The car soon arrived in front of a big mansion. Ji Fei looked at the home she grew up . It was a big villa which covers a area of about 2000 sq. meter. It contains a large garden at both side with a wide road in between along with a beautiful fountain in the middle. The villa also contains a basketball court , swimming pool and a large garage.
While reminiscing about the past they soon arrived inside the house . Inside the house, Ji Fei saw her grandparents sitting on the sofa. Both of the elderly are in their seventies . Grandpa Ji still looked liked he is in his sixties while granma ji looked to be in her fifties. They were still very vigourous.
Seeing the two elders made Ji Fei's eyes moist . In the original novel grandpa died of heart attack. Grandma unable to bear the pain soon followed . It was also the trigger of the downfall of the ji family
"Grandpa,grandma, I am home" Ji Fei said giving her grandparents a big hug.
"Oh my darling, how are you? Look how thin you have become. I told you it's not good staying alone at a foreign land without any family." Said her grandma.
Ji Fei smiled helplessly at her grandma. No matter what happens her grandma will always say the same thing. But she is not one to complain. In fact she enjoys her grandma's concern.
" Grandma, look didn't I came back now. You can just fatten me up" Ji consoled the elderly.
Sure enough hearing her word grandma ji beamed.
" Old woman what do you know ? I sent Ji Fei there to train . Otherwise how can she manage the company in the future." Grandpa Ji said to grandma ji .
"Shut up you old man . It's always the same nonsense about the company. You are going to turn my granddaughter just like you by your nonsense " Grandma Ji berated.
Grandpa Ji sulked but obediently shut up. Seeing this both father and mother Ji along with Ji Fei laughed aloud. But seeing grandpa Ji's glare they suppressed their laughter.
No matter how powerful the man of the Ji family are, they are still very obedient and dutiful towards the women of the family.
Grandpa Ji soon turned his attention backed to his granddaughter and asked " Darling, did you miss your grandpa? "
" How can I not miss you , grandpa. I missed you everyday." replied Ji Fei smiling.
Upon hearing this , the old man was finally satisfied and become happy again.
But the rest of the members were no happy.They all turned their attention to Ji Fei and asked in unison" what about us?"
"Of course I missed you all." coaxed Ji Fei.
Only then the whole family was satisfied and started chattering happily.
Looking at the beautiful family in front of her Ji Fei thought to herself " No matter what happens I will never let the things in my dreams repeat. I will protect each and every one I love from the so called novel plot."
