He placed the skill cards against their foreheads one by one.
To say they were shocked would be an understatement.
Whispers broke out. No one had ever heard of anything like this.
Still reeling from the experience, they began testing their new skills on the spot. The are even brainstorming ways to integrate them with their current roles.
Sebastian, who had just regained his composure, gave an awkward cough and muttered under his breath, "The new generation really does surpass the old… Luke would have been proud."
Yet there wasn't a trace of bitterness in his voice. Losing the bet didn't bother him.
"I guess I'm just... Sebastian now," he added with a defeated chuckle, shaking his head.
Lucien gave everyone a moment to test their new skill. He knew this was a lot to take in and it would take time for them to adjust.
