Synopsis
“They said don’t look out the window after midnight. Jax looked. Now the Watchers are coming.” In the dead zones of the future, silence is law—and surveillance is god. Jax Elrin, a 17-year-old scavenger from the Gray Sector, never meant to break the rules. But when the power dies and something inhuman stalks him through the shadows, he learns the truth: he’s been marked. The Watchers have seen him. Now labeled an unauthorized existence, Jax has seven days to survive a deadly game—one he never agreed to play. Hunted by faceless enforcers and haunted by visions no implant should detect, Jax must choose: run, hide, or rise. Because the system isn’t just broken—it was designed to burn. The countdown has begun. The Revolution has a name. And it’s watching.

⚠️ Episode 1: They Only Come When You Blink

The power went out at 2:44 AM.

Jax Elrin didn't flinch—he never did. Seventeen years old, tech scavenger, raised in the Gray Sector where curfews weren't a suggestion—they were survival laws. But tonight felt... different.

The silence after the blackout wasn't normal. It was too perfect. No flickering of backup generators. No alarms. No neon hums from surveillance drones outside the window.

Just darkness.

Just breathing.

Not his.

Something else.

He grabbed the flashlight from his desk, the one he hacked to work without batteries—because nothing in the Gray Sector worked without being stolen or rewired. But before he could turn it on, his retinal implant blinked red.

> "WATCHED. DO NOT MOVE."

His breath hitched.

They weren't supposed to see him yet.

The Watchers only marked you after you broke the Law of Silence. He hadn't made a sound. He hadn't—

The air shifted. Cold. Heavy. It coiled around his neck like invisible fingers.

His door creaked.

Not opened. Just... creaked.

Like it wanted him to know it could open. That it might.

Jax slowly reached for his boot knife, heartbeat syncing with the flickers of warning text across his vision.

> "LEVEL 1 MARK DETECTED."

"CONTAINMENT PROTOCOL: PENDING."

He hadn't even done anything. Why now?

He stepped back toward his closet, sliding the old wooden door open just enough to slip inside. It smelled like sweat, metal, and old smoke bombs. His hiding spot since childhood. He'd once thought it was stupid to hide in the same place every time.

Until now.

Then the camera clicked.

A soft mechanical tick-tick-tick, like a beetle tapping on glass.

There was no camera in his room.

None that he installed.

The sound came again. Louder. Closer.

Then—

A flash.

Like lightning.

Like a snapshot of fear.

Like being caught in the moment before you die.

And through the slit in the closet door, he saw it.

It didn't have a face.

It wore a black surgical coat, like a dissection lab assistant. Limbs too long. Fingers like tangled wires.

It didn't look at him. It didn't need to.

It already knew.

> "MARK CONFIRMED. ID: JAX ELRIN. BREACH STATUS: UNAUTHORIZED EXISTENCE."

He couldn't breathe.

Then his retinal implant blinked again—

Not red this time.

White.

> "You've been chosen."

His closet door flung open.

Empty room.

No monster.

Only his room. Clean. Quiet.

As if nothing had happened.

Only the blinking white text in his vision remained.

> "You have seven days to survive. Let the Revolution begi

n."
