Ronnie Anne you and your team will be known as the Killer Grips!" Chris threw the red banner towards Ronine Anne who caught it and unrolled it and showed a logo of a red fist on it. "Lincoln, you and your turn will be the Screaming Gaffers!" Chris then threw the green banner to Lincoln who caught it and showed off a logo of what appeared to be a light bulb.
"Grip?" Beth questioned with a frown. "I don't wanna be a grip!"
"Hey, better than being a Gaffer," Leshawna stated, not too happy with her team name either. "Sounds like a disease or something."
"Actually Gaffers are chief electricians in film and TV studios," Harold pointed out. "It's actually pretty on theme for the season."
"Is that true?" Gwen asked as she looked to Chris.
"Heck if I know, think I keep track of these things?" Chris shrugged, not really knowing the answer himself. These were just the names the producers decided on, he didn't look into them. "Now come on, the challenge awaits!"
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"Man I'm pretty bummed about not being on the same team as Bridge, doesn't help that Ronnie Anne is the leader. She's a real bummer ya know?" Geoff sighed out, definitely not happy about his situation. While he did encourage Bridgette to not be so hostile around Ronnie Anne, Geoff couldn't exactly say he liked her. "B-But it'll be fine! We just need to make it to the merge and we'll be back together babe!"
Following Chris across the film lot they arrived at a set of what looked to be a large hill, not quite as big as the cliff back on the island but it still looked like a long ways up. In front of the hill were two sets of filming equipment complete with stuff like costume racks, crates filled with props, and even makeup trailers! "Now today, our challenge isn't actually based on a movie genre," Chris announced to the two teams as he pointed to all the filming equipment behind him. "Instead, you'll be learning just how hard it is to film a movie,"
"Sweet!" Harold grinned, already getting excited for this.
"For your challenge you must use all the equipment here to set up and film your own movie," Chris explained the rules of the challenge. "We have everything you need here. Lighting, microphone, camera, props and costume, and of course a trailer to do your makeup in,"
"Heh, is that all," Ronnie Anne cracked her knuckles, ready to finally take her first victory. "This is way too easy Mclain,"
"Hmmmm, ya know what Ronnie Anne you're right! It is too easy!" Chris grinned way too widely immediately making everyone worry. That face was never a good one for them. "So as location manager, I want your sets to go waaaaaaay up there!"
"Yo, Latina chick," Duncan got Ronnie Anne's attention, immediately pissing her off with how he addressed her. "First rule of this show, NEVER speak too soon,"
"I won't stop you though, makes this way more fun," Chris laughed, looking way too proud of himself. Clearing his throat, Chris finished his explanation of the rules. "So your first challenge will be getting all your team's equipment to the top of the hill. When one of the teams finishes the other team must stop and be forced to ditch anything they weren't able to bring up." Chris then took out his beloved megaphone again as he held up to his mouth. "Now, get set!
Seeing as how he was about to start, both teams immediately ran up to their respective set ups of equipment. "Lights…camera…" Chris then chopped the air. "Action!"
"Ok, we got quite a lot of equipment here," Mike said as he and the Gaffers all looked at the stuff they had to bring up and it would definitely be a daunting task. "How are we gonna bring this all up before the Grips?"
"Hmmm, let's not think of beating the Grips. Let's just focus on getting as much up as we can." Lincoln immediately embraced his role as the leader and stood in front of everyone. Luckily if there was one thing he was definitely good at, it was thinking of a plan. "We need to make sure we have the most important stuff first to ensure we have it! And carry in moderation, if you're struggling to carry something leave it for another trip we can't risk losing anything. We start from the most important equipment to least important and then save the trailer for last where we'll all work together to push it up."
"Most important equipment would be the camera, lighting, and microphone!" Harold stated as he gestured to those pieces of equipment. "We should form three groups to get them all up first."
"Yes! Exactly!" Lincoln nodded at Harold before he started splitting everyone up. "Alright me, Trent, and Bridgette will get the cameras! Gwen, Dawn, Mike, Harold, you all get the microphones and any other sound equipment. DJ, Jasmine, Leshawna you three are the strongest so get the lights up there and be careful not to drop them!"
"Got it!" Leshawna grinned before picking up the lights and immediately began running up the hill. "Alright team let's move!"
"You can count on me and DJ to lift the heaviest stuff!" Jasmine grinned as she picked up two of the heaviest pieces of lighting equipment in each arm without any issue. "We got this right mate?"
"S-Sure, no prob," DJ said a bit nervously as he also picked up some of the lighting equipment. "I'll try not to drop anything."
"Don't worry DJ you got this!" Lincoln encouraged him as he, Trent, and Bridgette immediately got to work on carrying the camera equipment. "Let's go team! Go Screaming Gaffers!"
"Go Screaming Gaffers!" All of Lincoln's team cheered.
With the Grips, instead of immediately discussing a plan Ronnie Anne went inside the makeup trailer and inspected it a bit before nodding as she thought of her own idea. "Ok Grips, listen here and listen good because I'm not repeating this." Ronnie Anne spoke to her team firmly, leaving no room for argument. "We have to beat the Gaffers up there no matter what and that means getting all the equipment up there as soon as possible with as few trips as we can. There's plenty of space in the trailer so if we cram as much stuff as we can into it we can easily get everything up there in one go."
"Um, news flash," Heather brought up one crippling flaw in Ronnie Anne's master plan. "That'll make the trailer super heavy. How do you plan on getting it up there with all that stuff in it?"
"Oh!" Lindsay rose her hand, an idea having come to her head. "I bet Tyler is strong enough to do it!"
"Uh, I am?" Tyler asked a bit nervously. Sure he was proud of his athletic abilities…but he would say he was a bit out of practice when it came to moving trailers to say the least.
"You're partially right," Ronnie Anne nodded before gesturing to all the guys. "The boys here have enough muscle to haul this thing,"
"Uh, we do?" Owen flinched as he and the rest of the guys were a bit intimidated by the idea of hauling a trailer full of filming equipment up a large hill.
"Hey, what about you and the not so lovely ladies here?" Duncan walked up to Ronnie Anne and harshly poked her stomach. He was already upset at being on the team with this Hispanic bitch but now she was trying to put all the work on him in the guys? Like he was gonna let that happen! "We ain't doin' this by ourselves!"
"Um, duh!" Ronnie Anne slapped Duncan's hand away. This guy really needed to learn his place. He may have won last season but she was the leader of this team! "We'll be moving the stuff we couldn't fit in the trailer."
"Fine," Justin shrugged, seeing as how there was probably no arguing with Ronnie Anne. "Guess it'll give me a chance to show off these flawless pecs."
"Oh boy…" Geoff let out as he watched the girls immediately load stuff into the trailer. "I got a bad feeling about this dude."
So the girls filled the trailer with as much stuff as they could, and the remaining equipment was carried up by them with Ronnie Anne and Heather carrying up the camera and Beth, Lindsay, and Izzy carrying up the lights. This left the trailer full of stuff for the guys to do all on their own. "So,' Duncan began as he leaned his back on the trailer. "If we lose this we're definitely voting Ronnie Anne off right?"
"She's got my vote bro," Tyler nodded in agreement as he got ready to push the trailer up.
"She is pretty scary," Owen nodded in agreement as he put Mr. Coconut in his pocket. "I was really hoping to be on Lincoln's team."
"Look, let's just worry about voting if it comes to that. For now we gotta push this thing up as fast as we can." Geoff tried to calm down the harsh vibes. This wasn't the time for his team to be all negative. They had a challenge to win and they needed to figure out a way to get this trailer and equipment up! Smiling, Geoff thought of an idea of how to get the trailer up the hill and immediately turned to Owen. "Owen! Bro! There's a big table full of catering at the top of the hill dude! If we can get this trailer oup we can totally pig out bro!"
"Did you say catering?!" Owen immediately grew excited as he looked up the top of the hill. With food on the big guy's mind, Owen immediately got to work on trying to get the trailer up. Taking off his belt Owen wrapped it around his head before stretching it out to wrap around the trailer tongue and began walking forward as hard as he could to try and get it up. "Come on…Owen…wanna…eat!!!"
"This is our chance dudes!" Geoff grinned as he went to push the trailer from the other end. "Now! Push!!!" The rest of the guys went to help Geoff push and after a little effort, they all were able to slowly and, well, more slowly begin to move the heavy trailer up.
Meanwhile the Gaffers were all sticking to Lincoln's plan without any sort of hassle. After everyone got the essential equipment up they went back down to begin bringing everything else up. Like Lincoln said they all carried what they could and nothing more with Jasmine and DJ carrying the heaviest stuff as it was easier for them. As they were bringing stuff up they noticed all the girls from the Grips waiting at the top of the hill with their camera and lighting, not bothering to bring anything else up with them. No one bothered asking why as they all got their answer when they saw all the guys pulling up the trailer for their team with the rest of their equipment inside.
A few were worried about this…until they realized how slow they were going and continued with the plan.
By the time the Gaffers were going down to begin moving up their trailer, the Grips were nearing the halfway point with their trailer and equipment. Only there was one problem, Owen who was leading the charge in getting it up was running out of steam. "Ugh…need…catering…" Owen groaned out, his pants having dropped down long ago and his entire body drenched in sweat. He certainly gave an impressive charge, but there was only so far the big guy could go. "Losing…will…to go on! Need…dessert!!!"
"Come on Owen! You can't give up now dude!" Geoff yelled out as the guys struggled to push the trailer now that Owen was slowing down. "Keep going man!"
"I…can't…" And with that, the mighty Owen fell to the ground, his belt slipping off his sweat covered head.
"O-Oh boy!" Duncan grunted. Once Owen was down for the count the guys felt the full weight of the trailer weighing down on them. "It's coming down! Bail guys!"
Duncan, Geoff, and Justin were all quick to jump away before the trailer could crush them. Tyler however wasn't too lucky. "W-Wait-" Tyler tried to get away but it was too late. The trailer completely ran over him as it went back down the hill faster than any of the guys could catch up with, leaving a run over Tyler behind. "Uuuuugh…"
"Alright now, let's get this bad boy up the hill," Once all the Gaffers were down the hill, Lincoln quickly got to work telling them how they were gonna move the makeup trailer up the hill. "We're gonna need to all work together to get this bad boy up, and we're gonna need our two strongest on both sides to ensure it won't slide down. So DJ, we need you up front pulling with Trent and Leshawna. Jasmine, you'll be helping the rest of us push."
"I-I don't know…" DJ was looking a bit unsure about this as he looked at the trailer. Every bad thing that could happen with this was flashing through his mind. "What if it slips? Or I trip? I don't wanna let the team down and get anyone hurt."
"Hey don't worry dude," Trent reassured DJ as he patted the brick house on the back. "We'll all be helping out with this."
"Come on DJ," Stepping up to DJ was Jasmine who put a soft but firm hand on his shoulder, lightly squeezing it in encouragement. "I promise if that happens me and the other's will catch it. You can do this mate! I know ya can!"
"Jasmine's right DJ, if anyone can do this it's you!" Lincoln further encouraged his friend. "I remember what you did during the canoe race last season. This'll be a piece of cake for ya brotha!"
"DJ! DJ! DJ!" Everyone began cheering the brickhouse, encouraging him and believing in him.
Seeing and hearing everyone put their faith in him and believing in him…DJ mustered up the courage to act. "…Alright." DJ said before taking a deep breath to steel his nerves. "Let's do it!"
After using some rope they found DJ, Trent, and Leshawna tied themselves to the tongue of the trailer while everyone else was on the back ready to push. "Y'all ready to win this thing?" Leshawna asked with a smirk.
"Wait, look!" Dawn pointed forward as everyone looked to where Dawn was pointing and saw the Grip's trailer rolling down, eventually reaching the bottom with it continuing to roll away. "It's the Grips' trailer! They must have let it get away!"
"That means this is our chance to win this!" Bridgette grinned with a pumped up fist as she put her hands firmly on the back of the trailer. "Let's do this guys!"
"Ok, everyone go on the count of three!" Lincoln told everyone as everyone in the back got ready to push with Trent, DJ, and Leshawna preparing to run forward to pull. "One…two...THREE!"
The Gaffers' instantly took off, moving in perfect unison. The strength of Jasmine and DJ was more than enough to easily get the trailer moving. But combined everyone's strength, they were moving up the hill like the wind with nothing to slow them down! And currently at the top of the hill were all the Grip girls. Lindsay and Beth were simply talking with each other to pass the time, Izzy was practicing hanging upside down like she was this morning, and Heather was sending Ronnie Anne an irritated look as the Latina paced back and forth impatiently. "Ugh! Where are they?!" Ronnie Anne yelled out as she tried looking down the hill for the guys. Ronnie Anne then looked over to the Gaffers side and her eyes widened as she saw that they had nearly everything on their side of the hill! All they were missing was their trailer! "Seriously?! We started way before them! How are we behind!"
"Well let's take a look and see," Walking up to Ronnie Anne was Chris who had a pair of binoculars around his neck that he put on to see what was going on down the hill. "From what I'm seeing…Owen is passed out, Tyler is road kill, the rest of the guys are looking pretty scuffed up, and your trailer is currently making its way to freedom!"
"Oh for the love of-" Ronnie Anne was about to shout out in rage before Chris cut her off.
"And the Gaffers aaaaaaaaare…" Chris began as he took his binoculars off as he saw Lincoln's team coming up the hill and quickly. And in a few more moments, everyone watched as the Gaffers got their trailer up. "Here! Which means the winners of the first challenge are the Screaming Gaffers!"
"Woohoo!!!" The Gaffers all cheered as high fives and fist bumps were shared all around.
"We did it!" Dawn and Bridgette cheered together.
"Told ya you could do it ya big bloke!" Jasmine grinned as she patted DJ on the back. "Nice job!"
"Ouf!!" DJ let out as Jasmine slapped him on the back rather roughly, nearly taking him off his feet.
"Whoops, sorry!" Jasmine sheepishly apologized. "Don't know my own strength sometimes."
"Hah! See that!" Leshawna aimed at the other team, the girl with a tude just couldn't help but brag a bit. "That's what winning looks like!"
Ronnie Anne's face began going red in response as Chris spoke up. "We'll wait for the guys to catch up before we start the next part of the challenge," Chris announced, allowing some time for the guy Grips to catch their breath and lick their wounds. "The Gaffers will be working with a complete set while the Grips…" Chris then gestured to the Grips set…where they just barely had the bare minimum of stuff to work with. "…Really?"
"Don't look at me," Heather stated as she glared at Ronnie Anne. "Ask our 'genius' leader here,"
"Shut. IT!!!" Ronnie Anne snapped, directing her anger at Heather.
CONFESSIONAL – Beth
"Great, not only am I on a team with Heather again," Beth ranted with an annoyed look on her face. "But I'm also stuck on a team with Heather 2.0!!!"
"Now then, it's time to make a movie!" Chris announced as both teams stood in front of two sets. The Grips stood in front of some living room set with old fashioned looking furniture. Meanwhile the Gaffers were standing in front of what appeared to be an office set with dark colored walls and flooring. "Grips, what you have here is a set for a tear jerker starring an elderly lady considering her long life."
"Booooring," Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes.
"Meanwhile Gaffers," Chris ignored Ronnie Anne's little comment and pointed to Lincoln's team. "You'll be making a feature about a thug who tries to go straight but can't resist the street."
"Yeah, pretty sure that's been done," Gwen stated though again Chris ignored any comments made.
"Hey! What about lunch?" Heather spoke up from the Grips said as she gave Chris a pointed look. "We have been working for eight hours and you are legally obligated by union rules to give us a meal break!"
"Oh yeah? Who here's with the union?" Chris asked as he raised his own hand. But to everyone's surprise Geoff raised his hand. "Geoff, really?"
"Yeah dude," Geoff grinned as he put his hands to his hips. "The class union of my highschool bro! Class president three years running here!"
"Ok first of all, I feel bad for that school if you're the one leading it," Chris stated bluntly making Geoff slump down a bit as multiple members of his team face palmed. "And second, high school unions have zero authority here bro,"
"Bummer dude…" Geoff let out sadly.
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"I am herby forming local one of united workers against Chris!" Heather stated, desperate to take the host down a notch. "Who's with me? Everybody?"
"And now it's time to choose an actor to perform a scene!" Chris announced as Chef walked up to him carrying two envelopes. "Chef, give the teams their scene." As Chef handed both teams their scripts Chris made a second announcement about the challenge. "And of course one big part of being an actor is being able to work with other actors. So Grips to play the role of the elderly lady's granddaughter…"
"Tada!" Lily stepped up from behind the Grip's set wearing a pretty pink dress with a teddy bear in her arms. "Just call me Little April,"
"And for the Gaffers…" Chris pointed to the Gaffers set as Edward emerged from behind the desk on the set and crawled up it. "The thug's right hand man, his conscience who tries to lead him not necessarily on the right path but on the path that will leave him more fulfilled."
"Brbbr," Edward let out as he pulled a fedora from…somewhere and put it on his head.
MEANWHILE
Channel surfing on his couch was a man that looked to be a pharmacist eventually stopped when he got on the channel for Total Drama Action and saw Edward on screen. "What's this? A platypus on reality television?" The pharmacist blinked a few times before his eyes widened as he saw Edward put on a fedora. "PERRY THE PLATYPUS ON REALITY TELEVISION!?"
Ronnie Anne gave the script she was given a quick glance before looking at her team. "Ok we need an old lady," Ronnie Anne stated as she looked at the females of her team. "Lind-"
"Oh! Me! Pick me! It's gotta be me!" But before Ronnie Anne could make her choice Izzy ran up to try and offer to play the part. "I've got an old soul! I'm like 87 years old on the inside because I've been reincarnated like a whole bunch of times! In fact I'm the reincarnation of my very own granny Mavis!" Izzy then got in Ronnie Anne's face as she started speaking in a Scottish accent. "Ay there lassie! You spilled a wee bit of haggis on yer kilt! And I can tell ya, all the lots are risin' up to claw."
"…Yeah, no," Ronnie Anne said bluntly as she pushed the crazy chick from her away. No way she was gonna let that nutcase be their actor. They actually wanted to win. "This is Hollywood, and what's most important in Hollywood? Looks. How do you think Megan Fox got her roles?"
"Oh! I know this one!" Izzy grinned as she gave her answers. "Plastic surgery, drug scandals, and multiple messy break ups? I got that last one covered!"
"Aaaww…" Owen slumped down.
"Let's definitely not rule out that second one until we get her tested," Justin spoke up.
"But you're not much to look at," Ronnie Anne informed everyone before looking at the obvious choice for their scene. "And who does that leave us?"
Everyone on the team then looked at Lindsay who noticed all the eyes on her…and turned around to see what everyone was looking at. "I don't get it, what's everyone looking at?" Lindsay asked as she scratched her head a bit.
"You can not be serious…" Heather said in disbelief as Ronnie Anne only smirked.
"Alright let's see…big lucky parmesan-o," Lincoln looked at the very top of the script as he began brainstorming how to do this. "We need a tough guy to play the lead, any takers?"
"Who do we got that can play that role?" Leshawna asked as she looked over the boys on her team and none really screamed tough guy energy. "Might be harder to decide than ya think Q-Tip,"
"Well don't expect DJ to do it," Suddenly Chef, who was hanging around their set for whatever reason, decided to take a jab at the Brickhouse. "He definitely can't be a tough guy that's for sure,"
"Why would you say that…" DJ immediately felt the impact with Chef's words and gave the buff cook a hurt look, making Chef role his eyes a bit
"Hey! Where do you get off?!" Walking up to Chef with a scowl on her face was Jasmine who wasn't too happy with what Chef had to say about DJ. "Why don't you go mind your own business before I teach ya another lesson ya bloody cook wannabe!"
"Hmph," Was all Chef let out before leaving, Jasmine making sure to grab DJ's shoulder reassuringly.
"Hey why doesn't Mike do it?" Trent spoke up as he reached into their prop box and pulled out a fedora that matched Edward's. Mike flinched a bit at this and grew nervous as the guitarist went to put that hat on him. "He's a method actor so he's the best option we got for this."
"U-U-U-Uh, w-well…" Mike heavily stuttered and sweated nervously in response. Why did it have to be a fedora of all hats? And why did he have to say he was an actor!? Before Trent could put the hat on him Mike quickly stepped away. "W-Wait! I shouldn't do it!"
"What? Why not?" Trent asked as he and everyone else gave Mike an odd look.
"Be-Because, um…b-because…oh! Because I look terrible in hats!" Mike thought of the best excuse he could as he took the fedora from Trent. "Trust me, me and hats do not mix. And an important part of being an actor is how they look after all." Mike then put the hat on the closest guy to him besides Trent, that being Harold. "But look! It fits perfectly on Harold and he looks great in it!"
"Why thank you Mike, I do look good in fedoras don't I?" Harold smirked as he adjusted the fedora. "Plus this gives me a chance to unleash my mad acting skills. I'll do it!"
"Well, alright then." Lincoln shrugged, not having any issues. "Any objections?"
Everyone shook their heads, but Trent continued to give Mike a raised brow for how he was acting.
"Alright, we got our actors! Time to prepare the sets!" Chris announced through his beloved megaphone before pointing to Chef as he went to sit down in one of two directing chairs that were set up in front of a TV. "Whoever can get Chef, mister Ex army corporal, to show any emotion wins the challenge!"
"GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!" Chef gave both teams an intimidating growl.
"What are you all doing standing around?" Ronnie Anne demanded to know as her team was mostly standing around other than Lindsay, the lead actress who was wearing an old lady's costume, Justin, who was doing Lindsay's makeup through a mini makeup kit the blond carried with her, Beth, who was adjusting spotlights, Izzy, who was working the mic, and Tyler, who was behind the camera. "Get to work already and set up things!"
"Uh, newsflash sister, we're all set up." Duncan told her aggressively, not letting himself be intimidated by Ronnie Anne. "Because of your brilliant plan this is all we got!"
"And last I checked this is all we got because all of you!" Ronnie Anne pointed to Duncan before gesturing to the rest of the guys while continuing to glare at the delinquent. "Couldn't get the trailer with all our stuff up here!"
"I didn't see you doing anything to help!" Duncan pointed out, making Ronnie Anne growl in irritation. "You and the ladies here could've come down and helped us!"
As the two were arguing, Owen walked up behind Izzy. "Wow, our team is really dysfunctional huh?" Owen commented with a small chuckle, but the psycho hose beast merely gave him a silent glare. "Hey Izzy, sorry Ronnie Anne didn't let you be the actress. I'd bet you would have made a cute old lady!"
"…" Izzy didn't even give Owen a 'hmph' as she took the mic to the other side of the set.
"What am I doing wrong…" Owen sighed out…before a spotlight was dropped on his head. "OW!"
"Sorry!" Beth quickly apologized.
"Mommy…" Owen let out in a daze of pain.
"Alright people let's get this thing rolling!" Lincoln immediately went into 'director' mode as he started giving orders to his team to prepare the set and make it the best it can be. "DJ, need some powder here Harold's face is too oily! Jasmine dim the lights a little! Dawn, Gwen, get ready with the rain and lightning effects at the window! Mike, you work the camera! Trent, we need some atmospheric music pronto! Leshawna we need some props for Harold! Bridgette, get the microphones all set up!" After this, Bridgette passed Lincoln and couldn't help but smile at him. "What?"
"Nothing," Bridgette shrugged before patting Lincoln's back. "I just wanted to say that I'm proud of you,"
"…Heh, thanks," Lincoln said as he sheepishly scratched the back of his head. "Won't lie, this feels kinda good."
"And I couldn't agree more," Walking up behind Lincoln and snaking her arms around his neck was Dawn who turned Lincoln around to give him a loving look. "I love seeing you take charge like this, it's kind of hot~"
"Heh, thanks babe~" Lincoln and Dawn shared a passionate kiss on the lips before she let him go. "Now let's make a movie!"
"Hey Mike," Over by the camera Mike was more than happy with his position, but Trent wanted some answers for him denying the acting role earlier. So with his guitar in hand, Trent approached Mike to talk with him before starting. "Think we could talk real quick? Privately?"
"Uh yeah sure," Mike shrugged as he and Trent went behind their team's set in order to talk. "What did you wanna talk about?"
"I was wondering what was all that earlier about not wanting the role?" Mike immediately flinched a bit at Trent's question. Guess he should've expected someone to start asking about this. Didn't mean he couldn't hope no one did. "You said you were an actor and come on I'm sure you'd look alright in the hat. So what's up?"
Mike sweated a bit as he tried to think of an excuse to give…but nothing came to mind. Sighing Mike decided maybe he should bite the bullet, hopefully Trent wouldn't judge him too much or anything. "Ok, ok, I'll bite. My mom did say maybe telling someone would be good for me. Trent I…I haven't been totally honest with you," Mike revealed as Trent rose his brow, waiting for Mike to explain himself. "I'm not really a method actor, the thing with me is…well…I…I have dissociative identity disorder!"
"Wait…seriously?" Trent blinked a few times. He's heard of that disorder before but never saw it for himself. Then again, that might explain a few things regarding Chester. "I thought that only happened in movies and stuff."
"Would certainly make my life easier," Mike groaned as he explained things further to Trent. "So far you've only met Chester, but I have five different personalities. Putting on that hat would've brought one of them out and trust me he wouldn't have been much help with the challenge…and I think he might have offended Jasmine and that is NOT something I wanna risk!"
"Can't blame ya there," Trent nodded in agreement, that woman might wanna be the last person you wanna piss off.
"But please!" Mike grabbed Trent's shoulders and gave the guitarist a pleading look. "You can't tell anyone about this!"
"Hey, hey, it's all good bro. I won't say a word," Trent reassured Mike, making him breathe a sigh of relief. "But why'd you sign up for this show if you got a condition like that?"
"I don't know…" Mike sighed as he looked down. "Maybe find some way to handle it better, maybe…make some friends. I don't really have any back home, most people think I'm weird or a freak. Didn't help that one of my personalities got me thrown in Juvie…"
"Ouch," Trent winced a bit. Ok if that was the case he could definitely understand why Mike was hiding this. Luckily, Trent didn't think any less of Mike for this. "Well hey, I don't mind helping you out,"
"R-Really?" Mike blinked a bit in surprise.
"Yeah man, you seem like a cool guy, mental condition or not," Trent shrugged as he gave Mike a friendly punch to the shoulder. "Besides I'm weird too, I mean I can be a little superstitious sometimes."
"Thanks Trent," Mike gave his friend a small relieved smile, glad that the guitarist didn't think less of him for his condition. "I really appreciate it."
"No problem pal," Trent nodded his head, giving Mike a pat on the shoulder. "But just a little heads up, Dawn probably knows already."
"Huh how would she…" Mike cut himself off before face palming. Nevermind, the answer was completely obvious. "Aw crud of course she knows..."
"But don't worry your secret is safe," Trent reassured Mike before gesturing back to the set. "Now come on, let's go win this challenge,"
"Heh, sounds good to me," Mike nodded his head as he and Trent walked back to join the others.
"Alright Harold, let's get you looking good," DJ grinned as he and Harold were inside the trailer with the brickhouse working on Harold's makeup. Luckily he had plenty of experience with applying make up. "Now could you tilt that pretty chin up just a smidge please?"
"Gladly?" Harold was about to do that when-
"THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" Suddenly bursting into the trailer was Chef who sent a glare towards DJ before dragging him.
"Hey!" Harold yelled out only for Chef to growl at him and immediately start making him cower. "Nevermind…"
Outside, Chef immediately threw a startled DJ onto one of the director's chairs set up outside. "W-What?" DJ stuttered, wondering why Chef was so angry with him all of a sudden. "Momma always told me I had a flair for applying her church make up so I thought-"
"We have got to toughen you up cream puff!" Chef yelled at DJ. He couldn't stand to watch this brickhouse of a teen be such a soft, cowardly momma's boy. Especially considering it reminded Chef so much of himself in his early years.
CONFESSIONAL – Chef
"I gotta admit, I see a bit of myself in DJ," Chef admitted, though he didn't get into detail with it. That was for only him to know. "But I had to develop the macho in myself without somebody like me helping. This is gonna be fun."
"Here's the deal." Chef began as he started marching back and forth in front of DJ. "I'll help you man up and win this thing. You don't ask any stupid questions and you split the prize with me. It's like they say, it's an offer you can't refuse. I won't let you…"
All DJ could do in response was gulp fearfully.
Both teams were ready, Lindsay was all prepared to be the old grandmother complete with a white haired wig and Harold was dressed up as a gangster with a black trench coat, fedora, and a fake gun in his hands. "Alright, preparation time is up!" Chris announced as he sat down in the director's chair next to Chef. "Get ready to start filming teams!"
"Ok, ok, positions everyone!" Lincoln clapped his hands as all his team got into their designated positions, all knowing their part and ready to act on it. "And we're filming in 5, 4, 3, 2, action!"
Mike immediately started up the camera, directing it right towards Harold and Edward. Gwen and Dawn got to work with the effects with Dawn making it look like it was raining outside the window with Gwen making lightning flashes occasionally appear along with the occasional boom of thunder with Bridgette controlling the sound with DJ and Jasmine holding up the microphones and Trent began playing his guitar and providing some background music. "When I was a young school girl in Poland," Harold began his lines…although they proved to be rather out of left field. At least he put on a good gangster voice. "Frolicking in the field with my pet goat in the summer sun, those were my happiest days!"
"…Brbrbr?" Edward let out as he looked towards the camera.
CONFESSIONAL – Trent
"Ok, I'll never claim to be an expert on the subject," Trent began with a weirded out look. "But last I checked gangsters weren't known for their pet goats."
Watching on the TV screen in front of them which was split to show both teams' performances, Chris and Chef blinked a few times in response to Harold's line. "Did you check the envelopes before labeling them?" Chris asked with a small grin.
"I thought you did," Chef said before the two broke out giggling.
With the Grips' movie, it started with Lily walking up to Lindsay the smallest Loud embracing her role as the granddaughter. "Oh grandmother, I can't help but notice you seem to be lost in thoughts," Lily spoke to Lindsay in a soft voice, grabbing the blond's hand and squeezing it softly. "Please, tell me what's on your mind?"
"Well, you listen here and listen good," Lindsay began her performance, having the script obviously meant for the gangster. "When your…um…when your…line!"
"Seriously?!" Ronnie Anne face palmed. "We just started!"
"If your fighter doesn't go down in the first round you'll be sleeping with the fishes!" Beth whispered loudly to Lindsay before looking at the script. "Wow this granny's intense!"
"Oh right, If your fighter doesn't go down in the first round you'll be sleeping with the fishes!" Lindsay repeated the lines Beth told her before her ditzy mind wandered a bit. "Aaaww, that sounds nice! I love little fishies, especially those cute little tropical ones. Why don't I get to swim with them?"
"…I think grandma's dementia is acting up…" Lily said to the camera bluntly.
"I've lived a good long life!" Luckily despite his odd script Harold was given, the ginger was putting on quite the performance. "I loved, I've laughed, but what I miss most of all is my sweet little goat! Shopa! Oh, baa…baa…" Suddenly Harold began sniffling as tears escaped his eyes as he collapsed onto the desk crying while pounding on it with his fist. "Baaaaah! A-a-a-a-a-aaaah! Baaaaaah…"
"Baaah…Baaah…" Surprising everyone, Harold's performance was actually getting Chef to tear up. Not just Chef either, on the Gaffer's side Bridgette, Leshawna, Gwen, and Mike were all beginning to shed tears.
CONFESSIONAL – Leshawna
"Oh wow…" Leshawna wiped her teary eyes a bit with a tissue. "I gotta say seeing Harold up there putting on a star performance just made my little ole heart start beating loudly!"
"C-Cu…Cut!" Chris shouted, the host also crying a little bit. "Ok, enough! It's too much for Chef to take! Harold clearly wins for best performance! The Screaming Gaffers win!"
"Way to go Harold!" Lincoln cheered for Harold along with everyone else as the ginger got off the stage. "That was some excellent fake crying there, way to go!"
"Oh…yeah…" Harold sniffled a bit before rubbing his eyes. "Fake…"
CONFESSIONAL – Harold
"Why are we doomed to lose the things we love!?" Harold yelled out, crying up a storm again. "Why can't they stick around us forever?! Why?! WHHHHHHHHY?!"
"Ugh, I can't work like this anyway!" Lily yelled out in frustration as the Grips all sulked in defeat, Ronnie Anne glaring at Lincoln's team. "I refuse to work with amateurs! I'll be in my trailer!"
"Wow, she's playing the role well." Chris laughed as he watched Lily storm off. "Maybe she's got a future with this business."
DJ couldn't help but smirk in amusement a bit as Chef wiped his tears away. "You're gonna teach me how to be tough?" DJ snickered a bit as he walked up to Chef.
"Tough guys cry!" Chef immediately glared at DJ and grabbed and held DJ in the air by his shirt's collar. "And did you notice how your team just won? Who was the judge DJ? Huh? Who?!"
"Grips, what can I say sucks to be you right now," Chris addressed the losing team who either looked down or put on angry looks. "But you better get ready to send someone home tonight in the first Gilded Chris Ceremony! And Gaffer's, I'll be seeing you there too."
"What, why?" Mike asked as he and the Gaffers rose their brows. "Didn't we win?"
"Yep! But we're doing something special this season." Chris explained, keeping things vague like usual. "I'm assuming you all brought formal clothes like the email we sent all of you before the season instructed."
"I figured it'd be for a challenge," Lincoln said as they all nodded.
"Later on yes," Chris confirmed that Lincoln was technically correct. "But right now Gaffers get yourselves dolled up and you'll see who's going home at the Gilded Chris Ceremony."
LATER ON
Before the Gilded Chris ceremony started, Ronnie Anne had something important she needed to do and it involved getting Heather and Justin together someplace away from her and Lincoln's team. "Any reason you wanted to see us oh great leader?" Heather said with a voice dripping with sarcasm. "If you're trying to convince us not to vote you off, don't hold your breath. It's your fault we lost the challenge today!"
"Yeah plus I was gonna give myself a facial before the ceremony tonight," Justin said with an uncaring tone. "Even if I'm not on the winning team I still wanna look my best. Granted that's easy for me but still."
"Let's just cut all the crap, I know you two don't like me and the feelings mutual." Ronnie Anne cut right to the chase. "But there's one thing we three have in common. We all hate Lincoln."
"All too true, first he ruins my complexion with paint, and then he knocks me out!" Justin nodded as he listed the terrible wrongs Lincoln committed on him. Justin was still planning on making Lincoln pay for that. "So where are you going with this exactly?"
"Where do you think?" Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes. Guess he was just all looks and no brains. "I say we all work together."
"Like, an alliance?" Heather said, her brow raised in slight interest.
"We work together to bring Lame-O down!" Ronnie Anne stated as she slammed a fist into an open palm. "The three of us together would be unstoppable!"
"Hmmmm…" Justin hummed in thought before smirking at the Hispanic teen. "I think I can agree to that~"
"I know I shouldn't trust you…buuuuuut I like how you think." Heather smirked, actually thinking Ronnie Anne was onto something. Plus she was definitely in the market for an alliance and she had to take what she could get. "I'm in. On ONE condition."
"That being?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"First chance we get, Lindsay goes home!" Heather demanded, wanting the ditzy blond off the show as soon as possible.
"Fine, but tonight I have a different target in mind~" Ronnie Anne smiled deviously as she crossed her arms. "Think you can persuade some of our team members~?"
"Heh, come on~" Justin laughed confidently as he flipped his hair. "Do you know who you're talking too~?"
THE GILDED CHRIS CEREMONY
Night had fallen on the film set, spot lights shined up and illuminated the sky and theme music blared as the first ever Gilded Chris ceremony started. Today, someone will be going home. The Grips all sat down on the bleachers in front of the theater as Chris took the stage in front of the podium which had a microphone on it, the host rocking a fancy blue suit. "Grips, welcome to your first ever elimination ceremony!" Chris greeted the losing team before gesturing to the other side where a row of much nicer looking seats were, all having velvet cushions. "But first may I welcome the winning team, the Screaming Gaffers!"
Walking towards the nice seats was Lincoln's team, all wearing formal wear that Chris told them to wear. All the guys wore typical black suits except for Lincoln who like Chris had a blue suit on. The girls meanwhile all wore dresses of different styles and colors. Dawn had a split leg dark purple dress, Gwen had a midnight blue dress, Leshawna had a black dress that clung tightly to her figure, Bridgette was wearing a light blue dress with her hair done up in a bun, and Jasmine a dark green dress and was no longer wearing her hat and had a green ribbon in her hair.
The only exception to all this was Harold who instead of wearing a suit, wore a T-Shirt with a suit design on it. "Harold…really?" Chris deadpanned at the ginger.
"Hey, it's classy!" Harold defended his choice of formal wear.
"Keep telling yourself that bro," Chris rolled his eyes before noticing Lincoln's suit and the host couldn't help but compliment the Loud boy's choice of suits. "Lincoln, nice choice in suits bro,"
"Why thank you," Lincoln grinned as Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes.
"Anyway, this season to really give it that Oscars feel, the winning team will get to sit in the VIP booth and watch as the losing team sends someone back home in the lamosine which is waiting at the end of the carpet of shame!" Chris explained, pointing to the rundown limo waiting at the end of the red carpet. "Grips, if you'll look under your unvelveted seats you'll find voting boxes you'll be using to cast your votes digitally,"
"Fancy," Tyler commented as he and everyone else reached down and took out their voting box.
"We aren't doing the booth anymore?" Beth asked with a raised brow.
"Producers thought going digital would make things more fair," Chris told them, giving a disapproving look to a certain bald girl. "Can't rig digital votes. Heather."
"Will you just drop it already," Heather rolled her eyes at people still holding that against her.
"No!" Lincoln and Dawn yelled in unison.
"Now let the voting begin!" Chris announced as the Grips all looked at their box deciding who to vote off.
CONFESSIONAL – Duncan.
"Well I know who I'm voting for," Duncan was sticking to his choice of voting off Ronnie Anne. "There's no way I'm staying on the team with that crazy Mexican chick around. You sure know how to pick em snowball."
CONFESSIONAL – Owen
"Justin told me Izzy was gonna vote for Beth!" Owen explained what Justin revealed to him earlier. "Maybe if I vote with her, that'll get me back on Izzy's good side!"
CONFESSIONAL – Izzy
"I'm voting for Owen!" Izzy stated with an angry scowl. "If there's some danger in a challenge he'll definitely just push us in front of it again!"
CONFESSIONAL – Geoff
"I wanted to vote Ronnie Anne because…ya know," Geoff scratched the back of his head. After the challenge he was totally ready to vote Ronnie Anne off but there was a bit of a change in plans. "Buuuuut Heather brought up a good point about Beth. I mean last season she got her team cursed, and today she dropped a light on Owen. The girl's bad luck."
"Everyone done with the votes? Okay, if you do not receive a Gilded Chris award you'll have to leave and never come back. Ever! Now, the awards will be passed by my lovely assistant Chef." Chris announced as Chef came on stage with a tray of Gilded Chris awards and the results of the vote…while wearing a glittery pink dress. Everyone couldn't help but laugh as Chef growled and handed Chris the results that he gave a quick look over. "Well this is interesting, only three contestants have votes against them! 1 to 4 to 5, we got a close one here! Let's see who the lucky loser shall be. Duncan, Owen, Geoff, you three are safe my brothers."
"Woohoo!" Owen cheered as he, Duncan, and Geoff caught their awards with Izzy sending Owen a glare as he got his Gilded Chris Award.
"Heather, you're safe surprisingly," Chris announced.
"Hmph, says you," Heather smirked as she caught her award.
"Justin, Lindsay, this set remains hot another day." Chris confirmed the safety of two more teens.
"Naturally," Justin grinned as he and Lindsay caught their awards.
"Izzy, Tyler congrats," Chris snapped his fingers and pointed to the mentioned two. "You stay for another painful day."
"Alright!" Tyler cheered as he tried to catch his, only to get hit in the face with his award.
Izzy ended up catching hers in her teeth and waved it around like a dog toy. "Grrrrr!!!" Izzy growled out playfully.
"And then there were two," Chris pointed to the last two remaining Grips. Beth and Ronnie Anne. Beth immediately grew nervous at the possibility of being sent home first. "Beth, you're on the chopping block for your track record last season. Not to mention hurting the lovable Owen. Not cool."
"It was an accident…" Beth lowered her head in guilt.
"And Ronnie Anne…" Chris immediately began laughing a bit. "Do I even need to say anything? Hahah!"
"Oh get on with it," Ronnie Anne rolled her eyes.
"And the last Gilded Chris goes too…" Chris began slowly, building up the tension. Ronnie Anne narrowed her eyes as Beth shook a bit while crossing her fingers. After what felt like an eternity…Chris announced the last safe Grip. "Ronnie Anne."
"What?!" All the Gaffers let out in shock.
"What?!" Beth felt her spirits crushed as Ronnie Anne smugly caught her trophy.
"No!" Lindsay couldn't believe it as she stood up. Her new BFF was getting sent home first? How could this happen? "Who all voted for Beth?"
"I didn't babe!" Tyler immediately said in his defense. "I swear!"
"Don't look at me," Duncan shook his head, proudly stating he voted for Ronnie Anne.
"But…but…but..." Beth repeatedly let out.
"Hey, dork-wad," Ronnie Anne smirked cruelly at Beth as she pointed to the lamosine. "You're lame-chariot is waiting," And the Hispanic teen couldn't help but give Lincoln a smug look and wave.
"Oh that girl is askin' for it," Leshawna let out as all the Gaffers glared at Ronnie Anne.
"You're tellin' me," Jasmine growled a bit as she crossed her arms. "This means war."
"Can say that again," Lincoln gritted his teeth a bit at his Ex. No matter what, he was taking her down.
Beth hung her head low as she walked down the carpet of shame, but before she left someone called out to her. "I'll win this for you Beth!" Lindsay called out to her best friend. "And I'll totally take you and Tyler with me to Paris when I win!"
"Thanks bestie!" Beth couldn't help but smile at Lindsay. "I'll be cheering you on!" And with that Beth entered the lamosine to be taken away from the competition forever.
"And there we have it," Chris said as he moved away from the mic to look at the camera. "The end of the very first Gilded Chris ceremony! New teams! New alliances! Same ole humiliating departure! Who will be the next one to take the dreaded Walk of Shame? Find out next time on Total. Drama. Action!"
CONFESSIONAL – Justin
"So, already got myself a strong alliance hehe," Justin leaned back in his seat confidentially, thinking everything was going his way. "Snowball won't know what hit him. And I know I can control these two with my charms. This competition is all mine baby~"
CONFESSIONAL – Heather
"Hah, I'm not an idiot. This alliance is doomed to fail. And I plan on taking advantage of that," Heather stated, revealing her master strategy for the season. "Justin is all looks and no brains, he'll be easy to dump when he's useless. And thanks to snowball's sad sack backstory everyone already hates Ronnie Anne, meaning my target is now on her. When this falls I'll be left standing to win the million~"
CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne
"I meant it when I said I'm here to win and win alone," Ronnie Anne spoke fiercely as she slammed her hand down on the vanity. "That million dollars is all mine and I'll trample over anyone who gets in my way! Lincoln and his hippie are gonna be crushed into dust!"
