This may be random but I think I just died? Why do I think this, well you see I am currently sitting in an infinite black void with no sound, my senses are null but for some reason I still have my body but it is pseudo-physical.
As a strange bright light approaches me I feel my body and soul evaporate, I try to scream but I cant as it quite literally feels like everything has been ripped from me, is this what going to hell feels like? Well I dont really care because im not religious but still.
"Aaahh!!" What? What just happened to the white void and what is this place, some type of apartment? What is happening? As I thought this thousands of memories would stream inside my head of who I am living as and what this world is.
This world is in a modern era full of Metahuman Powers and Magic, this world has the majority of them get trained in schools and then join their Metahuman Military or another hero team that they decide to join or have created.
There are also villains who use their powers for evil in this world as well and like to cause as much chaos and destruction simply for the fun of it; finally the boy's body that im in is named Liam Owens, he was a boy orphaned at a young age due to losing his parents at the age of 2 from a terrorist attack leaving him traumatized, even though he was really young he still remembered.
Liam finally moved out of the orphanage at 15 of his own will and despite being very young managed to get the funds to buy an apartment, Liam had also had cancer but got enough treatment to tone it down, and since I am Liam now with all these memories that can only mean one thing.
At 17 years old which is how old the current body is now, it got too much for Liam even with treatment and he died at home alone, and now im taking his place. I am aware some Isekai protagonists take the places of people when they were alive as well but it doesnt feel like that, I think Liam Owens really is dead, and no one ever knew about it.
It really is sad but I wont cry over a guy I didn't know, anyway shouldnt a fellow reincarnate get a power or system or something? Am I just some guy with cancer now or is it some Deadpool type shit, I really dont know.

[I believe I already explained some of this but to fully explain it further, this world and era is filled with metahumans, magic users, genetic experiments, superhuman extraterrestrials, etc. In this world having a metahuman power (let alone any type of power) is rare and almost half of the population have them; the city you live in is called Sakuraza.
This city is one of the capital of the Nation of Snezhnaya; the reason there is a new nation is because of the Metahuman War which decimated the majority of the nations, now of the original nations and countries remain, those being America, England, Japan, and India; five other nations were made, those being Arien, Kalmaire, Ganyin, Snowdens, and finally Snezhnaya which you are in now, these 9 Countries and States are the only remaining ones in the world, and now instead of referring to them as countries and states they are referred to Settlements.

America: The most powerful of the four original settlements; Managed to survive best and retain the best resources during the Metahuman War, the settlement has many powerful Metahumans under their command and are much feared.
England: Lost many assets during the Metahuman War but managed to retain many weapons and ended up surviving through immense willpower and tenacity, however after the war the country became stricter to its people and cares much about brute force, the majority of the Metahumans are in England's Military Force; It is considered the third strongest of the original settlements,
Japan: Managed to survive almost as well as America; lost many assets and weapons but had the most help from the other countries (mainly America) and survived the war, they also lost the least casualties and are currently a quiet but intelligent nation which has many Metahumans but they do not do much with their abilities; regardless Japan is considered the second most powerful of the original settlements.
India: This settlement faced the worst in the Metahuman War, they lost most of their assets, weapons, and had the most casualties; this country had the least help in the war and only barely managed to survive the war, the cities they have are mainly just the ruins of the war; India has the least Metahumans of the four original settlements and are based almost purely off of brute force and fear, despite being the weakest of the four original nations it is considered the second most feared of the four.
Arien: One of the five settlements created after the Metahuman War; it is a religious settlement that harbours many Metahumans and have the second most beautiful and lush surroundings of all the 9 Settlements; the country is generally passive.
Kalmaire: One of the five settlements created after the Metahuman War; this settlement is considered the generally most dangerous and vengeful of the 9 Settlements as the majority of the people there including Metahumans are raised as Assassins and Ruthless Warriors, it is the third most feared of the 9 Settlements.
Ganyin: One of the five settlements created after the Metahuman War; It is home to the majority of the Magic Using Metahumans and have the least Non-Magic Using Metahumans of the 9 Settlements, they are also considered the second most powerful Nation tied with Snowden.
Snowdens: One of the five settlements created after the Metahuman War; It is considered the most ruthless and monstrous of the 9 Settlements; it is a settlement residing in the remains of the tallest mountains in an unknown area that was damaged in the Metahuman War; the people in the settlement are commonly scientists who experiment on Metahumans and have created the majority of the Mutated and Genetic Experiments, this infamous nature has even caused the settlement of Kalmaire to be wary of them; it is also the second most powerful of the 9 Settlements tied with Ganyin.
Snezhnaya: One of the five settlements created after the Metahuman War; It is also the most powerful, prosperous, feared, wealthy, and beautiful of the 9 Settlements; it is the first of the new Nations to be forged after the Metahuman War and harbours the most Metahumans on the planet, this settlement is also considered the ideal 'New Era' of the world, this is also the only settlement that harbours Extraterrestrial Metahumans other than Snowdens.

210 years ago the world was like the one you reincarnated from, however in that year some type of unknown energy affected the planet, this energy also managed to affect other planets as well across many galaxies, possibly the entire universe
During this time the powers that infected humans would initially appear as mutations which caused the majority of the countries and nations to fear them and try to permanently wipe them out, this somewhat worked as they managed to kill 2.4 Million Metahumans in one of their attacks.
Realizing that they would never be acknowledged as human again and afraid, they eventually were forced into a situation of war with the entire world, despite the world's many weapons and technology when facing countless people with abilities beyond any normal human, the Nations and Countries were all defeated and only 4 of them managed to remain.
Eventually the Metahumans stopped when they saw what they were doing was wrong and eventually the humans managed to respect and see the Metahumans as 'normal' people again and eventually rebuilt their homes as settlements with the Metahumans using their powers to help build a better world for the next generations to come.
Despite the war casualties and the secret hatred between the minor factions of both sides they still managed to eventually make up and make it work; other than the four original settlements there are no ruins in the world, as to how there are only 9 Settlements out of 195 countries, each of the 9 Settlements managed to expand over the globe far more than exponentially to fill in those areas.
